I went to Embers with my wife on my birthday. The service was excellent and the food was really delicious! My wife is a vegetarian and they have a full menu for her....much appreciated! They have a prix fixe menu for both meat eaters and vegetarians (I selected the meat and my wife vegetarian). The service was probably the highlight. Our server and sommelier were both amazing. Her wine pairings were 🎯 I'd highly recommend but make sure you submit your reservation ASAP. The place is a small!
Food and service are really great, especially when you consider remote location just on Yosemite National Park border.
We were fortunate to be able to have a wonderful dinner at Embers restaurant at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. The prefix menu was a delight of flavors and the wine pairing made for an even more enjoyable time. Our soumila helped us to understand the pairings and what to expect from the selection of wines that we were having. We were greeted from the beginning by the team. We were able to meet the chefs and talk with them about the food. Remember to ask if they have the pinecone (its great after the meal as a mint) Thank you to the entire team for such a great memory, and a beautiful setting.

Great
Excellent food and service!
i liked it.
We got there shortly after opening for the evening, mid week. We pretty much had the place to our selves. SO nice and quiet. Super service by two wait staff. Nice meal, we enjoyed it.
Wonderful ambiance and service, and a great place for date night. The high prices keep the screaming kids away! The food was inventive and pretty good, although some of the flavor combinations were not to our liking. They did a good job accommodating food allergies. The prices are high, but in line with what one would expect for fine dining. We paid about $170 per person, and we opted for the cheaper menu (4 course, not 7 course). We didn't get the wine pairing, but we did each order a drink.
Great food and attentive service in an elegant yet casual setting. We had pork chops, recommended by wait staff, and they were excellent. Kids were very happy with chicken strips and paste and grilled chicken with pasta. Dessert was chocolate cake, which is huge and cl comes with a large pot of molten chocolate. Delicious!
Great service and excellent food! A little pricey, but definitely worth it. The lemon creme brûlée was amazing.

We had a 6:15PM reservation on a Tuesday and got seated right away. It's definitely a more quieter ambiance than Jackalopes next door so if you want more quieter time it's worth going to instead and we didn't find the price point to be significantly more. 4 of us without alcohol was just under 200 and jackalopes was around 165. The service was friendly and welcoming. They did have 3 closed mussels in our small appetizer which was a little disappointing but the service and ambiance and rest of the food was about a 3.5 or 4. The shrimp parpadelle was a little too lemony, but the pasta was cooked fine. The mushroom risotto was flavorful and the cioppino was savory but a little salty. The shrimp cocktail app was very good. Go for the ambiance and nice service and decent food.
Located inside Tenya Lodge, this upscale steak and seafood restaurant delivers. I had the rib steak with a table made Caesar salad, also had the frau Gras all where excellent, the steak was tasty and huge. The also have a nice wine list. The only issues we had was when we came in early to have a drink in the bar, and to watch the game, we were told we had to eat there or wait in the lobby, which to us was not an option. After negotiating with the desk person and " manager" it was reluctantly agreed that we could have a cocktail at a table in the bar. Also, our dinner took a long time getting out, my steak was only warmish at best, but I ate it cause I was really hungry.

Servizio ottimo, personale gentile e attento. L’ambiente è molto carino ed elegante, ideale per una cena in un bel contesto. Purtroppo però il cibo non mi ha convinta del tutto.

Wasnt great for the price. Go to the grill place next door for better service food and price ! This place looks and tries to be upscale, but doesnt deliver in any of that. Service: Lady was lovely but kept asking us about starters (3 times)..WE DONT WANT STARTERS! I asked a guy for ketchup and he didnt bring it to me. 5 minutes later I had to ask another guy and he brought it. Food: average at best. I had the fish and chips which was probably frozen and my wife had the cioppino in which there were 2 unopened mussels !! We did alert the waitress, and she knocked 10 percent off our bill. What was ridiculous, was that they add a 20 percent service fee onto your bill already ! You can ask for it to be removed, but the cheek of adding it after giving us those 2 closed mussels. Insane. As I said, better to eat at the bar next door.

Food average, service rushed.clean
The food was good. I had the filet and it was a little salty but otherwise cooked to my liking. Also had the lobster bisque which was very good. My friend had the rack of lamb and loved it. Unfortunately I have to give two stars as a result of the management. Our server was great but the manager spent the entire duration of our rather expensive meal having a loud and obnoxious conversation with the table next to us. I couldn’t hear a word my friend said. To be fair, the patrons at the table next to us were pushing the ridiculous conversation forward. The manager, however, should have known better and shut the conversation down rather then keeping it going. We were really looking forward to a nice dinner, but no such luck.

Absurdly overpriced. Food was not good. I could have made it better myself for a quarter of the price. Our waiter was mediocre.
Place was open but wouldn't seat us. May not be lgbtq friendly.
