LSA Burger Co Denton Reviews
We brought our son and his wife here, visiting from TN. The waiter was nice, there was a country singer playing guitar, and this was the view from the window! Pretty!
I had a fantastic experience here last night. I don't like to be hyperbolic about such things, but Diana helped make my debut experience here a great one. First of all the basics, sat inside and the seating was good and comfy. Clean bathroom, always a big plus. Menu is relatively robust as burgers go, a fair selection all to strike different niches. Not a whole heck of a lot as far as non-burgers go, but I mean the sign says burger company so that's what your there for. Now as for the food itself, I got the Double Trouble with a side of normal fries. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and I got through it real quick. Messy, but all great burgers typically are. The fries were also a real stand out, right amount of flavor with food structure. My friend I was with got the garlic parmesan fries and they were fantastic. Once again I would like to give the most credit to the service we recieved. Diana was both very friendly and knowledgable and well equipped to help us have an amazing experience. My friend I went with is a picky eater, and both our waitress and the kitchen were happy to accommodate that to ensure we had the best experience we could. Overall great experience I gotta come back during a time they have live music.
My family stopped by today and we absolutely loved it! We sat downstairs with a great view of the mural! Our server Kai recommended us the brisket queso and our kids absolutely loved it! This was our first time, and we loved the ambiance and the service. Kai was amazing and we hope to be a frequent!
We sat upstairs, had a great waitress! We ordered the los lonely and the other burger with mushrooms and we loved it. We shared a side of parm fries and yum! We did order the house margaritas both- on the rocks and frozen and we did not like the at all. The waitress was amazing and changed our drinks. I would definitely recommend this place! The TV upstairs is kind of small so not the best place to watch a game but it’s doable.
This place is consistently amazing. 2nd time here this week. Again the waiter was on point! Bryce was on top of it. Drinks were fantastic. Food was very good. Pretty much brisket anything is good. Big fan of spirit of the hero burger. Never had Mac and cheese on a burger but highly recommended.
Stopped here on a whim and was super impressed!! My wife and I are music lovers, so we had a fun time looking at all the decorations. They had great jams playing, from ZZ Top to Selena to Polyphia. They cover all the bases here! I got a Stevie burger and added grilled jalapeños. Honestly, it was the best burger I've ever had. The blue cheese was freshly made and they used raw jalapeños instead of pickled, which I appreciate! The garlic parm fries were huge. Stop in here if you love Texas, music, and good food.
The food was thoroughly good! We shared the brisket queso and the garlic parm herb fries. The fries came with two sauces, and we honestly could not decide which was better! I had the Psychedelic Burger, which came with mushroom and Swiss, and the regular fixins. One of my sons had the Georgie Boy (bacon cheddar), and it was also great! The sweet tea was also good. We sat up top, in open air at sunset. Great atmosphere!
LSA Burger Denton is the real deal! The location is perfect, with a great view of the Denton County Courthouse and a lively, fun atmosphere. The burgers were some of the best we’ve had in a long time. I ordered the Double Trouble, loaded with guacamole, Havarti cheese, and their signature Venom sauce—a perfect balance of hot and sweet. The patty itself was tender, juicy, and seasoned just right, all tucked into a fresh, flavorful bun. We also tried the Ready Freddy, which was equally outstanding. The fries were another highlight—crispy golden on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside, and perfect with ranch. From start to finish, everything was excellent. If you’re in Denton and craving a burger, this spot is a must!
If Denton had a burger throne, LSA Burger would be sitting on it—wearing a cowboy hat and holding a brisket queso scepter. 🎨 The Vibe Walking into LSA is like entering a Texas-meets-pop-art fever dream—in the best way. The legendary Texas Last Supper mural is always a photo op, and the rotating local art on the walls adds a funky, community-driven touch. Add rooftop seating with views of the square? Chef’s kiss. It’s a whole Denton experience before your food even hits the table. 🍔 The Food They don’t just serve burgers—they serve statements on buns. Los Lonely: The fan favorite, and for good reason. Classic, juicy, reliable. Ready Freddie + Psychedelic: Flavor explosions, and perfect for the adventurous. Brisket Queso: Honestly, worth coming for this alone. Melted cheese, smoky brisket, crispy chips = yes. Parmesan Fries: Crispy, garlicky, and slightly addictive. (You’ve been warned.) Portions are solid, and the creativity in the menu keeps it fun without feeling gimmicky. 🙌 The Service Generally great—most servers are friendly, upbeat, and quick on their feet. That said, during busy times (weekends, events, or a perfect patio day), expect a bit of a wait. Not a dealbreaker, but good to know. ⚠️ The Cons (Because honest reviews matter) Crowds: This place is popular for a reason—rooftop or not, expect a wait during peak times. Prices: It's definitely not fast-food pricing. You're paying a little more for the experience and the setting. Noise: It can get loud, especially indoors. Don’t expect a quiet catch-up dinner here. Parking: Denton Square parking is what it is—cute, quirky, and often full. Plan ahead or prepare to circle. 🏁 Final Word LSA Burger isn’t just another burger joint. It’s a full-on Denton experience—bold flavors, vibrant art, and a rooftop view that makes everything taste better. Whether you're a longtime local or just visiting, it’s a spot that absolutely delivers. Is it a little loud, a little crowded, and a bit pricier than some others? Sure. Is it worth it? Every. Single. Time.
First of all, I love Denton! The square is where everything happens. There are buskers playing live music, college students studying in the grass, and art on the walls. This is why Lone Star Attitude shines so strong here! LSA Burgers is filled with great Texan music, Texan pride, and a love for Jesus! The food and atmosphere are a unique experience to be relished! Texas sized burgers are certain to delight.

Great place to unwind with friends and family. Good selection beer , appetizers & food. We really enjoy the sunset cheer celebrating the end of another great day!
Great food, great service. Was our first time here and a great experience. The brisket queso will be a must have each time. It was delicious and everyone tried it and loved it. We ended up with three orders by the end of dinner for our party of nine. My burger was a bit watery and my bottom bun was soggy, but the burger was very juicy and delicious. I tried the jalapeno cheddar bun and it was worth the $2 up charge. Very accommodating staff, very friendly and great service.
First time in Denton and we were craving burgers so we stopped here. The live music was fantastic. Loved it. The lighting was great. The food wasn't mindblowing but it was pretty good! I'm not expecting michelin quality, of course. For the price, I recommend. The cocktails especially were quite affordable and yummy. The Texas Sun cocktail tasted like Spongebob personified lol. Our server Howie was very amicable and definitely gives us a reason to return to LSA next time we visit Denton. He made sure to check on us at the perfect intervals. Food came out super quickly. This is a little random but the to go packaging we received was quite nice.
I absolutely love this location! It was a lovely day sitting on the roof eating. Our waiter was nice and hilarious. They were super busy so it was a bit slow going but it was to be expected. The food was okay. The menu was a bit disappointing. I really wanted a regular cheese burger but there's not one. There was one burger that was pretty plain but it didn't come with cheese. I know you can ask for things but I found that to be really odd. I ended up with the Texas chili and a side salad. It was good but the chili had some kick to it. My daughter had the Mac n cheese (soft food because she just had her braces tightened 😪) my son had the Stevie and my husband had the Georgie boy. Everyone seemed pretty pleased. We also got an order of fries for the table. I got a Texas sun and a regular margarita. The margarita was outstanding! Some weird, high pitched, alarm kept going off, which was annoying and distracting. The location, view, waiter and atmosphere make all the less than stellar things worth it.
Diana was such a great and friendly server! She clrecommended the brisket queso over fries and that wad such a good call! My burger was tasty as well! I had a few teens with me and they're picky eaters so their opinions don't matter. But Diana kept them primed with soda refills and we connected with her over a few topic. I love when customer service and hospitality c9nnect with humanity and seems like she really likes what she's doing and answered questions and offered lots of recommendations! We've never dined on a rooftop patio and it was pleasantly shaded and fans provided the breeze we needed. Overall, a lovely time was had by all and our tummy were fueled enough to have fun for the rest of our adventures for the day!
Overall and great place and a super cool view. The upstairs patio has a great vibe. I ad the Double Trouble burger which was really good. I actually had to eat it with a fork because it was so full of toppings. The whole burger slid around so was very difficult to eat as a standard burger. Ton of meat on that one! I might recommend getting the snake venom on the side unless you love heat. It appears to be roaster jalapeños that are then chopped or blended. It’s sneaky hot. Really good food and burgers so would definitely go back.
Used to be good, or at least better than average, but has really gone down hill. the quality of the beef and buns had much to be desired.

without getting into too many details, I came in with my pup. Asked, and let me in. Not sure if there was confusion but management was very rude and disrespectful. Would not go back nor recommend. Pl…
