Darn good Bloidy Mary Garnished with bacon, pickled onion, spicy green beans, fat olive... and only $5.75 during the all day happy "hour". Day bartender is great, she was friendly and humorous. The building has that antique charm. Absolutely loved it. Local and tourist favourite. *Not a restaurant. Bar and snack food (chips, beef jerky) only. *Open air smoking room in back over looking oak trees.

Under new management and it shows. Things that were once eyesores are being addressed. New paint outside, new barstools, craft beer, food trucks, live music on some afternoons and on weekends, reasonable prices, and great bartenders. Check out the "sip and paint" activity on certain Sunday afternoons. The locals are friendly and make visitors to the area feel welcome. Don't mind bad reviews from the past. Things are a-changing! Give the Oak Room a shot. You won't leave dissappointed.

Great little biker / dive bar. Super friendly. Pool tables in the back. Karaoke on Friday nights. Great draft beer. A bit intimidating to walk in as everyone seems to know each other but they don't hesitate to start up a conversation. Well done.

We had an incredible time at this bar. Met a lot of friendly locals and played some pool. The bartender (I believe she said her name was Danielle) was very personable and made us some great drinks. Thank you for the great experience!

Wonderful bar for grabbing a beer and playing some pool. Great staff and a nice selection of craft beer on tap from a local brewery.

Stopped in on my way out of Yosemite National Park. There's something about a beer that just hits right after a long day of hiking. What also hit right was the service!!! It seems, everywhere I go lately, the servers/bartenders couldn't care less and know nothing about being accommodating or, at the least, pleasant. Danielle, the bartender, was outstanding!!! Prompt service with a smile and super friendly. Also gave me lots of pointers of the area and other trails to do. Will def be stopping at the Oak Room again. Cool bar with exceptional service.

Gives u that small town vibe while still having the big personality type of people in here. Everyone was friendly and I definitely recommend this place to everyone that is looking for a spot to have a drink play some pool and listen to music!

Place is clean and very inviting. Full bar with reasonable prices for the location. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. Place has a electronic jukebox, a couple of pool tables, oversize jenga, and plenty of seating. Would definitely recommend!

Don’t hesitate, just go here! Absolutely amazing picture of the local living in Oakhurst, my drinks were great and the bartender Nora was so sweet. I would 1000% go back anytime I am back in the valley. They don’t have food though! Whoever left that review must’ve been confused, but keep in mind. It’s just drinks.

Lively dive bar with jukebox music, pool tables, space for live music (was there on a Monday night, so guess there wasn’t any live music). My cocktail was good and the service friendly and prompt. Nice place for a few drinks with friends.

Friend and me went there . One beer one segrams and 7 up. These two drinks were $15.50. in my opinion way over priced. If had another one stay would of been 31 dollars for 2 beers and 2 mixed drinks. Nope can't afford that place.

We went to this bar while on vacation to ring in the New Year and specifically called ahead to confirm they were having a NYE party. We stopped by earlier in the evening, ordered a drink, and hung out for a bit. Since the party was just getting started and the DJ hadn’t arrived yet (our fault for not checking times), we decided to go back to our hotel and return closer to the countdown. When we came back later, the parking lot was full and the place looked lively, so we were excited. As I went to walk in like I had earlier, I was stopped by someone claiming to be a bouncer. I say claiming because he was wearing a flannel shirt and smelled strongly of alcohol. I didn’t think much of it at first since small towns can operate differently. I handed him my ID, and my boyfriend handed his over as well. He glanced at them and said I was fine to enter but insisted my boyfriend was “too young.” We honestly thought he was joking because there was absolutely no way — my boyfriend is a full year older than me, and to make it even worse, his birthday is on New Year’s Eve, meaning he was literally turning a year older that night. We explained our birth years multiple times and even showed that his birthday was before mine. Despite this, he continued to insist my boyfriend was too young and repeatedly asked, “Do you understand what I’m saying?” when it was clear he didn’t understand the situation at all. This went on for about 10 minutes before someone else from inside the bar came out, checked our IDs, immediately confirmed we were both clearly of legal age, and let us in within seconds. At that point, we tried to still enjoy ourselves because we didn’t want to head back to the hotel during quiet hours — we wanted to ring in the New Year as planned. Unfortunately, once inside, the vibes were off fast. There wasn’t a single place we could sit or stand without feeling uncomfortably stared at. I didn’t even order another drink. We simply waited for midnight, rang in the New Year, and left. Between the incompetent door check and the unwelcoming atmosphere inside, this place failed to deliver what it advertised for New Year’s Eve. We expected better.
