The staff was nice, took my order without any Hassel. I was thru the drive thru so fast. The biggest thing was even tho it was quick the food was nice and fresh plus the staff were so efficient I was blown away.

The food was on par, but the service and cleanliness of the restaurant inside was exceptional. I ended up eating there twice in one week lol

A remarkable experience. Drove up and were greeted promptly, being given instruction to order when ready. Got the amount, drove up, paid, recieved our order and drove off. When we parked to eat we found plenty of our requested sauces and my roast beef with arbys and horsey sauces was delicious and perfectly satisfying.

Don't we all miss the days of Onion Petals??? Don't care what Jon Stewart says, I love Arby's. I have always received pleasant service. I enjoy their food and think their prices are very reasonable.

This is our favorite Arby's. Be sure to say "Hi" to Karina... she's a real sweetheart. There are so many delicious sandwiches on the menu...the French Dip and Swiss is probably my favorite. The gyros are really good, we prefer the beef or turkey. The Turkey sandwich is another good choice. Check their limited time specials, right now the Bacon Brisket Beef 'n Cheddar is a winner. Save room for a shake... chocolate or the special mint are excellent. The Salted Caramel Cookie is awesome too 😁

Nothing like a Beef and Cheddar, except 2 for $6 and having them switch out the onion bun for a sesame bun! Only wish so many hadn't closed in the last 10 yrs in S.D. and 2 in just this past year La Mesa & even the always busy Mission Gorge location 😥

This Arby's is a great choice for fast-food in the central Escondido area. The staff was courteous, prompt & efficient. I often avoid eating at fast-food chains because of their bad reputations. I have never had a negative experience at any of the Arby's locations I have visited, and this particular one is better than most. It is clean and well kept, the employees are more mature than other restaurants such as the ones with the golden "M" and the ones that consider themselves burger royalty. I never once considered whether or not my food had been "messed with" for some underpaid, underappreciated, teenager's enjoyment.. as is often the case when I go to the "other" fast-food places (that is a large part of the reason that I avoid fast-food). Instead, I feel very safe eating from this Arby's. To top it off, the deive-thru window operator spoke great English and they got my (rather large) order right- on the first attempt! Prices are decent and I would definitely recommend this Arby's location to any fan of roast-beef, or fast-food in general. :-)

I usually always enjoy Arby's. I ate the turkey bacon wrap with mozz and iced tea. I always get the peppercorn ranch. It is delicious and gives great flavor to everything.

I had the two for $6 deal. Roast beef and classic chicken sandwiches. Served with a friendly smile and a "thank you" that you just don't get all that often these days. She even remembered my name as I left... great job Arbys Escondido!

Very friendly great food clean place and restrooms which is a very big plus for us with three kids it's something I pay attention for sure. The gentleman who took our order was patient and helpful as well as making up for the fact they didn't have cheese sticks which from there are actually pretty good. They were out and he willing subbed the new Oreo bites.(Not our favorite) but the gesture was good and with the kids well received. We'll be back.

We love Arby's ❤️ there is nothing quite like it. Not only do they have the best roast beef sandwiches they also have amazing milkshakes. Go ahead and treat yourself! Pro Tip: go ahead and get the double roast beef and share with your doggie. Hands down, their roast beef is my dogs favorite treat. Seriously wish you could just buy roast beef by the pound. I would have a freezer full.

I really like this Arby's. Nia was very kind, professional, and bubbly! I always incorporate this Arby's in my days events when I am in Escondido. Their potato cakes are generally the bomb and usually hot and fresh. It must have been a bad batch because they weren't that good this time. They were hot but stale! We still ate them because come on, guys, they are POTATO CAKES!!!!

This place is outstanding with service and cleanliness. I'm in and out of there within 3 minutes, which gives me time to eat on a half hour lunch break. Plus, the food is healthier than a greasy burger.

Food is great! Quite a variety of choices. Staff that night seemed a little less friendly than usual, maybe because of the later hour I visited, 9pm. No excuse though. In a service business facing the public, you either like it and enjoy it, or push a broom at a college at night. My two cents..

The closing/night team here is amazing. After leaving work late at night there are few options open later than 10pm. We pulled in 30 minutes before closing (which we usually try to avoid doing) to an amazing reception. The staff were welcoming and I could tell they still put a perfect amount of effort into making the food. And they asked if I wanted any sauces which is great because I always forget. All of it was really appreciated. Thank you!

We stopped by Arby’s for lunch for the first time and had trouble using our coupon. Nia, the general manager, was extremely patient and truly did her best to help us. This restaurant was very nice and atmosphere when I came in. I was kind of surprised! It was pretty cute with its decor. I got a chance to interact with the manager and he was super friendly and very helpful since I haven't been to an Arby's since I was a kid. Basically. My food was good, I had the brisket sandwich. My only thing I would say is it was extremely greasy, but brisket is a very fatty meat so I'm not entirely surprised. My fries were really fresh and hot and delicious! Overall a pleasant stop

I always love coming to this Arby's, all of the employees are a super friendly and the food is a hit. I often hear that people dont like abrys but have never been there and once I make someone try it they almost always enjoy it. I wish the rope beef hat would come back in stock. All in all Arby's has the meats and they do it right. Don't hesitate to try out the gyro as well it is surprising good. TLDR Food - is absolutely fantastic Service - is wonderful and employees are helpful and nice Atmosphere - is solid with great smells

I’ve been to this particular Arby’s on several occasions, and just never got around to writing them the great review they deserved. Today that changes. I wanted to try their new fish sandwich on King’s Hawaiian buns. It had everything you could want on it, and I had a party in my mouth as I sunk my teeth into that bad baby. Oh my gravy it was delish!!! The wonderful woman at the drive-thru window was a fantastic spokesperson for the outlet. She told me the difference between their different fish sandwiches and was so friendly you’d want to invite her out for a cup of coffee. A real people person who clearly loves her job. I hope you get Mary Anne (or is it Mia like on the receipt?) at the window or counter when you go in. Ya gotta go and try this sandwich! Best one I’ve ever had. Not kidding. Best!

Food hot, service super friendly, atmosphere was pretty empty and slow. I like when there's hardly anyone there. I would work out the smell in the front of the store, or at least put up a notice since there is a sewer out front.

This is a new Arby's. Lots of dark wood and a red tone. Comfy seats. Oh and it's an ARBY'S so you can eat Arby's there. I had a "Big Kahuna" sandwich. It was filling, with 3 meats. So if you're in the neighborhood and haven't had Arby's in awhile, stop in.

I always enjoy their food items, look for the 'specials' and the 'Limited Time Only' menu items. (Ring the Bell to show your satisfaction)

I love me some Arby's. The location is a little tough to get to depending on what size of the road you're on. The service is pretty good everytime I've visited this location and the food is great. If you're in the mood for a classic roast beef or french dip sandwich then I recommend stopping by.

Always hot and fast. They get a little carried away about the sauces. If I'm spending $20, I don't want to be argued with about needing to charge me .35 cents for a BBQ sauce, it makes me not want to come back.

My last experience with Arby's was about 3 years ago out of town. I didn't have a pleasant dinning experience. The Arby's in Escondido was better than I expected. Unfortunately, we could not dine inside.

The cheaper Chick-fil-A, yet with more food to choose from, and with similar quality. A little honey mustard on the chicken sandwiches goes a long way. One of their many BBQ sauces will always go good with any of their steak or pork options.

This is what fast food should taste like. Arby’s sets the bar high for it’s competitors. Of course the price is higher too. The cheddar roast beef and jalapeño slider was okay, but nothing to rave about. The curly fries on the other hand were delicious, much better than Jack In The Box! The prize meal here however, was the brisket sandwich that I honestly enjoyed every savory bite! Worth the $7 bucks.

The food at this Arby's seems freshly made. Almost every time I've been here, the fries have been hot and crispy! The servers are almost always very friendly. There is rarely a line at the drive-thru! Free parking on site!

First want to start off by saying the staff were great and friendly. I love the roast beef sandwiches. The problem I have is that it is quite expensive compared to other options and there were no deals. I downloaded and used their App, which was a little savings for first time use, but the app is not very good either. Arby's has a great product, but not cost friendly. I was there for 20 to 25 minutes and was the only customer. It should make the chain think about things when they have a clean store, great staff and product, but no business. What is the problem?

I rarely eat or like fast-food but got all excited when I got EBT and it came with a paper that listed FF joints in SD that take EBT, Escondido Arbys being one of them. I Googled it to make sure, Google listed it as well but when I got there the worker informed me that they do not. It was upsetting not just cause my bf n I had just walked there in the heat n I got my taste buds all ready for it but the looks n snickering from the workers n manager was unnecessary. I still like the food but not the workers..

The service was okay. The person at the register might have been having a bad day. There was no thank you or anything. The food portion seems small especially for the price. They need to offer more deals or something.

Not good not bad. I typically have no complaints but the last time we went there, the food wasn't the best. Most of it was good but a couple things, including the fries, were burnt and couldn't eat them. Overall it's a pretty good place.

The last couple of visits they make you feel like you are putting them out To be there ordering. We had one occasion where we were charged But it was for somebody else's order through the drive through and got charged again until the other charge was reversed on our bank account whichtookafewdays. And then they made us park in the front and wait for our food, which was missing a couple of items, then when we got home, the bread was ripped on 2 of the double Roast beef sandwiches. 14.99 for a Beef & Chedder meal. No cheddar on my sandwich. Told the front guy & he gave me an x small bowl of dried velvita. Couldn't get it out of bowl, had to use a straw to scoop what I could. Mgr. didn't make it right. Place was clean & quiet!!

The three stars is for the staff. I eat here often and it is what it is. Today I had one of their burgers. Stock to roast beef!! This thing was burnt on the outside and undercooked inside. It was tasteless, more taste in a big Mac. Potato cakes are always a winner though.

Crinkle cut fries, I am digging the vibe. My son would say the highlight of an Arby's is their Jamocha shakes though. The staff is quite friendly, and the food is decent; I personally am not a fan of the food here, but others I know eat here from time to time give them a thumbs up.

It had been several years since I had eaten at an Arby's. I always like their Beef & Cheddar sandwich and I remember loading up on them at a great price years ago. Now a regular one is $8, a large $10 and a giant one $11+ or so! I bought a large one, no fries and a small (10 oz? ) regular drink for $4. So with the tax it was over $15. Not a good value, especially with the puny sized drink that only cost them a few cents to make. Clean bathrooms, decent seating area, pleasant employees. My advice is find a different Arby's or drink water here. Not a good value compared to other fast food joints.

I have been to this Arby's about 6 times since moving to this location. On two occasions at the Drive Thru and once going inside I have had food missing from my order and had to return. Now I check before I leave the area. The food quality is good, but the shortest wait time I have had is 15 minutes. It is usually more like 20 to 30 minutes. Not a bad place, just check your order and be prepared to wait.

The curly fries from this location are ALWAYS cold and rubbery. If you do unfortunately find yourself at this location just get the regular fries.

Well, I really wanted to like this Arby's after all the good experiences I've had at the Arby's on Clairemont Mesa. Two of the employees might have been brand new...evidenced by the fact that my gyro was not wrapped properly. It literally fell out of the wrapper as I took it out of the bag. So now I have food all over my pants, in my purse and on the floor. Definitely was not happy. There were other issues as well so don't think I'll be back to this Arby's.

Always a great sandwich and courteous service but this time the sound system was severely broken and eminating a loud noise combined with the music track over every table. Asked staff and manager to see if they could turn it off or down and were told they can't do it without permission. They did nothing about it. Had to get out of there fast! Sad.

2 only because I loved the shake. Ordered a large fry for shake dipping only & got cold & not so curly bits of fries. The beef & cheddar wasn't what I remembered as the beef was REALLY chewy. Like slightly what? Over cooked? I don't know, but we won't be going back for anything but that shake!

Arby's was our favorite fast food in the 80's. The menu was simple, the roast beef was medium rare and succulent, and the price of their food meant that my single mom could feed herself and her four kids. I opened the app yesterday to see what they had on special and believe it or not, Five for $5 was back! The app is easy to use When I arrived, the employee I spoke to was friendly and nice. The menu board showed the pink roast beef that we all love! But it was all lies... The roast beef is gross, and the buns have a weird aftertaste. My children love these sandwiches, but I remember what the quality was like before they expanded the menu. Arby's is not a good choice when you want something yummy to eat.

After every word I said the drive through lady would cut me off and repeat it. With me saying that you would think they would get the order right but no. They gave me a piece of a cold chicken tender between a roll slit in half instead of a kids turkey sandwich. My daughter was pretty upset about it so I called back to let them know they got the order wrong and talk to the manager. IT DID NOTHING. The manager did the same thing and cut me off after every word and kept repeating the same thing. I just got frustrated and hung up. Totally not worth it.

I ordered 2 buffalo chicken sandwiches they were horrible. The chicken so dry and old. 3 orders of curly fries they were burn old and stale.

Tried the new "prime rib" cheesesteak sandwich. GROSS. The cheese overpowered everything. Spiral fries were cold and hard. Last 7 bucks Arby's will get from me. Yuck

Kept me waiting at drive up order box for 5 minutes before even took my order. Finally have order - then had me pull to parking spot for another 5 minutes. Baby hungry and cruing. Lame store!!!

If you're coming here at night, be sure to ask for a fresh order of anything fried because they will give you old reheated fries, hash browns and chicken strips. I usually like Arby's but this one just gives them a bad name.

I eat at Arby's at least two times a month. My favorite is the roast beef. Last night I ordered six classic sandwiches that normally taste like they come out of the oven but instead were cold like they came right out of the refrigerator. Thank you Arby's for a cold dinner. 🍽️

I love Arby's, but haven't been back, since visiting this location. The roast beef was dry and seemed stale, my potato cakes were mush and dripped oil. Unedible. 😐 Update: Tried one more time and again stale! Curly fries dried out and cold, classic Arby's,"s tasted like it was made the day prior. AVOID THIS LOCATION IF YOU EXPECT FRESH!

This place is horrible. Our sandwiches were hot messes. I got a stomach ache. Thank goodness I didn’t get food poisoning. My wife felt the same way. We know it’s fast food but COME ON!. If we could give no stars we would. Stay away if you are reading this

Let me start off by saying I never write reviews! But this circumstance I feel it's necessary for other people to know. When I got here there were three cars in front of me by the time I got to the drive-thru window it had been 25 minutes. When I get to the window I don't get an apology all I get was my total for the food. Any other place that I have been to that I have waited for anytime in line I get a huge apology I don't expect anything free free food free drinks a gift card. But I do expect a little respect especially if you're in customer service! After I got home the sandwich was decent a bit greasy but the part that bothered me the most was that I found three pieces of bone in my sandwich. Extremely terrible customer service as well as bones in your food so make sure that you chew thoroughly and make sure you don't swallow any. If you want to go to an Arby's with extremely wonderful customer service go to the one in Temecula off of Jefferson.

Went to this location ordered from drive through, woman who took my order didn't sound like she wanted to be there. I ordered the Jalapeno bites and turkey sandwich. When we got to the window, Daniela was rude & we didn't even get napkins or the right sauce for the Jalapeno bites. We didn't realize this until we were almost home.

Everything overpriced and not worth it. Had to pay 50¢ extra for some jalapeno slivers on my $10 sandwich and they only put like 3 or 4. Arby's used to be the bomb and have good prices/good deals but now their just like almost everywhere else. Greed won't pay off in the long run.

Every time I go to this drive thru location there are issues with the service. This was no exception. They forgot to give me part of my order. I had to go back and get it so that our food was cold when we finally got to eat it. The team there needs to have more attention to detail and sense of urgency. It will be quite awhile before I go back to them again.

Nia the assistant manager needs to work on her customer service skills. A smile would be highly appreciated when servicing the customers Switching from a soda drink to a lemonade juice before checking out is the order is a simple change I don’t know why she got annoyed while making the change

Long wait at the drive thru. I wasn't finished ordering and the lady says "thank you can you pull up to the window" i ordered a side of fries and they charged me but they never gave me them. Then she says "Thanks, Have a good day" and i had to remind her to give me my drink.

They get the orders wrong every single time!!! It doesn't matter if you order one item or 10, it's always incorrect. I have to check my bag every single time I leave. Oh and they can't count. 8pc jalapeños and they only give you 5. And 5 is not even on the menu it's either 3 or 8.. Will not return here ever again.

Arby's claims they have the meats. They might but their overpriced sandwiches do not. The deep fried turkey sandwich was very skimpy and not the same quality as previous years. Another case of up the price and use the ultra-processed fake stuff. And I noticed their mystery meat "roast beef" classic is $6 now. I remember those were 5 for $5, then 5 for $6 then 2 for $6. No wonder the place sits empty most of the day.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: Either make your food resemble the photos or change the photos to look like what you serve. Then you won't get a review like this. DISGRACEFUL. Arby's website Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich. Over $10! Arby's claims 7.28 oz. sandwich with 29 grams of fat. My sandwich looked horrible. My meat had a weight, including the fat of 2.41 ounces, the fat weight was 0.43 oz. That's 17.8% fat! There was no resemblance to the Arby's photos. This amounts to consumer fraud. Please see the photos.
