Clean, festive, and welcoming establishment. As if going to a friends home for a celebration. The staff were professional, accommodating, and kind, both on the phone and in person. I was concerned that the family meal I purchased might not be enough to feed my hungry bears, that thought ran scared from the heft of the bag of food I lifted. The drive home, my mouth watered at the aromas wafting from my warm bag of food. Large containers of creamy refried beans, the most perfectly prepared rice with distinct taste of fresh tomatoes, chips were delicious, especially with the obviously homemade salsa, bursting with lingering flavor, the main was a salsa verde pork with potatoes. My guys devoured it. I am of the non-meat eating varietal, but I did try a potato with the sauce, it was good. I also stray from enriched wheat, so treated myself to their corn tortillas to Southern style sop the plate... I recommend Esmeraldas 2.0, top notch people with delicious food made with love.

Superseded my high expectations. The flavors are authentic and dishes executed with talent. My meal was actually pretty before I got into it (I took a pic after a few bites when I realized I want to hype these guys up!) And the prices are crazy considering the quality!

Unexpectedly found this place while passing through Eureka and it was so delicious. Tried the enchiladas, tacos, horchata, and chips and salsa... and everything was good. Good seafood and vegetarian options available. Friendly staff

After seeing their ads on youtube, I had to make sure those quesabirria tacos had that drip when I dipped. I am happy to report that they are in fact drippy drippy. I also got an horchata and a raspberry lemonade and my god were they good. The place is also set up really nicely and the music is great!! :D

We love Esmeralda’s!! We have gotten so many delicious meals here, most recently, the Birra tacos! They were dripping in flavor. We enjoyed every flavorful bite! The sauce was perfect and plentiful if you wanted to use it for another meal honestly! Always a hit!

Esmeralda’s is a quaint, vibrant restaurant with AMAZING $1 Tacos 🌮. You do have to buy a drink with it. It is totally worth it! Love this little place!! Highly recommend!!

We were visiting the area and were looking for some amazing tacos—we found them here! They are amazing and worth the wait! My sons also said the California Burrito is delicious as well. 100% recommend the shredded and grilled chicken tacos. The salsa is also really good and the homemade chips very tasty! The nachos were good, but a little soggy, so I wouldn’t order again. But the tacos—run and order some for yourself!

The flavor of the tacos was quite good! A slight ding in the review due to the guacamole being too salty. It overtook the flavor of the avocado. The decor is very inviting, and the staff was attentive.

Stopped in on a Monday for some good street tacos. The menu made big orders easier to make, buy a drink to get the extra special price. I liked the Carnitas. The salsa added some nice spice. Our first time experience was impressive. There was ample parking out front and the first thing I noticed when entering was the wheelchair access and festive decor, both of which was an unexpected touch. The food was quickly prepared and served and the quality and freshness was apparent. The drinks were served in convenient to-go cups and the extra napkins were very much appreciated. All and all, we had a fine experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends. 😁

I had pretty high expectations here based on the reviews. The birria tacos I ordered here looked flawless but somehow had very little flavor. I couldn't discern any chile flavors, no cumin, no garlic, it just tastes like beef stock somehow. The guacamole was pretty good, but the chips provided were stale. Overall the restaurant is bright and very clean.

I looked on the Internet and it said 1 tacos. So I showed up and asked what the deals on tacos were. It wasn't a dollar like the Internet said. So I purchased three with rice and beans. It wasn't good at all. Dry meat and tacos the size of minis. Beans are not cooked all the way. Rice overcooked. I'm a little disappointed
