This restaurant is a gem! The food is delicious, and the environment is relaxing. My kids absolutely love the homemade roti canai and satay. I highly recommend the Malaysian crispy noodles.

We really love coming here! The staff are always so friendly, and the dishes are consistently delicious. Our favorites are the steamed cod and the salted fish fried rice. Everything else we’ve tried has been up to standard as well. We’ve already recommended this place to several friends, and they all love it too!

Good food, good service, nice clean ambiance. Enough veg options for vegetarians. Will return to try more options especially the deserts and beverage on a warmer day.

Hiananese chicken was amazing! As was everything else, including, but not limited to the Malaysian iced coffee, perfectly strong and sweet, but not too sweet. Fried dumpling soup was also the best! :: and the staff is very friendly! highly recommend great neighborhood spot. Will definitely be back!

This is one of our favorite spots for dinner- it’s just across the street from home and we can always get a table for two. I’ve been obsessed with their Roti for the last 20 years as I’ve never tasted it’s equal. We’ve slurped down their delicious soups for the last year and I’ve been thinking of being adventurous, so I recently I asked the lovely proprietess for a recommendation. She turned me on to Vietnamese Grilled Chicken marinated with lemongrass and honey garlic (I believe it’s #37 on their menu) with a side of steamed broccoli: HEAVEN. The chicken is tender and juicy, the sauce is tangy and flavorful, so I dip the broccoli in it. My husband enjoys their Sizzling Seafood Delight and we always leave with our plates clean. This unpretentious neighborhood spot is a must try if you’re in Forest Hills. GO!

I've eaten here twice. The first time, I ordered a noodle dish and just recently I had a seafood soup. I really liked the food both times. During the most recent meal, I ordered the veggie spring rolls and veggie dumplings as appetizers to share with a family member; they were delicious as well!

An absolute hidden gem. Dont let the dingy entrance scare you, the food is fresh, authentic, and amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection and some of the best Thai and Malaysian dishes we’ve had.

What a lovely little restaurant with nice staff! The Malaysian ice tea and crispy squid were delicious!!! The noodles were good too, but I had thought they were crispy pan-fried noodles, so I was a little confused at first. Still decent though!

We are regulars to this location. We love their roti cani to start and we typically get our yam pot with pineapple chicken dishes as entrees. They have outside dining so you can come and enjoy this locations great food and great staff. The people here are nice and always ready to get you what you need. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Malaysian food. Please stop by!

Great Malaysian and Thai restaurant. The restaurant is big with a lot of seating. There are a lot of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. We got the Malaysian noodles and rice, both were very tasty. The deserts were also good. The restaurant is extremely reasonably priced for what it offers. Would recommend going here.

Was craving Malaysian food and found this spot in Eastern queens, as we live pretty far east on Long Island and didn’t want to drive into manhattan. What we were truly crazy was their roti canai. It was exactly what we were craving and loved it. We also ordered beef satay, and that meat was cooked over a charcoal grill and was super juicy and seasoned and tasty. The satay sauce was an added bonus, and normally I’m dipping my meat like crazy into the sauce but this beef I just wanted to savor. For my main I ordered the Malaysian curry with chicken and potatoes in a clay pot. I was disappointed in the taste as it was the exact same curry as in the roti canai and I thought it would be different. Ordered with a side of coconut rice and it was good but didn’t taste the coconut. My partner ordered the nasi lemak. It was different and he didn’t like the anchovy part but that was personal taste and he wanted to give it a try. However the remainder of the dish was unquie and different and very tasty. Ordered their Malaysian iced tea, and it’s very similar to a Thai iced tea, but less sweet. Overall we would come back. Service was sweet, and reliable.

Very delicious Asian cuisine. There are a mix of Asian dishes on the menu but it’s more Malaysian in my opinion, which is some of my favorite food. Try the roti cani, any of the fried rice dishes, and the satay, chicken or beef. Then was is all down with the iced coffee. The atmosphere in here is really relaxing and the staff is very polite, friendly and attentive. Great place to sit in and eat. Enjoy.

My husband and i love this restaurant. The staff are so nice and friendly . They have the best Vietnamese grilled pork chops that i never tired eating. Husband loves their vegetarian menu. When eating here we feel comfortable with lovely music of the 80’s and 90’s. Not loud just enough to enjoy the music. I gave 4 stars because they need a little organizing infront of the bar. Where there are boxes and bicycle sometimes, and need more lightning, otherwise i will give them 5 stars. Thanks for the wonderful service for many years.

This is a lovely Malaysian Restaurant probably of the best in Queens. The interior design isn’t too lively but the colors are bright enough to take good pictures. Parking isn’t really a problem. There’s plenty of parking everywhere around Queens Blvd and Austin St. If you don’t need meat this restaurant has a perfect vegetarian menu. The prices are great and the portions are good enough to share. This restaurant probably has the best customer service in Forest Hills. All the waiters and waitresses are attentive and friendly. You don’t need to make reservations or wait at all to get a table. One of my favorite things about this restaurant besides the food is the environment. I don’t have too many negatives except for the bathroom. It feels like you leave a nice restaurant to go through a maze to get to their bathroom in the basement. Other than that there’s nothing really wrong with this restaurant. Great job New Pinang!

This was a nice calm spot to catch dinner for two or take the family out. The menu has a huge selection, your bound to find something to eat. If you don’t your either very picky or were too overwhelmed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food isn’t bad at all but it’s definitely not the greatest, at least for what I had. I will definitely go back to explore more of the menu. The food and wine (bottle) prices were very affordable. Overall I had a pleasant experience.

A fusion of South East Asian cuisines, the food is great! As a Filipino, I appreciated the blend of all the different cultural flavors. From the street, I did not expect it to be so spacious, yet it was. It could fit many parties inside. On a Wednesday night, other than our party of seven, there was another group of 5 that occupied the restaurant. It was a slow night, but the service was very fast. We had ordered a lot of food! And it came not too long after. They had also offered some drinks from Asia, like beers from China and Thailand. They offer a lot of variety in their menu that'll keep you coming back for more. I especially liked their roti that you dip in curry. It's so good! I would definitely recommend that and their pad see ew.

The restaurant itself is very dark unless you're sitting by the window. The staff is very friendly and helpful, willing to accommodate in whatever way they can. The prices were reasonable and the food was tasty, except for the noodles I ordered which were very bland. Other than this, I'd say, it was worth a try!

Slow service and below average food. It took forever for someone to take my order and another forever to serve the food although there were only about 3 tables. And don't order beef bread if you want to eat some beef because it's literally all onion.
