The food was absolutely a delicious! They were very concerned about my gluten issues! They were sure to not do any cross-contamination! They were very, very amazing! I got the Mississippi pot roast sandwich on gluten-free bread. My husband got the Apple pulled pork on their regular bread, which was delicious! The potato salad is very heavy mayonnaise! My husband lived it, despite not even liking mayonnaise very much! The restaurant has a really cool setup! You order at the counter. You help yourself to the drinks and silverware, napkins and seat yourself somewhere inside the restaurant. The restaurant is a whole lot bigger inside than it looks like on the outside. The restaurant is very eclectic! It's very fun! They bring this food out to you when it's done, which is very quick! You clean up after yourself as well. We absolutely enjoy the food and would eat there again! The lighting in the restaurant is very nice! It has a lot of sunlight streaming through the windows!

First visit here... Very quaint, cute and fun place to meet a friend for lunch... They have it very well organized... You put your own dishes up, there's a place to pour water out... And put your silverware up etc... I would have preferred my friends sandwich over mine but it's a learning experience ...my beef brisket and cheese sandwich, (Beer Beef & Cheese) had a lot of gooey fat in yet, so that was a bit disappointing but the potato salad was delicious... The staff was real friendly... My friend had the pimento and bacon sandwich and gave me a bite and it was really delish... Looking forward to going back and try something else...

Absolutely delicious!! The beer beef & cheddar with the potato salad is something I would walk back to Farmersville for 🤣 fun little house with every eclectic antique you can dream up as decoration and super friendly people. Fantastic place for lunch!!

Over Yonder is the most flavorful restaurant in Farmersville. I don’t typically give out 5 stars but when i do it’s because the establishment deserves it. Thank you for your passion of providing great tasty food. I can’t say anymore.

I wouldn't normally go I to a sandwich shop but I wanted something lite today. My expectations were low especially after I ordered my turkey and Swiss sandwich with a side salad and sweet tea and paid $17. Seems rather expensive for lunch, especially in Farmersville. When it was delivered it wasn't a mountain of food like you'd generally expect to get but it was just right. The entire meal was delicious and tasted like it was fresh from the garden. What a pleasant unexpected surprise. I'm not really a sandwich guy but I'm converted after this meal. I can easily give this place 5 stars. Great job.

The food was phenomenal! Always fresh prepared. Chicken and dumplings were spot on today. But the Caesar salad is what gets the big raves today. The perfect balance between dressing salad mix croutons and cheese!! Huge bowl and so yummy!

Best sandwich I’ve had at a restaurant in a very, very long time. I added bacon and it was cooked fresh and delicious. The red potato salad was well balanced and the perfect amount of fresh dill. Very fresh food all around. I never eat the crust of my sandwich… I ate the crust people, that’s a fork drop.

Some of the best food you can find in Farmersville is at Over Yonder. I first fell in love with their Mississippi Garlic sandwich, before moving on to love even more the Beer, Beef, and Cheddar sandwich (though I highly recommend subbing the sauce on this one for their insanely good garlic aioli sauce). Every bite is warm, savory, flavorful goodness! And their potato salad is yummy and unique as well. I’m so glad this gem is in Farmersville because this town really is a bit of a food desert in my opinion. So having a place like this in downtown is much appreciated.

Very cool, homey feeling atmosphere. Friendly staff, excellent sandwiches and soups. Don't be boring, try one of their signature sandwiches. The potato soup and cubano sandwich are some of my favorites. And the sweet tea is Texas style perfection!

Second time visiting, quality lunch for the price. The broccoli cheese soup is fantastic. My sandwich was full of pork and bacon, was extremely savory. Only disappointment was my wife's sandwich, veggies and Bagel was great but there was only a very thin slice of turkey was was very underwhelming compared to the other ingredients. Overall a great place for a homemade lunch.

Cozy and quaint, mom and pop, cafe with the most delicious sandwich I might have ever had in my life! The pig and apple sandwich is an absolute must, and so is the lasagna soup! The service was outstanding as well. Definitely worth the 11 mile drive it took to get here, and we will absolutely be back!

Very nice spot to grab lunch. Me and my father went one day on a whim and were very much impressed. I got the Cubano and OMG! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I don't remember what my father got but it looked great. He got the Hamburger soup as a side and it was amazing. Definitely recommend this to anyone in the area!!!

You know that moment when you're going home or grandma's house and you walk in the house to smell your favorite pie just fresh out of the oven or favorite meal still cooking in the stove. That special moment when you're transported through time and you are a kid again. You're walking through town hand in hand with your parents or high school sweetheart, not a worry in the world. All is right in the universe. I just discovered a place where you can walk back in time and revisit those memories with the smell of the food and the small town charm. Come and treat your palette with what Over Yonder had to offer. I had to ask if they had a Cuban refugee stowed away in back because the last time I had a Cubano sandwich this good was in little Havana in Miami, Florida. I give them 5 stars across the board. Their charm is deliberate and makes everyone feel at home. Thank you for lunch... WE'LL BE BACK.!!!

Had a doctor appointment in this cute little town and stopped here for lunch. What a little gem of a place! I had a salad and soup and enjoyed every bite. There is so much charm in this restaurant, and I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a delicious lunch!

This is the most amazing & unique sandwich shop. One thing that makes it so amazing is the employees. The atmosphere is the second thing that makes it so amazing. Went in for a breakfast sandwich, which isn’t in the menu, but they happily made me exactly what I wanted. It was fresh & homemade. I highly recommend this eatery. It’s a five star on ALL counts. Thank you ladies for making your eatery a five star eatery. Y’all are the backbone & have a passion for what you do & for your customers. Y’all ROCK!!!

Absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture of my lunch. My sandwich was the Mississippi gahlic I believe, and my husband had the pig and apple. My lunch was so full of flavor but I feel like it should have been for dinner. The of and apple, my husband shared a few bites, was scrumptious 😋 ! A cute quaint little place that you have to try if you're in town, and love a good sandwich. It's a bit pricey, but one of the best places here in Farmersville, you won't be disappointed.

Wish they had a "dog friendly" section for those days of window browsing the shops or attending events on the Square with my canine family members. Otherwise, I really appreciate their fresh take on deli favorites & the way they will modify any item on the menu to accomodate my vegetarian lifestyle. I highly recommend it to anyone!!!

A solid 3.7. I was looking for a nice off the path spot for lunch and came across Over Yonder. I was not looking for something to truly delight my taste buds. I was just looking for a local spot to grab a good sandwich The sandwiches were just well balanced with flavors that compliment the variety of meat selections. The side pasta salad was just okay. It didn't add to or take away anything. For the price $14, the house made sandwich, side, and serve yourself tea/water I went in with an open mind. I would expect a WOW factor for the $14, yet I didn't find it. Truly, the best part of the sandwich is the bread. I got the Mississippi, pasta salad, and water. It is a nice spot with limited openings time. No one here while here, music playing, and a quiet atmosphere. If you haven't been here and you are the area, stop in. Sorry, it is just a one-time spot. I do not know that if I am ever here in the area that I will be here. Cheers...
