King of Kebab

Easily the best gyro I've ever had. Meat seasoned perfectly, the whole thing was super saucy and the lavash was fresh. Even the side salad was delicious. Oh and in this economy those prices are hard to beat.

This friendly little dive has delicious food! We had our dog so sat outside where it was perfectly comfortable on a windy day. We started with the baba ganoush (eggplant dip) which was just the right amount of smokiness. And the bread was fresh. The schwarma rice plate with perfectly seasoned and cooked; it came with plentiful rice and a small salad with creamy dressing (honey dijon?). The "KEFTA MELT" was a stand-out, where you could taste the ground lamb (mixed with beef) and the melted cheese put it over the top for flavor. The housemade hot sauce was SO good, not too spicy. Their baklava was perfect, too, moist and fresh. The service was friendly and efficient. King of Kabab Kahled and the other cook checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. Most people were coming in for takeout orders, maybe because the inside dining space was small. Highly recommend for reasonably-priced, authentic to-go orders and casual outdoor dining with pets.

It’s a small establish but the food was fantastic. I had chicken kebabs, rice and hummus. Berkeley does have a good amount of wonderful places to eat and this one was really great. I’m glad I came here to eat and cannot wait to go again.

Delicious kabab plates with a lovely showcase of desserts. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and their lamb is well worth it. They don't have much seating space (2 2-person tables) and a restroom that's well-maintained. All the meals are served in to go containers with fast preparation!

Hella yummy halal Jordanian food from Chef Khaled. The hummus is so creamy and olive oil is like liquid gold. The pita bread is on the thinner side. The lamb and beef kofta is to die for, plus dat green sauce mm! I couldn't stop salivating over the seasoned rice. Do yourself a favor and get some Jordanian food from King of Kabab. Maybe get Turkish delight on display if you're feeling a sweet treat. Lovely gents making this yummy food! Will be back.

Decent Mediterranean food and good portions. Chicken shawarma was good but ended up a bit soggy after the drive home. There’s a couple short term street parking spots outside. Patio in the back available for outdoor dining. Overall quality of food was average but friendly service!

Stopped by on my way home and found a great find that I hope to enjoy for years to come. Aside from exceptionally reasonable prices (most places charge at least a couple bucks more), the flavors here are vibrant and wonderful. Looking forward to try the Gyros here. Rice is especially delicious. If you are hungry, stop by King of Kebabs today! You will not regret. I forgot my Turkish Delight 😢 but I will post pictures of next time!

The team members of this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious, there are plenty of vegetarian options. I had the Meza plate and it was excellent and a generous portion. The baklava amazing as well. Totally recommended

King of Kebab is up there with the best! If you like kebab plates and wraps, this is a must try. -Lamb&Beef Wrap was hefty, not too much meat and not too much filling. The perfect combo. The wrap was a little bit salty but no other complaints and my salt radar is usually sensitive. - Baklava was really good as well

Overall, when you’re hungry and want this genre of food it gets the job done.
