Peking Kitchen El Paso Reviews
The garlic chicken & lo mein were delicious! The server was knowledgeable and very friendly. Thank you!
This was the best experience in El Paso ever. They handled my autistic toddler with patience and kindness, they provided a quick and exemplary service. The workers were all friendly and the food was absolutely fresh and delicious 🤤 😋, they deserve more hype!!
I love coming here for lunch! They always have good specials that are tasty and affordable. It is your classic Chinese-American style place. Pretty clean despite being busy all the time. My favorite is the sweet and sour pork, with egg drop soup. I recommend it for a nice quick sit-down lunch.
Amazing service and great specials. I work close by and wanted to give them a try. Great portions for the price. I was looking for some comforting Chinese food and this hit the spot. Soup and egg roll came with the lunch special on a Sunday. I even ordered my husband some food to go. I will definitely be back for lunch. Side note: It was a Sunday and a game was on TV.
Great service, large portions of food, we ordered 4 different plates and they charged us for 5. It took an hour to get our order, slow on drink refills..
Peking Kitchen is a good place to go to for Chinese food. The server was very attentive, kind and checked on us a few times to ask if we needed anything. The chairs are a little too close between tables and we had to move after we had orders our drinks because the other patrons chairs were against our chairs. This was a little inconvenient.
Place was busy for lunch. I got the general tsos chicken, and it was great. Price is amazing for the amount of food, and was super greasy or oily. not to sweet, and could have been spicier. Service was kinda rude, but its whatever. and the floor was incredibly sticky. Seems like a perfect spot for takeout or when craving American Chinese food.
I have a hard time rating this place, due to conflicting feelings as a reviewer. I love to come hang out here, and work, because I can get a decent meal in a relaxed atmosphere, but there are issues. The staff are very friendly and pleasant, creating an extremely welcoming and warm environment, that's why I love to come and sit for a bit. That said, the place is ugly, inside and out. It's in an ancient strip center that has seen better days. The interior of the restaurant isn't bad as long as you don't look too close. There are cracks in the walls, it desperately needs some repairs, a fresh coat of paint, ceiling tiles replaced, and don't get me started on the bathroom. The whole place just feels neglected. The restaurant is generally clean, so no complaints there, though sometimes service isn't as good as it should be. Several times I've had to ask more than once for condiments, or part of my order was missing. Not normally a huge issue, but I happens enough that it's annoying, and it's hard to say that when I like the front of house crew. Here's the rub, it's not a bad place for a decent Chinese meal, as long as you can ignore the appearance. The staff will treat you well, but be prepared to potentially have to ask more than once for things.
The food looked good and tasted very flavored my only problem is why advertise to soldiers that delivery is free around Fort Bliss and then it's not . Please don't do that no need to lie to us american soldiers. That's probably the only thing that id say sucks about this place and the egg rolls taste horrible by far the worst egg rolls I've ever had . Very damp and soggy. But over the duck and the orange chicken have a good taste . But I wouldn't go back just because they lie.
We tried to do the free delivery but when we called to place the order they said they didn't have a driver. I've seen flyers for this place everywhere and wanted to try it. Wasn't the worst but I wouldn't go again either. It was a good deal for the food just underwhelming. Not sure if we just caught them at a bad time or if it's always that way. I had really looked forward to it so maybe my expectations were too high. They said the little chip things were ragoons which didn't make sense to me but maybe I got confused.
The 2 hostesses at the front were very friendly. There's a mistake with my order and they immediately went to the kitchen and made it right. The customer service was great, however, we were not impressed with the food at all. The vegetables clearly tasted frozen, the beef in the lo mein and fried rice was chewy and grisly, and the fried wings had zero flavor. Simply unseasoned chicken wings dropped into hot grease. No plans to go back. 2 stars for the good service but the food was definitely lacking.
Food was horrible service really good Hot and sour soup had a bad taste and chicken and shrimp were under cooked
Online ordering system is misleading, I select general tso's combo the details state it comes with soup, fried rice, egg roll. I only received the chicken. I called and the worker explained that since I got a side of noodles the system automatically adjusted my order. Then tells me I was only charged about $12 when bank note say $32. Then say to ask the delivery company that they run through but the company just directs me to the restaurant
Three times I’ve ordered here. Three times they have forgotten the soup, the egg roll, and given me white rice instead of fried. The general tsos is nothing but candy corn syrup sauce. The egg rolls were still frozen in the middle. Do not order here
