This Chinese take out is the closest fast food you can find outside of NYC's Chinatown. How do i know? I live and grew up in Chinatown. The pork fried rice that other restaurants serve in Albany is as Chinese as Uncle Ben's. This cook knows how to make the real deal.

My three-year old said she was thirsty on the walk to Great Wall and I told her we could get a bottle of water at the restaurant, forgetting I had paid online and left my wallet at home. The man at the counter heard me trying to explain this to my disappointed toddler and very graciously gifted us the bottle. 10/10, would recommend. Food was good too.

Hole in the wall place with a table or two. Its not pretty. But the food deserves 5 stars and is undoubtedly the best Chinese takeout in Delmar. Not too greasy, no fake yellow coloring on the rice and not overdoing it on the MSG. Been coming here for 15 years at least

Got the fried scallops, chicken lo mein, and pork fried rice. All of it was absolutely fantastic! Tastes like it a labor of love - especially the fried rice. Perfect food for the perfect price, I will definitely be coming back!

Food was terrible. Everything was cold...the crab ragoons had no flavor at all and the pastry part was hard...the vegetable lomien only had a few mushrooms...the pork egg roll had very little taste. Will not order from here again...was a waste of my hard earned money!

I don’t feel good leaving bad reviews, but the food I got here was the lowest quality food me (or anyone else sharing it) has had in recent memory. It is difficult to stomach.

We ordered rice and sesame chicken on two different occasions and the actual meat was disgusting. It was super stringy and you couldn't even chew it. I had to spit it out. The seasoning was good however the meat honestly didn't taste like Chicken...

And the rangoons...I love rangoons. Even if they aren't great from one place they are usually good. These rangoons were bad. They either cooked them too long or used dirty oil. They were a brown rather than tan and there were brown bits on them that looked like some of the inside that oozed out and burned onto them. I still tried 2 of them and they were no good, not even a little. I will never order fom here again.

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. First, the on-line menu is totally different than what they carry. When taking my order, it wasn't mentioned that they only take cash. I was given one price on the phone ($25.00), but the person that picked up the order was charged more ($30.00). When I called to question this, I was told my order was $30.00. They left out part of the order, then told me I didn't order it.

My first and last time....I stopped for egg drop soup....OMG he made in the wok and it tastes and looks like dish water. I went to my favorite place South Wok and got their delicious egg drop soup!!! Check out my picture - Great Wall on left - South Wok on right -- it's a no brainer which one is better!! Extra pic is Great Wall egg drop soup.

i think i got food poisoning from this place LOL just threw up the crab rangoon here is really bad, filling is bland, the sweet and sour sauce was also so watery and bland i had to take a covid test afterwards. order from empire wok instead, their crab rangoon is good
