Perfectly placed coffee stand for a quick caffeine fix. Iced tres leche latte with an extra shot was perfect!
I really enjoyed their drinks. I would totally recommend the Oaxaca mocha and Tres Leches latte. I love coming by here before I go to work. There’s always some warm welcomes and good coffee.
I had Très Lèches Latte since it was their special and it was so good. I would usually have espresso because I’m not very much of a fan of rich, creamy and sweet coffees but I’m glad that I tried this one. It was so good; rich and creamy but just right. Totally recommended
An excellent shot of espresso here
came here once my barista was jasmin was supper nice nd friendly will come again
Best Hot Matcha Latte I've ever had. Nice fast service too.

Overpriced coffee stand with bottled drinks, decent coffee, pastries, and prepackaged snacks. I had the Oaxaca Mocha, which was $6.75 before tax + tip. It was pretty good, but had a lot of ice, so I recommend asking for light ice. The menu indicated that it contains nuts, and the barista explained that they put ground peanuts in the drink. I waited about four minutes. It was an interesting drink. The prices were high, but expected for a tourist spot.
Tried the special, tres leche latte iced and it was yummy 😋

My Wife and I stopped by Balboa park on a whim and stumbled upon the Coffee Stand. We got in line people seemed nice to the people in front of us but there demeanors changed when my wife and I walked up not sure what that’s all about…? Hence the 3 stars just because it was a weird encounter. Ok now for the actual Beverages the Mocha Latte was amazing! Also my wife mentioned her Matcha Latte was amazing! That’s my story and I am sticking to it…

Walking around balboa and came to this coffee shop, the coffee was delicious and tasted great. Service could’ve been better due to this girl on register being too distracted on her phone and didn’t welcome us until the boy with glasses welcomed us with a smile as she quickly but her phone away. I ordered a cappuccino and a unique type of mocha for my wife. I love and appreciated the effort put into our drinks as he attempted to do some art on the cappuccino.
It’s ok. The coffee can be pretty good here. They have pastries and lemonade as well. It’s Balboa Park though, which means that it’s a bit overpriced and just kind of middle-of-the-road. Worth stopping by if you’re already in the park, but I’d recommend going to a spot in Banker’s Hill beforehand, either WestBean or Cafe Bassam.

Decent coffee at a fair price, but the customer service could use some work. The staff seemed indifferent, making the experience less enjoyable. Worth a stop if you’re not expecting much beyond the coffee.

Super disappointing customer service. The girl working acted like we were such a burden on her. Asked her questions about the different pastries and you could tell she just wanted us to go away so she could get back to her phone. If you’re going to work in customer service, learn how to.
October 2021: Pretty expensive drinks here, and you will probably need to stand in a long line of masked tourists to buy a bai for $5. Also difficult to access in a wheelchair.
They are terrible I ordered a tres leche latte and got a regular two percent oatmilk latte after waiting for a long time. Will never return
Waited in line for 10 minutes for only for them tell me the people in front of me were last customer. She was so rude and condescending about it to which made it even worse, I left feeling really mistreated. Thr girls that work there should really learn how to treat people with kindness. It takes no effort to be nice to someone.
Person working didnt open his mouth. Have been here before always good service. Weird vibe like employees didn't want to be there. No straws. 8/17/22 Tried again Ordered an Ice Mocha “Still no straws “🤔
Possibly the worst cold brew coffee I've ever had, drinking it made me physically ill.
Cash only in Balboa Park? That's disappointing. Jonny, who does the chalk art on their sign, is the only cool thing about the Perk in my opinion. Every barista who has served me has been uninterested, and always seems to have something better to do - texting, chatting with friends, etc. It's unfortunate that this coffee cart has pushed out better options because of its relationship to The Prado restaurant.
