One of our favorite sushi in our beautiful town Encinitas. It is located in the shopping plaza and we love going there . Our favorites are Homi, Bruce Lee, Mexican gone wild, their lunch specials and bento boxes are also fabulous… many many more, try and you won’t regret.

Lunch special is a great deal. Lots of good food options with big portions. I sat here for a few hours working and everyone was very nice about it. Would definitely go back!

I’ve been to the one in Encinitas multiple times and its always a great vibe. The food is always great and fresh. If you go during lunch you cant go wrong with the lunch special bento box. The best food portion for your buck. The service is always on point, very quick to help and friendly. The atmosphere is always a great vibe they always have great music playing. Cant forget about the refreshing drinks Cheers!

The avocado rolls are actually decently sized which is pretty rare! For some reason typically they are so small🥲 but here they are an actual meal size

Their lunch special is DIVINE. Great value. You’ll leave full and with leftovers! Every time I come here I am seated and served quickly. The food is also consistent! I feel like if I closed my eyes I’d believe I was having sushi from a 5-star restaurant. But it’s a casual comfortable place that’s family friendly. Win-win! They also present their rolls beautifully. I am so happy I found this gem!

This is now our favorite sushi place! We ordered edamame and tempura veggies for starters. For main course we ordered the Crunchy Roll, Spider Roll and Samurai Roll. They all tested great, our favorite was the Crunchy roll. Overall food is tasty and the restuarant is clean and staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

Such a great experience every time at this location. I’m always impressed with how well-staffed they are, even during busy hours. We brought our baby boy with us, and at one point -while the place was packed- he tossed a chopstick on the floor and out of nowhere a smiling server was already there to help. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. And then there’s the fish—always fresh, flavorful, and consistently top-notch. This has become our local go-to spot because we know the quality is always going to be excellent, whether it’s sushi night with friends or a quick date night. Highly recommend to anyone who values great service and even better sushi 🍣👌☺️

They are back to excellent customer service!! My husband and I had given up on their early door closing and snappy responses to special roll requests, but I just finished with a to go order and Jimena was so helpful and had me actually believe I wasn't bothering her by calling. When I picked up the order, both she and Lenore were smiling and receptive. I can't wait to go back in to sit down to a once distant enjoyable dining experience! I can now recommend visiting the Encinitas store 100% ❤️

Great food at relatively affordable prices but not so great service. For example, the recycling code on the lids and clamshells are 4s and 6s, which means even if you put them in your blue bins, they'll end up in a landfill. Also, there is no option to NOT get a bunch of extra plastic in the takeout bag. Even when I call in an order and specifically ask them NOT to include soy sauce, ginger, chopsticks, etc. they always include it.

Very average food, but the way they have to rush your entire order out before you even get the appetizer is bizarre. Every single time I come here, they rush the orders out so fast it seems like they might be prepared and not made to order. They don't even let you finish your miso soup and edamame and are already bringing the entire meal out. Just totally bizarre. Unagi was slimy and didn't get cooked right... Shrimp tempura was not cleaned and you could see a big vein of poop. I have come here many times because it's nearby and convenient, but for the prices the quality and service should be better than they are currently providing.

I’ve ordered it before and every time that I’ve ordered it. It comes with jalapeños, but there’s sliced on top of the sushi. Roll on each individual piece of the sushi rolls. I go get my order halfway down the road, I started eating And I realized that instead of the sliced on top, they were chopped into little pieces all inside the roll, the role is basically in edible so I called the restaurant and the girl on the phone was super rude and essentially told me that her man is not available to speak to me, but she’s available to talk to me. Tell her what’s going on and she said the role is spicy. I let her know I understand that it’s a spicy roll. I’ve gotten it several times before, and the jalapeños are all always sliced on top of each individual piece of the sushi. They’re never chopped up into little pieces inside like a bunch of them. I let her know that the role is an edible had to spit out. One of the pieces was way too spicy. She tells me she doesn’t know what she’s gonna do that. There’s nothing she can do that. She doesn’t know what to tell me. She tells me that I’m wrong basically gaslight me. And then proceeds to tell me that her manager is way too busy to speak to me. I then asked if she could remake the role and she scoffed at me and told me that’s not gonna happen. I tell her I’d still like to speak to the manager anyway, and she proceeds to put me on a third hold. I will never be coming back here again, which sucks because this is like my favorite restaurant whenever I go to visit family I always come through here and order. Hooked on sushi I highly suggest you train your staff better or better yet get your orders correct. I should also note that I asked for no jalapeños to begin with, and they still put them on there even though I asked for no jalapeños, and it doesn’t even show on the receipt so whoever took my order, didn’t even put it on there that I asked for no jalapeños. And like that’s not even a big deal but the fact that a staff member has to yell at you and is absolutely rude is not acceptable

Was very excited to eat here but unfortunately will probably never place another order. We waited for over an hour for our food only to be told that it was cancelled. No reason or remorse was given. Be cautious and prepared to wait.
