It was our first time here and all the guests were very welcoming of us, even the bartender. I'll definitely be back soon!

Awesome little bar. Make their own beer and have an awesome logo. Bought a glass from them because I liked it so much.

Like a comfy old shoe. This place just feels right whether you are there for a quick beer or a few hours. This place is filled with old and new locals. The beer selection has some regional favorites. The staff is nice.

Great local hole in the wall bar which is what we love! Genuine Dripping Springs local watering hole. They allow dogs so 5 stars all the way!!! The bartenders are always AWESOME and owner is great, too.

You'd never guess a run down looking hole in the wall way out in Dripping Springs would have such a fine selection of craft beer, but this place seriously has the best taps around. It's nothing fancy and that's just perfect. There are several TV's to watch the games and an outdoor area where a band sets up occasionally. It's a great laid back place.

Awesome atmosphere. Lots of good beer on tap. Very laid back. Locals always playing music. Mike is pretty cool too.

great little pub in the heart of Dripping Springs. (it is not that big, but very quaint). All they serve is texas craft beer. What's great is they devote one tap to their own beer. It is allways changing. They even have Bells Spring Wine on tap. They don't serve food, but i suggest the Hill Country Pizzeria because they deliver to this joint....

Personal favorite bar in Dripping Springs. Also the first bar on Mercer St. Used to be an old Barbershop, hence the name. They have a whole lot of tap beer, including some options from the brewpub next door (Acopon). Many local and craft brews on tap. A number of canned or bottled options, and some wine and cider. Wine and cider is sparse for options, they're really a beer place. Indoor seating area, and large outdoor area with a shaded pavilion. Kid friendly, live music occasionally, and a "pickers circle" weekly for local players to jam and sing together. Daily beer specials. Wi-fi. My choice for a place to meet when drinking is appropriate.

Comfortable friendly local hangout with a great selection of beers. Most places focus on local Austin beers, but there's more to choose from at Barbershop. On weekends, theres usually a group of local musicians jamming in the back. Oh, and no... You can't get your hair cut here.

Awesome, quaint place, nice people, good beer selection. Be aware they only serve beer, wine, n seltzer.

What a great place. Landed in an old Texaco gas station with an "out-back" that has outside seating and a small stage. Love the vibe and the regulars.

Friendly staff, authentic regulars, great atmosphere (that's subjective, sorry, the vibe was atmospheric and saloon esq.) Lots of license plates and paintings by local artists. Americana ephemera - old farming stuff, 50s auto relics, vintage glass, flags - and other familiar features of a well loved bar. Varied and interesting beer selection. Locally grounded and community oriented.

An awesome place to go when you just want to get out for a hill country drive and just hang out to have some beverages and listen to country music.

The perfect “hole in the wall” in the middle of nowhere. After all the wineries start closing in hill country, this is where you should end up. Rejoice with a wide beer selection, plenty of hotdog options and great vibes.

Really cute and old timey. Love the vibe and the friendly people. Great draft beer selection. Decorative museum of old school beer cans. Enjoyed live music outdoors, safely and socially distanced. Love this place!!

Local. (In a good way). That is the word to describe the barber shop. On any given night you will see a full mix of every type of local; always friendly, always welcoming. Beer and wine only with great prices. 20 beers on tab and cheap light beer cans. The taps have a good selection of local brews across all styles. The place lacks any real heat or air, bit it has never been an issue. Lastly they have a large patio for those wonderful central Texas spring days.

R
Robert Scharen

Physically a dive, but probably the nicest people you have ever met in a bar. Very good selection of beer on tap. Dogs and kids, if they are both on a leash are welcome. In the heart of Dripping Springs

This is one of our favorite places to hang out with friends and enjoy a beer on the back patio. The service is always friendly. The beer on tap is always cold. They let you taste the craft beer before you buy it, which is really nice.

Fun little beer joint with lots of atmosphere! It's a must go-to place! It was a Monday night and I had a huge can of Love Star for $3..."crap can" beer night. 🤣 We even got to listen to a 3 man jam session...guitar, mandolin, and bass! Fun evening!

This is a pretty interesting little place. Grab a beer and sit at a bench with friends. You can even order local Thai food and eat there. Order in advance though. They don't cook food here. Outside is more seating and kids are even welcome. This isn't your typical bar. You're not going to find men picking up women. You'll find families having drinks. There isn't a big selection on wine though. If you're not a beer person, you may end up just sitting with friends who are. If the wine selection was better, I'd probably be here more. 4 stars for atmosphere.

You might see the words "brewpub" listed with this place, but it is not. It is a bar in a converted horse barn (as far as I can tell). If you live in Dripping Springs you probably already know about the place. If you are passing through and it happens to be raining, then definitely show up and have a beer under the tin roof.

K
Kirsten Notaro

Real cool vibe. No AC but it wasn't horrible on a warm June Saturday. Good selection of beers and even a few wines available.

D

Like the Bartender's lot of nice people. Good selection of draft beer. Nice place to hang out side

The local beer is good but you will feel out of place if you are not a local. Also the live music was pretty bad but that really wasn't the bars fault.

Absolutely fantastic beer selection. Great staff that knows their beer. Interesting location and decor. Live music and a great food vendor. Small indoor seating but medium sized outdoor seating with a respectable stage with good lighting and sound. Outside is covered. Heaters are outside for cold nights.

Interesting place, heavy with locals. Smoking and salty language out front typically. Great beer selection otherwise.

They don't have a/c or heat make sure to dress accordingly. They only have beer but it is a great selection. The staff is friendly and always willing to suggest a beer if you aren't sure what to get. Great local beer selection as well. I would give this place 4 stars, but I always seem to go on days it is really cold or really hot and I get uncomfortable.
