We had gone there on a recommendation from a local and needless to say we were more that satisfied! The Flan portion was almost the size serving for 2 people brought memories back. The tacos where so delicious and with their plenty of selections of salsas to add you get to add your choice of spicy level. The Aguas frescas are definitely a must try and they are definitely house made. The birria was very juicy and plentyfull. The food was definitely a 10/10. The patio is spacious and nice to have the option of insode dining or outdoors. The drink was a bit strong to my taste but didnt disappoint the pineapple and jamaica blends where just nice.

Loved eating here! The tacos were fantastic, place is cute and fun, loved my hibiscus tea and our chips and salsa and just really enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

DELICIOSO!!! 10 out if 10 recommend for their Birria Taco’s! My husband’s burrito was enormous and the flavors are amazing! All the meats were seasoned really well, cooked to perfection. Loved trying all the different sauces! Definitely gonna be a new family favorite for us! Great food, cute atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be back often!

El Taco H has great flavors with their tacos. And get that guac! I am a fan of their horchata and the Al pastor was my favorite taco. Head over to El Taco H downtown Denton just off the square.

El Taco H is our favorite place to get street toco's. They are so fresh and packed with flavor. We love the quesa birria, el pastor and carne asada. I'm sure the others are good as well but we like those so much that we haven't given any others a shot. Their rice and beans are solid, the beans have a smoky flavor that I love. My favorite thing there is the guacamole. It's honestly the best I've ever had. It has a light fluffy texture, almost like it's whipped. It's not bland at all like a lot of guac, it has a nice lime flavor and some spice. They top it with pico which just adds to it. They have a huge salsa bar so I get more pico and keep adding it on top. Their elote is wonderful too, they top it with a lot of cheese so as you eat it the cheese keeps falling inside and you get cheese in each bite. Their margaritas excellent as well! My favorite it the mango. Do not leave there without getting dessert. Their filled churro's are straight from heaven! I would stop there just to have that alone.

We came for lunch to celebrate a birthday. There is plenty of free street parking around the establishment and there is a free parking lot in the rear as well. There are multiple ramps through out the restaurant and around it. When you walk through the front door there are menus on the wall in holders you order your food and beverages at the front desk and they give you a number that you take with you. They have glass soda bottles that you order at the front. As you walk through the restaurant they have plenty of decor on the walls and near the rear is the bar area where you can order mixed cocktails or beer. They have a salsa bar that you can help yourself too and a water area with ice dispenser that you can help yourself too. When your food is ready a runner brings it out to you according to your number you got from the front. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and guacamole was amazing and had a slight spice to it.

Great service from the moment you walk in. Quality of food is as expected for the price and the environment is great for a weekend brunch. There salsa bar is also a nice touch. Can also accommodate larger groups, no problem.

I came here on a late night on a whim when I was craving some tacos and it did not disappoint. The tacos are pretty small but packs a lot of flavor. The taco meats were of quality and definitely had me wanting for more. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of seating, and has a bar, and there was some silent auction in a corner too. They also have a salsa bar with condiments, but be warned the salsa (even the mild green salsas) are quite spicy. I only got birria tacos and carne asada but definitely coming back for more. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Aguas Frescas were delicious, Food was delicious but portions aren’t great for the price of things. Cocktails are sooo good! Birria Plate portion is small but flavor is good, the quesadilla portion size is disappointing, almost like a kids sized menu item. All in all good food but don’t be too hungry when you get there, don’t pass on the agua frescas, and do try to get a cocktail.

El Taco H Review Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pricing 💲💲 We had dinner at El Taco H Last night in downtown Denton. We have been a couple times before but not in quite awhile, probably our first time there this year. Overall it was a fantastic meal, the food was delicious, super flavorful and on point. Portions were generous, and we love the salsa bar. Their selection of salsas is excellent, they aren’t messing around. Their habanero salsa is delicious with an appropriate amount of spice. Their avocado salsa will getcha, it’s super spicy 🌶️ but delicious! We had two taco plates which is 3 tacos with rice and beans and our son had the XL Grande burrito 🌯 which is enormous to say the least. As you can see it nearly took up the whole tray! For the taco plates we did Al Pastor, Barbacoa, Carnitas, and Birria. All were excellent, though they were a little greasy, not a complaint just an observation. The grease added flavor but if your anti-grease be warned. The grease was likely from the birria and barbacoa, so could avoid that if you order different tacos. I’m a huge fan of al pastor, and their Al pastor is excellent, did not disappoint. 🌮 The burrito had carne asada in it and was very good, definitely more than enough for one person and we took an entire 2nd half home for leftovers. The rice was ok, not special but average. The charro beans 🫘 on the other hand were fantastic! A real standout, tons of flavor. I’m not usually a one to eat the beans and will often ask for double rice instead but I loved these beans! We also had a Sangria and Watermelon Agua Frescas. The sangria was delicious, the watermelon agua fresca was good but a little too sweet for my taste. The only con and the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. 💲💲 While the food was very good the price was a bit on the high side, I’d say worth it, but definitely something you need to be prepared for. The entire meal was $80 for 3 people.

Visiting Texas Always looking for great place to eat. El Taco H did not disappoint from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere and vibe was inviting... The staff was helpful and informative with all their food choices... Price point and menu choices were fair and plentiful with their food. Salsa and guacamole were tastefully done. Bar Area enjoyed the most amount of people. With the salsa bar along with the actual bar. It's the best place to sit and enjoy your food choices. With endless drink choices from the Bar. You can't go wrong with El Taco H.... Stop by, I know you'll be happy with your choice.

the people in the front and back of house gave great service. they were super friendly and my food came out fast and was so incredible. unfortunately the overuse of ai generated pictures is disappointing, i wish the owner would’ve worked harder to hire graphic designers. i may come back just because the workers were amazing and i liked the mural and window art by real artists outside of the building.

Cute backyard. Was excited to sit back there. Food was terrible. Had chicken flautas and birria tacos. The chicken was so dry and not good at all. The waitress spilled the birria “juice” all over the taco plate and acted like we were crazy for asking why the whole plate was drenched. Neither dishes were good. Very disappointing. Would definitely not recommend.

So I took my wife here for lunch on Saturday, and honestly the food was so-so at best. The service sucked The staff at the counter sucked. My food was cold and dry. My wife’s was just missing for a while Ugh. They sucked So it all started by my wife and I walking up to order and my wife ordered two different type of tacos and a Diet Coke and a chips/salsa, I also ordered two different tacos and a glass of water. Simple, right?? Two people, four tacos! The girl said something to me which I couldn’t hear due to the amount of noise there. Btw, this was a very noisy place. So I said, yes, that my wife ordered two tacos and I ordered two tacos Weird that you get a plastic cup but have to go to the bar in a different room to get your coke. So we sat and waited. They brought my tacos chips and salsa and left. We waited And waited And nothing So I went back up to the counter and was told that I had only ordered 2 tacos. So I told her that my wife had ordered two tacos and was told I had to pay again. 4 tacos, chips & salsa and a drink for $24. Seriously over priced It’s amazing she heard my wife order the chips and salsa and her coke but not the tacos!! Her tacos finally did arrived, (NOT the tacos she ordered) but she ate them as we were tired and she was hungry Overall the experience sucked. Over priced over rated I cannot recommend this place and won’t go back
