This was legit one of the best burgers I have ever had. I had the half pound Animal - because you are what you eat - it was f'n 🔥 I wish I had not gotten something with Jalapeños, just to give an opportunity for the grass fed beef to shine. I ordered it well done. Steaks are for rare and burgers are for well. I had a small fry to go with it. They were very good as well, but I didn't come for the fries. I didn't wait too long, but it was during opening hour at 1100 so I can't attest to wait times during busier hours. Next opportunity I get I will order the most basic burger with avocado added just to get a realistic head to head battle of the burgers. This trounced all fast food burgers hands down, in-n-out included. Also smacked up all of the resteraunt burgers I have ever had. A true gem for what could be considered American cuisine, although I do believe the burger is a German machination; Hamburg, Germany to be specific. Who cares about Germany though? They aren't known for their burgers only for terrible humor and spear heading world wars. 🤣

The place looks like a hole-in-wall kind of spot. Tho. Great service, food was amazing. And the bathroom was clean.

Surfside does not have an extensive menu but they are good at what they offer. Had their Southwest Burger with a side of garlic fries. The burger was solid. It could have used more jalapeno for a better kick. The grass fed beef patty was nice and juicy. Garlic home cut fries were amazing, doused in a ton of fresh sauteed garlic. Guaranteed to give you garlic breath but so good.

Burgers are Fire 🔥🔥🔥 a tad bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for, reason for the 4 stars. Seasoned Fries are fresh and perfect with ranch dressing. I would highly recommend if looking for a great burger to fill your tummy.

I'm really torn with this. I would have given more stars because the burger was absolutely delicious and my husband said his was as well. Those fries though really let us down. We got 3 orders; plain, garlic and nacho. All 3 orders were luke warm at best, we asked them to redo the nacho fries because that was our youngest order (her whole meal actually) they took it back and instead of bringing out a fresh order they "warmed it" but it wasn't really any warmer than it started. Spent about 50 for 2 burgers, 3 fries, a basic dog and 4 small drinks. Edited to fix spelling errors.

The hamburgers and the chicken basket we ordered we DELICIOUS! We were disappointed, however, with the onion rings (onions inside were mushy and outside were overcooked) and the fries. Almost $50 for four of us...

Sadly, a shell of its former self. I have been coming to Surfside regularly since moving to the area. Used to recommend to visitors. Since changing ownership, it's just not the same. It stead of thick burgers, the cook seems to smash them. Ordered medium, got well done. Fries are barely palatable with fry sauce. Burger was over salted with minimal beef flavor. Salt n pepper shakers feel like they haven't been wiped down in weeks. Wonder if it's even local grass-fed anymore. I threw away half of my order even though I was famished. So disappointing. I used to love Surfside. I was reluctant to leave a review the last several times as I thought the new owners were going through growing pains, but sadly this doesn't seem to be the case. Our group of 3 went here for lunch and were very disappointed. We waited for over 30 minutes after ordering even though they were not busy. My 1/2 lb Western bacon cheeseburger was served with a tiny drizzle of BBQ sauce and was quite dry. When I asked for more sauce for my burger I was told I had to pay 54¢! This was quite bothersome considering that the burger I purchased was over $13 and came with such a pathetically small amount of sauce. The onion rings were greasy and flavorless and the fries were okay when they were fresh, but quickly turned a weird texture before our meal was even done, as if they were re-fried. Considering the very high prices for their burgers and fries, we were hoping for a much better experience. Nearly $40 for a couple! I don't think we will be returning.

Ordered through door dash a double burger. Can someone tell me what this meat stack might be? No condiments, soggy bun and broken pieces of slapped on slabs of meat. Gross.

Extremely disappointed in this meal. Ordered a Western Bacon Burger that came with no bacon and “Garlic” fries that came with a chunk of garlic in the middle. Fries are barely even salted and burger was sub par. Also there’s a HAIR in the burger container!! Will not buy from here again

Seems weird grass-fed beef and onion rings. I asked the woman who helped me if I could have a small salad instead of the onion rings. She said we don't have salad. I'm sure they weighed the meat before they cooked it. I don't like the fact that you have to tip at the cash register before you even see your food and then they don't do anyting except wait staff hand you your food, you can have to buss your own table.
