Möge Tee East Village Reviews
the best boba and fresh fruit drinks around, extremely nice staff, can charge your phone and use the bathroom
Got the coconut mango and it blew my mind!! It was sweet but nothing too overpowering. The gentleman at the front I think he said he name was “Pock-“ (I’m so sorry I forgot his name) worked effectively and made it delicious.
Got the fruit with green tea and mango pomelo sago (both around $7-8). Both drinks were aesthetically-pleasing, delicious, and made quickly. The golden boba was made well and had a chewy texture without being too hard. Store was bright and clean. Definitely coming back to try other drinks on their menu; they have lots of drinks with fresh fruit.
I'm quite impressed with this location. It's near numerous bus and subway lines. Ordering is quite easy and rather straightforward from the kiosk. The Cheese Foam Mountain Green Tea was reminiscent to bodh-cha (Tibetan buttered tea). The only difference was that it was lighter in body and iced rather than served hot. It's a fine treat to have on a summer day.
This is one of my favourite bubble tea places. I usually go to the one in flushing, but recently discovered that they opened a location in the east village. So much more convenient. Shown below is the dragonfruit tea with cheese foam. This cheese foam is delicious, it’s like a liquid cheesecake. Everything one the menu is really good, the only thing that isn’t good is the white bubble., but that is just a topping do no big deal.
Love the dirty taro milk tea! Not overly sweet at all and went well with the boba and the tea itself. The fresh black grape tea was refreshing! Can’t adjust its sweetness level to be below 30% sugar but that was just right. Can still taste the tea which means they’re serious about their tea! Did also try a foam tea but was less impressed. Will go back for other items for sure though!
Would recommend their fruit teas and milk tea drinks. Ordered numerous times before and drinks were rather good. Would not recommend getting any warm drinks with coconut milk. Ordered a brown sugar boba milk with coconut milk as replacement and it was not good. I've since been made aware coconut milk may develop a weird taste when heated, so just something to keep in mind. Service can be quite slow as there are not many people working behind the counter. Environment is nice though.
A fun and aesthetic place to drink cheese tea! My friend and I both got matcha with the cheese topping, and it was quite delicious - the matcha was a strangely good complement to the cheese! A savory and sweet experience that is marred only the the steep price: why do we keep shelling out $11 for two drinks?!
Paid $10 for legitimately the worst bubble tea I've ever had in my life. The milk tea was extremely watery and flavorless. The bubbles were unsweetened and soggy. There are plenty of other options nearby.
