I love getting my sushi and rolls here. I'm usually in a rush and they're very accommodating and work quickly. I got the CHERRY BLOSSOM and the DRAGON ROLL. (I started eating it and then remembered to take a pic.) I love how the flavors are clean, fresh, good portions, pretty and neatly made, and the rolls I chose are not overly doused in sweet sauces like some places do. This DRAGON ROLL is so good! It's been in my takeout container for 45 min before I had a chance to eat it and I'm pleasantly surprised that the shrimp tempura & veggies are still crunchy! I noticed that they make the food as orders are purchased, hence the freshness! Some people say the prices are high but that is the cost of food materials, business rent, a kitchen, paying several employees north of minimum wage, and having enough to live off these days. For the food and service, the price is normal and then tip on top of that. The people working here are always nice and hardworking too :)

This was my 5th or 6th time at Narusushi. Each time has been fantastic and Ive been meaning to review for a while. First, the place is just amazing. I really enjoyed everything. The place is clean and the retailers are very welcoming. Decently fast service, and a casual restaurant with a good selection of Japanese style food. I think some of the best sushi around. Fresh fish. Great flavors. The atmosphere was great and the food was truly amazing. I will definitely be coming back again, mark my words Narusushi!!

The chefs' attention to detail and use of high-quality ingredients truly set this place apart. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Naru Sushi to anyone looking for an exceptional sushi experience! I almost gooned when eating the food.

I wanted to grab some lunch and charge my car at the same time and decided to head over and get some sushi. They have a wide variety of sushi and they also serve beer and saki. I purchased two delicious sushi rolls but my total came out to $45 (gotta tip). Other than the high prices, this place is worth it.

Sushi stall in the Emeryville Public Market. Was really disappointed with the price and quality. $29 (with tax) for 9 small pieces of sashimi on a paper plate, and the salmon was fishy tasting. Not a great experience.

Ordered the spicy California roll, and because I tipped below 20% (given that they don’t wait on you — they hand you a tray of food) they gave me the wrong order and insisted it was correct. It was the plain California roll. I’ve ordered the spicy California roll several times, this wasn’t it. I told them the taste and color were wrong, they insisted it was spicy knowing well enough that it wasn’t. Also, the woman at the front spent the majority of our time there on her phone. Don’t eat here.

I’d give it a zero if I could the lady pictured in the review below mine is so rude and almost made me not complete my order but I was craving a miso soup and roll combo didn’t leave a tip obviously but had to see what reviews were looking like to confirm it wasn’t just me - the owners are doing a disservice to the business by employing her
I had high hopes for this spot but left disappointed. First of all it’s located inside the public market space and like all its neighbors it competes for our business. Public market has a fairly large dinning area and when seems busy most of the time. The sushi station is small in size and easy to miss. With such small overhead I would expect lower prices or much bigger portions. But the sushi rolls are priced HIGH and two specialty rolls will run you north of $40. The quality of sushi was good but I ended up with small pieces of CLEAR PLASTIC in my food and that is just not cool. Service was good and the lady at the register was very helpful.

The beef Donburi was absolutely trash everything was over cooked and mushy the eggs on top of the food looked like seemed scrambled eggs the where grey it was an absolute disaster
