New Asian Food Flushing Reviews
I went this morning to try anything, it was my first time trying food from India, and I’m really impressed; it was absolutely delicious!! I got the palak paneer and a samosa. The lady at the front was very nice and kind, she patiently explained to me in detail every dish they had.
Great food at an affordable price! You know it's good when all you see is a bunch of aunties are cooking and taking care of the place! Does not taste like restaurant food, tastes like home cooked food! Small place for take-out

The owner and her son are extremely hospitable. Food is delicious, you don't even craze meat with how flavorful the food is.
Great home made food very nice customer service highly recommended. Prices are very competitive and they have fresh food. Samosas and many type of delicious roti's. I can't say enough good things definitely a must try.
This place is like walking into a living home for delicious dinner. We let our new friend Zorro pick all our food for us and there was not a single thing we didn't like. Highly recommend this place for a quick takeout meal.
Great, authentic vegetarian shop in the neighborhood. My go to place for samosa chaat. Generous portion with affordable prices. The servers there are friendly and helpful.
Usually i don’t give good reviews until i go to a place multiple times but i dont live close by so i might not go too often. However the owner (son?) was amazing. It was my first time there and he was so helpful in explaining the plates, taste etc. this was around may or so with covid so they were just opening up again. Ty for ur kindness ! Totally considering stopping by again when im around the area. Now i live in brooklyn
The food was excellent. The service was from the heart. Can't recommend this place enough.
The food that brings Love and remembers where you came from, thank you, aunties. I will definitely come back.
Fantastic food. Must go vegetarian spot in Queens.
Hands down best vegetarian Indian restaurant with best prices in flushing. If they were slightly closer I would eat there weekly. Their eggplant dish and spinach dishes are absolutely delicious, it’s like absolute perfection also because of portion size and price. Can never figure out tasty veggie dishes. But Indian veggie dishes are so complex and delicious, and I know on my own it will take a long time to make and not taste nearly as good so it’s a great place to eat for people that don’t have a lot of time but want a delicious vegetable dish. They have a granny that makes the food so it’s like homemade gourmet food made with love and care. Best kept Indian restaurant secret in flushing.
This place was awesome. Definitely a great hole in the wall in Flushing. The owner was super pleasant and definitely made my evening. Highly recommend coming as their food was delicious too!
Came near closing time for a late night snack. There was a kind and friendly gentleman who gave us more samosas than we asked for. The samosas were hot and delicious. Will definitely be back to support. Thank you!
Sonan was so so so kind and friendly. had a great conversation and the food was AMAZING. sooo flavorful and rich, highly recommend. favorites were the channa daal and the eggplant. and the roti was perfect.

Samosas are good but had a negative experience when I ordered their parathas. They said they only took cash, which was fine— but then after I left I realized they overcharged me by a couple dollars. Not to mention the food was cold and old! I like the samosas but not sure I would recommend anything else. Also, be careful they don’t rip you off!

Picked up parathas in the morning. They were super cold/not fresh. After getting home, found rat poop in the bottom of the bag 🤮 DO NOT get food from here, clearly no food hygiene regulations are followed.

I came in and had some wonderful kathi rolls and vegetables samosas. When I called a little later to ask a question and give my compliments to the owner I was treated incredibly rudely by the lady who answered the phone. She hung up on me as soon as I asked for the manager. I called back and she did it again. I didn’t say or do anything else just asked for whoever I can leave a compliment or complaint too. This is incredibly unprofessional, she’s either downright rude and dngaf about customers at all or she’s blocking anyone who might complain about her atrocious behavior to her boss. Both options are unacceptable
Food was stale and cold..my stomach was upset. No gloves used . It's unclean ..no credit card accepted.
I ordered samosa chat and it tasted old. Their prices on the menu are subject to change without notice. Better to ask the price before getting anything.
Closed on the weekends, yet googles hours say they are open until 5pm. I walk in at around 11:30am, because the door was OPEN, and I’m greeted by a woman who looks confused as to why I am there, meanwhile I was confused as why they looked closed when google said they were open, and I ask can I place a pickup order? She says no?, all confused looking. I luckily had my order written down, since I planned my morning around getting brunch at this place. I hand her what I had written, and she said she would give me what she had. She comes back with refrigerated, cold roti and aloo paratha… I ended up picking up food elsewhere and eating what I got from New Asian Food along with my other food, and the aloo paratha and whole wheat roti were disgusting. My stomach started to hurt after eating them(I did heat them up). Dry, old, and flavorless; why would she even sell me such awful food? Now I am here leaving a bad review. I’m sure these items would have tasted better fresh, along with other items on their menu, but what I experienced with this place was anything but pleasant. She acted as if I was supposed to know this business was closed when I was a first time customer basing their hours off of google maps, which are clearly incorrect. She told me they’re only open Monday- Friday. Update your google maps and don’t sell people disgusting old food you have leftover from the week prior. I will keep my business at Temple Canteen and never come back to New Asian Food.
