Fresh Freeze Eureka Reviews
My favorite spot in Eureka, burgers are good shakes are good, eaten here multiple times this week. Humboldt burger is good, fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, onion rings, had blackberry shake (fav) coffee shake, peanut butter fudge shake, butterscotch shake, and ice cream cone 1 day.
I love this little through back. They have great food and seem to be busy all the time. Great ice cream as well.
I had a grilled hot dog and fries and then a ice cream cone for dessert. This is an old style hamburger stand with pictures and models of old cars on the walls. They are great entertainment for kids and adult kids that still like old cars. There is both indoor and outdooe seatng. There is a full selection of frozen treats from cones and sundaes. The banana split looked real tempting. I am planning another visit on my next trip to Eureka.
Great burgers made to order! Great service..lots of interesting extras like zucchini fries. Prices are really good - double patty cheesburger, fries, and a small drink for about $15!
Cool place! Everything was made fresh. The regular burger was delicious. The shake and sundae was excellent. Creamy and very flavorful. Kind of takes you back to the 50's. The employees were super nice and made everything perfect!
This is a great classic diner to go to for great food, great service, and great pictures! I ordered a long chili dog and I had to eat it with a fork and knife! The taste and texture of the chili was very good. I also ordered a shake with two flavors (Hot Fudge and Caramel) and it tasted soooo good!! I can’t wait to come back to Eureka so I can come back to this hidden gem!
We stopped here to eat because my parents had heard about it. We were not disappointed. Great hamburgers, milkshakes and frosty’s that the whole family was satisfied with. There is an outside area and an inside area to eat - we decided to sit inside. My 5 year old son loved to look at all of the model cars behind the glass and kept asking me if they were on sale. My nephew tried his first milkshake here and he loved it. We will make sure to stop by next time we are in town.
The burgers here are really good. Exactly what you would expect from a 50s vibe kind of burger place. Theyre really big and they give you a good helping of fries. Worth the price.
Best banana split around, and I had 3 in the week we visited. We didn't eat any other foods so thats the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Its an old drive in restaurant and half the seating is outside with no shade. There are a few small tables and a countertop bar inside but there's no AC so it can be hot. I enjoyed looking at the model car collection in the windows while we waited for our ice cream.
This is a fun old place to get some ice cream on a sunny day. I enjoyed their crispy chicken burger with no tomatoes and added pepper jack cheese to it, so it actually wasn't a burger. In fact, it was two chicken tenders. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. The chocolate ice cream sometimes tastes watered-down, though.
So some of the things I grabbed was some chili cheese fries and a chicken sandwich. My choice of drinks were their cherry lime squeeze and an Oreo shake. Everything tastes pretty good and the portion sizes are good. The only thing I didn’t like that much was the prices. The fries cost me about 5 bucks and the sandwich cost about 7 and some change. The small Oreo shake was about 6 dollars and the drink was a couple dollars too. This is the only reason why I don’t give it a full 5 stars. Everything is good, but not that good to charge that much.
I would of given this 5 stars if my fries were warm! However, the burger was one of the best I've had in a long time. The service was so great. The girl helping us was so nice. She told my husband her favorite was the chili dog, so he got that. He really liked it. The onion rings were probably some of the best we've ever had. I definitely would go here more, but we were on vacation. I got the bacon cheese burger and a chocolate malt. Not very malty, but still good.
dont come here- dont get me wrong, I love the aesthetic of this place as well as the milkshakes but the food was kinda awful, I could not reccomend their burger or hotdogs over something from McDonald's or Wienerschnitzel and those places have awful food imo😭. Come here to look around maybe get something sweet and enjoy the environment but dont come here for the burger or hotdog
Always really slow. Phone hung up on me. Called back. Was really rude answering and taking my order. When I asked between the difference between jumbo and regular I was told your should figure it out.. 7 per mini cheeseburger. 7 per corn dog. Surprises place hasn't gone out of business yet
Never get the chicken sandwich. The worst I’ve ever had. Also 1/2 the fries were cold and stale. It gets one star for the milkshake. That was very good.
Got my food with a side of mozzarella sticks. Literally every single one was empty. Went back in to get another order. First bite and what do you know, ITS STILL FROZEN AND SOAKING IN GREASE. Dont know what happened to this place bud quality and service has gone downhill the past couple years. Used to love coming here.
Worst meal ever!! They literally gave me a burn hot dog that was so burn it was hard and couldn’t even eat and then my fries were not even cooked! When I called they didn’t even care and were rude Literally worse experience than ever and I’ve been going to this establishment since I was a child so very sad how terrible the employees are that they would even send food out that’s not edible!
Service was absolutely terrible. Employees do NOT have common courtesy and are extremely rude to their customers. Customer service is absolutely terrible as Employees are very unprofessional. Moreover, the food is extremely overpriced for such a small burger with fries and given the taste, it is not worth it. Absolutely would not recommend and would give this 0/5 stars if I could. Would not recommend!
