I was craving for the honey buttered biscuit and decided to go to Whataburger. Although my ticket order for the family was more than I wanted to pay, the food was perfect and well worth the price. The night shift workers were not only friendly and courteous, they made sure we were happy with our order. Everything was hot and fresh to our satisfaction. Thanks to the night shift workers who were on duty Friday night, 01/12/2024.

Have been going to this location since 2010. For the most part all my visits have been very good, no complaints. Lately, over the last few months this facility has been well maintained. I want to thank the maintenance man that stays up on not only the inside seating area but also the outside area. Yes! You have been noticed. Thank you. After reading other reviews and seeing some of the photos, it saddens me seeing their posts. Under cooked hamburger is not acceptable. I guess there are different shift members where some really care and others that do not have any interest in what they are doing. Sorry for those that have experienced poor food/service at this location.

Whataburger has become one of my great go to locations for quick bites and Meals On The Go. It is so convenient to log onto the app, place your order. You can get curbside handoff when they're open and get drive-thru service within 10 to 12 minutes of placing your order. Even when a drive-thru line has five or six people in it and you have placed your order upon leaving the house within 10 to 12 minutes Whataburger will have your food brought out to your car or passed over to you in the Drive-Thru Lane. The app also makes it extremely rewarding to get a free item after every five items purchased with the app and this applies to even one purchase per day or in some cases duplicate purchases in the same day. Another great thing about Whataburger is that most of the food is freshly prepared so it's hot and doesn't disappoint. Since Whataburger was sold to another company of North I have not seen very many changes down south so that is rewarding that is stay true to its culture even though they are redesigning a lot of the new restaurants that they build and in some cases tearing down old ones and rebuilding them to the new Styles design. And besides how can you say no to a double cheeseburger with bacon and green chiles and a side of onion rings.

Good place to get some food for lunch. I like how long its been around. It's helped me on my occasions when I'm not in a great mood. The food is calming and helps me think about the day and its events.

I always get the breakfast burger. The young woman at the drive thru was very polite and upbeat, however the hash browns with my meal and on my sandwich were chewy. Like they were old. Kinda Disappointed there was no Coke Zero available, first Whataburger i have visited and it wasnt on the menu. A traditional glowing orange W in the sky would have helped in locating the store better, we missed it looking for the sky and had to circle back around due to coming drom the opposite direction of the freeway
Finally earned a reward on the app. So that's where the stars come in, enjoyed this hot buttery cinnamon roll for free. Went through the drive thru. They did not give me a fork to eat this messy buttery roll, so I had to use my fingers. Did I mention it was hot, so it burned my fingers. After getting my fingers burnt and sticky I realized they also did not give me any napkins. Booo.
Ordered chicken strip meal to dine in. Chicken strips were boxed up but no fries were made. So, I waited until a batch of fries were cooked. You guessed it. When served the chicken strips were stone cold. Come on, guys. Pretend the meal is for you.

Came to this particular location and I was told I could not get my half tea half spring without ice. Thos is crazy been to this location many times and never have I been told they can't do that.

This location is soooo slow. They need something like an A line, B line or system where people who have small orders can pass through over those with large or special orders. I waited in the drive thru for over 25 min for a large fry and drink.
It truly breaks my heart to even write this. I rarely go to fast food restaurants, but when I do, Whataburger is my go-to. I’m a Texas girl, born and raised. I’ve gone to Whataburger across the state and across ages… I remember when Whataburger was shaped like a triangle. So I’ve gone enough to know the food, ethics, and service of the chain. No matter what, I could always count on Whataburger to be fast, hot, and delicious. Servers were funny and courteous. Stations were stocked. I’ve become accustomed to a certain standard of quality from our Texas champ. Last night, I waited 45 minutes to get a Breakfast on a Bun Meal. Insane. But that wasn’t the worst of it. The stations were dirty and not stocked. The counter needed to be wiped. No straws or napkins were available. Condiments were behind the counter, but they were so busy in the kitchen at one point that no one was covering the front counter. The drive-through was flowing slow, as was inside the restaurant. They also had long strings of online orders. I don’t know if the issue is that they are understaffed, inefficient, or simply untrained for large rushes, but I hope they figure it out. That was my first and last time at this location.
Usually come to this whataburger with no problems besides the drive thru wait. Today I ordered a buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich like I usually do, except this time the chicken is completely hard and frozen. Went to drive through. Ordered large fry. Placed at 1:39. There was a truck At the window in front of me waiting on their food. Instead of them, pulling the truck up, They had the line back up and all I ordered was fries. It was 152. When I receive my fries got them. They were cold and little short pieces. Since I had to be back at work at 1:58 I just left with them. I’m upset about the weight because they could’ve pulled that truck up but the fries could’ve at least been fresh
This place is disgustingly dirty. I've never been to a Whataburger like this. The floors, the counters, the kitchen filthy. And we watched people touch everything with the same gloves on.

We just waited an hrs for our pick up delivery. Husband had to go in and they had not even started our food. They also ignored him at the counter for a good ten min. Service is always slow here but this was horrible.
I placed an online order at 4:20 am. The system quoted me 7 minutes. When I arrived, they had no customers and that’s when they started to cook my order. I asked the manager could I just get a refund because I’m heading to work. She stated she can not refund online orders. Poor, poor customer service.
This was my first time trying Whataburger, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took a long time for me to receive my order. While the flavor of the food was good, the temperature was disappointing—it wasn’t hot considering how long I waited. The fries were especially cold, which was frustrating. After spending $42, I expected a much better experience. If everything had been served hot, I believe I would have given 5 stars.
I ordered a jalapeño burger. There is no beef patty on here!!!!!!!! This is ridiculous! I love whataburger but I just moved to Forney and this location has really let me down. The line is always very long. This is my third time going and each time something has been wrong I just couldn’t let this one go! I understand and can relate to the world the way it is now. I understand it’s hard to staff properly these days. I’m a hospitality managers for two hotels in downtown Dallas so I can relate to it being hard to staff. That is still not an excuse to keep staff around just to have a body in the kitchen. You need to fire and rehire until you find proper staff that can handle the location and make whataburger franchise proud to have a location in Forney!!!! Get it together!
I’m so tired of going in for lunch only to get back to work late because the employees wanna walk around and converse instead of fixing orders. This isn’t the first time but it’ll definitely be my last time.
Save yourself the trouble and go to the Terrell or Sunnyvale location. Staff at this location constantly prove to be inept at serving customers. Look at the other reviews. This location made a choice to be trash.
If I have to wait more than 20 minutes for my food, it’s ok…but I expect my food to be fresh and hot. This is the last time I go to this location. My burger was cold and my fries were cold and nasty. I didn’t wanted to go inside and make drama. I will just stop coming to this location.

I am to blame for this because I actually waited in the drive thru this evening for an hour and 30min! funny story my car was backed in to by a truck 3 weeks ago i got my new bumper on and picked my car up today the person in front in the drive thru line didnt want to wait any longer and backed up his car in to my new bumper. waited 40min in line to get the menu to be told they cant serve breakfast its after 11:00 btw then they tell me they can make my order so i wait i finally get up to the window the guy at the window gives me the wrong shake i let him know that he takes the shake and turns around 10min later a lady comes to the window and asks if need something i said yeah my shake! get home the tortillas on my taquitos were so stale you couldnt even eat wasted over an hour plus 20 bucks and a minor accident. Told 6-9 mins for pickup had to wait over 20 mins in-store after told pickup time asked the worker about my order he just looked at me for a second and walked away without checking or anything had to wait in total 30 mins for my food and I ordered ahead
Let me start with the girl in the pictures, absolutely the RUDEST employee I’ve ever come across. Her attitude was so nasty! Then Brittney, who I assume is the lead tonight is right behind her. Food was supposed to be ready at 10:40, currently 11:20 and not only have they not started mobile orders yet, they’re not making breakfast so 3 people have walked out. This is ridiculous none of them want to be at work tonight and it shows.
Worst experience! No customer service. Tried curbside pickup, no one came out for over 5 minutes. So I went in, and no one would help at the counter. Found my meal , waiting for French fries. Three minutes later, fries were placed in bag. Then my bag sat on the counter. No one cared. Had trouble getting someone's attention to get my order. Finally received it. The food was cold. Worst experience ever. Will never go there again. No stars deserved.
This place keeps getting worse and worse. I figured with constant change in personnel there would be improvement but no. At least communicate in common courtesy of any delays. Especially when you're sitting there for 30 minutes and everyone else is getting there orders. Of course another minute had to be wasted on taping up my order waiting patiently. I figured the food would at least look and taste good. Unfortunately not, it looks like someone dunked my burger in water before putting it together. And to top it off the fries were cold and stale. Absolutely the worst service ever. People waiting 45 minutes for food. Kitchen FULL of employees, so can’t use the excuse of short staff. Nobody seems to care that it takes so long. Not friendly employees, just a horrible experience and will not be back. Management needs to do better if there even is a such thing for this location.

Ordered two chocolate shakes, was given two strawberry shakes. We told the window operator and we were told "we'll, we can't take them back". We handed them back and repeated that we had ordered chocolate. After a minute she handed us two vanilla shakes .My husband was so peeved that he just took them and said we won't go back there.
I love Whataburger, I’m only referring to this location specifically: their service SUCKS because it is incredibly slow. I’ve been several times and it’s always like this. I recommend making the drive to a different location like Terrell or Segoville.
This is the worst location I’ve ever been to. Management needs a complete restart. You will never get out of here in less than 30 minutes. Waited in line inside for 8-10minutes for the cashier, Norma, to have a horrendous attitude problem and no common sense whatsoever. If whataburger knew better they would hire a brand new crew and train them properly.
“When It Comes To Whataburger, Texas Is The Place To Be” - good lord does this statement fall short of the service I got at the Forney location. Easily the worst whataburger I’ve been to and I’ve been to over a dozen of the states that this chain resides (I’m from Texas so I make it a point to stop when I visit one that has them) Plain and simple, the crew here just doesn’t care. It’s managed by teenagers who hang out a cut up versus working. NO MATTER how busy the service is terrible and the food takes forever. I’ve gone back a few times to see if it’s ever different and it’s always the same. 6 to 8 staff members on staff, Expect to wait at minimum 45 mins in the drive through (even if the store isn’t occupied by customers) You will regularly see people back out of the line 3 or four at a time in between you and me. You’re better off not even pulling into it.
UPDATE: It's been a while since going here so I decided to try again. Terrible decision! Still the worst service of any location and I definitely won't go back. Pulled up to the drive through and was told "give me a second." 10 minutes later, with no other cars there, they still hadn't taken my order. This location has single handedly turned me off to Whataburger permanently. This place was one of the worst locations that I've been to. It actually compares to the Broadway location in Garland. Terrible! I waited in line for an hour on a Sunday night! I ordered a combo and they tried to give me a kids drink with it. I also ordered a small shake, which, they also made the kids size. I got the regular sized drink after telling the guy that kids drinks don't come with a combo meal. He kept telling me that the lady that took my order messed up and put the drinks in as kids drinks. After leaving, I looked at my receipt, which had nothing on there for kids drinks, so he lied. Not only that, but I was charged for a 16 oz shake and given the smallest cup they have. When I got home and started eating my meal, I noticed that instead of the fries filling up the container, which were cold, they put 4 hash browns at the bottom to fill up space. I will NOT be returning. Absolutely nowhere near the great quality I'm used to from Whataburger.

They got my order completely wrong after waiting for 10 min on a mobile order I put in 20 min prior then went back in and waited another 25 before I asked for a refund.. then they tried to give me my food.. said they forgot to put the order in.. the manager was being extremely rude.. and still got my order wrong.. worst whataburger I’ve ever been too..
Kid’s meal was chicken with gravy….no gravy….Double whataburger they forgot the pickles….Fries were a little over half full. A 10 minute wait after asking to pull up, went inside to check on order, lady did not even make eye contact and asked what I wanted never looking at me….mind you I’m not near the hottest thing around, but I’m not hideous. She needs a job where smile’s & friendliness doesn’t matter. I remember when what-a-burger owned customer friendly & made you feel welcomed. The walk in reeked of dumpster smell where there was no dumpster.
Manager is cussing and calling staff stupid, clearly she has zero idea what to do. Slow as honey, this place has greatly gone down hill. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN
Avoid this location!!! It’s bad enough that the staff here order McDonald’s. The past four times I’ve been here in the last three months it’s taken me 40+ minutes to get a single cheeseburger meal. When asked about my order the manager says “oh it looks like your order got bumped. We will have it ready in a bit.” The manager goes to the line cook with my receipt & asks why not only have I waited over 40 minutes but everyone else in the restaurant has waited similar times. The line cook replies “Man I’m tempted to just clock out & go home. This is too much. Everyone is just being extra.” Then goes back to standing around chatting & playing on his phone.
They lost my order or gave it away. Ignored me the entire time after asking the little expediter about my order. I asked for a refund as I did not have another 50 minutes to wait on food. He continued to ignore me. So I walked out with no food and no refund. Awful customer service and very disorganized. I Will never patronize the Whataburger in Forney ever again and will not recommend it to anyone who asked. Get it together and stop disappointing people, you’re not the only game in town.

Always a super long wait and never worth it. Waited 25 min in line for a patty melt with 1 patty. 1 patty! I’ve never ever had that happen before. This location needs some serious work I’m never happy going there and this was definitely my last. They also forgot the dipping sauce for my wife’s chicken tenders even though they literally ask what type of sauce we want. Just horrible. Don’t waste your time go to another whataburger
This Whataburger location is a poor representation of the brand. The reviews about slow service are absolutely accurate. I placed an online order, and despite there being no cars in the drive-thru, it took over 30 minutes to receive my food. Even worse, my drinks arrived 10 minutes after my food. I asked the staff multiple times for my drinks and was repeatedly ignored. When I spoke with the manager (I believe his name was Ted), I asked why I got my food long before the drinks. His explanation? That they have a person making food and another making drinks. That’s unacceptable. It doesn’t take a “rocket scientist” to know drinks shouldn’t come 10–15 minutes after the meal. Frankly, Ted's response and attitude were unprofessional. If that’s the best explanation a manager can give, perhaps he should be making drinks himself instead of managing a restaurant. Very disappointing.
It literally took 40 in order for 2 vehicles and i to get our food. All of their staff on the drive thru are too young. No real leadership to actually make this a FAST food restaurant. Ordered a #2 and grilled onion rings instead of buns. I suppose its my fault for trusting them and not checking my order until i got home. They gave me a regular burger with fried onion rings on the side. Never going back to this subpar place. Don’t waste your time and money. Go elsewhere.

Walked IN. They’re where a Mother holding her daughters baby and the Manager Vincent and staff were arguing with them. They left the store I stood their being ignored for 3 min. There was another lady in-front of me waiting on her order. The manager Vincent took my order I came back because they messed my order up the following night! I ordered an extra exact meal for my daughter this time I checked my order before I left. For some reason Vincent didn’t add 2 chocolate milk shakes he only added 1 nor did he add the Honey mustard in the bag. I had to remind them that I still was waiting on the 2 large chocolate shakes. The staff left me standing there ignoring me while they went in the back talking. I reminded them again I need my shakes. Vincent grabs a cup fills it and slams it down on the counter with no lid and walk’s away. I asked another young girl that I paid for a large and that there should have been two 2. She took the medium shake that Vincent the Store Manager maid and completed my order. During this time I was getting flustered sobI left. When I checked the bag I seen they did not put any honey mustered in the bag so I went back. The Manager Vincent charged me for them saying they where 50. Cent’s each I had made him aware that I didn’t get them the first time just no les than 3 minutes ago and he waited on me. He did not care. The tickets are down below pictures. RUDE, DIRTY. I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!………….. WARNING STAY AWAY. GO EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT AROUND AND HAVE RUDE SERVICE!!!

I drove through this morning, I ordered burger it took 20 minutes to be done. What surprised me is that the chicken was cold and not spices. It was terrible, I will never buy any food from them again.
This place is an embarrassment to the Whataburger chain. The owner should be ashamed of themselves to let such a good brand be embarrassed by their poor management. I’ve been going to this place for over a decade, And I have only gone back over the past 10 years to see if it has changed at all out of curiosity and every single time this place disappoints on every level. the quality of the food/drinks is awful. The service at atmosphere is the most horrendous and all of Forney. I imagine the reason they can’t get good employees to work there is because the current employees Give off such a poor vibes. These employees have got to go, they are awful. If you are the owner and you are reading this, you need to consider firing everyone and starting new. If you did that you would make a lot more money because the chain brings customers, but your employees run them off for good.

Service: this place had plenty of workers. At least 11 I could count. Even one trainee. Nobody smiling. Everyone in a bad mood. And just attitude from the server delivering ketchup. Atmosphere: the sign says Whataburger. But I can tell you this place needs some executive management support. Whoever is manager or regional management have no standards. Summary: there are 6 other fast food places within 2 minute walk. This place is simply getting customer because of the standards Whataburger normally instill. This is the third visit where I have a bad experience over the past 4 months. Since moving here. I will not ever visit this one again. I suggest you steer clear of this Whataburger.
This is the worst whataburger I’ve ever been, they made our order wrong and called them for a remake, came the next day to get the order right sweet and spicy burger with mayo instead of mustard but they keep putting mustard on the burger I don’t understand how hard is it to put mayo instead of mustards on the burgers? $57 worth of food and they mess it up twice. That’s crazy.
The food was fine. The 24 minute wait wasn't. After talking with family that lives out here, this location is always slow and should be avoided. 1/11/26, the kid delivering to the B lane on drive thru was the only one with any hustle or care.
I order a Monterey Melt meal today at 8:03pm It literally took them 30 min just to have the food ready at 8:33pm Really? It a fast food place not a restaurant... The manager and the two supervisor or team leader in the blue shirt just chit chat to the co workersin the back. literally and forgot about the food till i mention about it.... when i did all the manager and supervisor pretending going back to work... this place need a deep clean up will file the report to the corporate tommrow.Sorry doesnt cut it since it the second time. Do your jobs then it wouldnt be a problem or find another jobs that you can milk the clock to work at.
They will have more than 5 employees doing nothing and a lobby full of people waiting and still will take their time regardless if they have a line or not. 20+ mins on a curbside is insane might as well get in the drive thru and make them rush to at least get ya out of there otherwise they will drag all their feet’s
Idk what it is about restaurants these days but here goes another honest and bad review. Stopped in here for a quick bite this evening and placed my order and stood there for approximately 20 minutes with no order. Even long enough to fill my water cup twice. At one point one of the staff remembers asked if I had my order and I said no. Then they wanted to rush to make it but I asked for a refund. The manager came over and not one word was offered by him. No apology or anything - just voided my ticket and that was it. There are a lot of young ppl back there and I have not seen so many incidents of horseplay, jokes and cross contamination in a restaurant - Ppl sweeping the floor, touching the dustpan and trash and NO ONE changed a glove or washed a hand! I was sick standing there watching this and the manager and leaders were in the midst of it all. Your camera will be telling! Not sure how they are passing any inspection because this was appalling and the fact that they are like this makes me weep for the food they sent out the drive thru window. If those customers could only know how their food was prepared and handled they when be mortified! Never again!
Waited almost 20 minutes in the drive-thru on my work break ,with barely any cars ahead of me. When I mentioned the wait to the manager (an older Black man with big thick glasses ) he didn’t apologize. Instead he said, “Do you want raw chicken?” Completely unprofessional. If that’s how management handles simple feedback I won’t be back !! Rude and insulting
Only giving a 1* to leave a review. Placed a pick up order for a GARDEN SALAD & STILL waited an additional 45 mins before it was ready. 45 mins for a salad. I could’ve ordered and eaten a steak @ 5* restaurant in the same amount of time.
Placed a dine in order online. Once we arrived at the restaurant it took an additional 30 minutes to get our order. The manager was extremely rude and very unprofessional. Because this is the 2nd time this has happened at this location we will not be returning. We will use the Sunnyvale location as they are all about customer service. Once we got our food the burgers were cold but the fries were hot. Also it was a dine in order and they bagged our order even though I told the manager it was dine in. He did disagree with me that I place the order as carry-out even after I showed him my phone showed dine in. Several customers commented on the lack of management from the manager.
Ordered through the Whataburger app. They chose a delivery service that did not pick up their entire order or the restaurant screwed up and didn't provide the entire order. I called them, they tell me I have to call the delivery service. I called the delivery service, they tell me I have to call the restaurant. I had to call corporate. I go without food and they're giving me a refund... I am at an all day event. I cannot leave. Don't order online.
This place needs definite labor. Three cars total in the drive through and more than 40 min wait time for a simple double meat whataburger. This is not fast food anymore. And when they give it to you. The fries are all cold. Such a bad customer service.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed my order online, and it stated it would be ready at 9:01 AM. Unfortunately, it was not ready when I arrived, which I was willing to overlook. However, by 9:35 AM, my order still hadn’t come out, so I called the store. I was told they hadn’t received the order. A gentleman kindly came to my car and checked my receipt. My main concern was the rudeness of the staff member I spoke with. Even if the order didn’t come through on their end, I had proof of my online order and receipt. Rather than offering an apology or attempting to resolve the issue, she continued to go back and forth with me, which I found completely unprofessional. Because of this experience, I do not plan to return to this Whataburger location.
This place needs serious help, when I started eating at this location the service and everything was great. They have a new crew I’m guessing but the service is terrible now. I ordered take out & it literally took forever to even get an order, the workers seemed uninterested in the job. I applaud these young kids for showing up for a paycheck but if you do not like the job just find something that’s a better fit for you. Krista Gudmundson you really need to get control of this place because it’s in horrible standings right now.
This has to be one of the worst fast food establishments in Forney. Customer service lacks heavily, the girl that took my order never greeted me when I got to the window, doesn’t acknowledge. Just sticks her hand out to take the payment, and I have to ask for my receipt. I stopped by last week and the burger was RAW! DO BETTER!
Never go to this Whataburger. I went there tonight early morning around 1:45 AM. The lady taking the order in the drive-through obviously could not hear properly. I had to correct her on my order twice then when I got to the window, she had a stink attitude African-American lady with red braids, her name is not listed on the receipt I gave her cash $20.25 for my $12.25 order. She had trouble counting the cash back. Secondly, before I drove off the lot, I checked my order to make sure I was correct. I had french fries not hash brown. No one ever told me that they were out then I open my two breakfast sandwiches cold, so cool the cheese do they put on there is not even melting so I politely went back into the store and ask them to remake my order. Show the ladies how cold food was. Only to my surprise, they remake my order and don’t cook the sausage patties all the way it was raw pinkish and only cooked on one side I feel like they tried to poison me
