Really cute spot. The wait time wasn’t long for prime time. Our favorites were the appetizers and the desserts. The drinks are great too We tried the blackberry margaritas - 10/10 Mary’s lavender - 9/10 Spinach dip - 10/10 ⭐️ Blue cheese burger - 7.5/10 Banana foster - 10/10⭐️ The service was also really great. All of the staff were kind and very quick. I would recommend coming !

Had the onion rings as appetizer, the house salad was really nice. Chicken fried steak and seafood ravioli were amazing. Our best meal out in Fredericksburg to date. Phenomenal

First time going to Granite House in Fredericksburg and it was worth the wait. Food: Gave it 5 stars because it was amazing. Appetizers we had were the tuna nachos and fried oysters and artichokes. They were perfectly fried, lots of flavor and a great portion to split between 2 people. The Tuna Nachos was my favorite. They were so good, when we got home a few days later, I made it for dinner. My wife loved her shrimp and grits entree and the blue cheese burger I had was cooked perfectly well. The garlic pepper fries were amazing. Service: Service was fantastic. After getting on the wait list, headed to the bar and got 2 drinks pretty quick. Smiling faces all around. When we got seated (approx. 15 min later) our server was fun, energetic and friendly. She was attentive throughout our experience and knew the menu pretty well. Atmosphere: The restaurant is a bit snug, meaning it appears crowded when you first walk in, but kinda opens up after you sit down. The noise level was good. You could hear the conversation at the table next to you, but it wasn't distracting. Plenty of outside and inside seating options. We went on a Tuesday in July so the summer heat kept us inside to dine. Plenty of table room and comfy chairs, so it did feel comfortable sitting inside. This is one of the best spots to go eat in Fredericksburg. We come visit a few times a year, so we definitely will be back.

Our evening at The Granite House Lounge was absolutely delightful. Brittany's warm and attentive service made us feel right at home. The drinks were creative and delicious, and the food was simply outstanding. The entire experience was so enjoyable and welcoming. We highly recommend The Granite House Lounge for a truly wonderful and memorable night out!

I was so obsessed with the Granite House Lounge when me and my husband came here on vacation. The restaurant is gorgeous and romantic. We were there for our 10 year anniversary and there was another couple there for their anniversary too! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The food was insanely good, me and my husband ended up splitting the pasta special and then getting the banana foster bread pudding. I highly recommend both!

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant! Cheree was an 11/10 waitress. We enjoyed the bruschetta appetizer, my wife loved her daily special pasta, and we finished our meal with bananas foster bread pudding. I have zero complaints, this is a 10/10 restaurant in terms of atmosphere, service, and food quality.

Great food and atmosphere. Literally the best spinach and artichoke dip I’ve ever had. A must try. Drinks Coconut Mojito and Old Fashioned were a nice treat while we waited for our table. We loved that they offered a cocktail waitress while we waited. Made it more enjoyable while we sat outside in the surprisingly nice weather we were having. Can’t go wrong with anything here. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Beautiful place to stop and have a meal. We did have a bit of a wait on a Saturday night, but it wasn't bad and there is space to sit and have a drink outside while you wait. Indoor and outdoor seating available for dining. All the staff were nice, but our server, Sam was amazing. She was super sweet and on top of everything! We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer and it was so flavorful and delicious! I had the redfish special and husband had the shrimp and grits. The redfish with a lemon dill sauce was fantastic, as were the veggies that came with it. I'd order that again in a heartbeat. Shrimp and grits were also great, he loved them. I felt like they were a little peppery. Overall, I'd definitely visit again as we were very impressed.

There are so many things this restaurant is doing right, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the overall experience. Although there was an hour-long wait, it passed quickly thanks to a friendly waitress who kept our drinks coming and the ample seating available for guests waiting to be seated. The restaurant is set in a charming older home that’s been beautifully converted into a dining space. I really appreciated how they maintained the character of the home through thoughtful paint choices and tasteful décor that honors its history. While in Fredericksburg, I tried several espresso martinis and this place easily served the best one. The menu centers around seafood, and we started with the fried calamari, which was outstanding. For the main course, I had the special of the day: beef tenderloin tips covered in a rich, flavorful Cajun sauce. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. This spot was recommended by a local, and after dining here, I completely understand why it’s so highly regarded.

4 Stars We decided to check out Granite House Lounge after hearing all the buzz—and overall, it lived up to the hype. We started with drinks: I had an Old Fashioned that was decent, and my wife enjoyed her glass of wine. For appetizers, we had the bang bang shrimp and fried green beans. The shrimp were damn good—fried to perfection and paired with a magical chili sauce that stole the show. The green beans were crispy and the aioli was a nice touch. For our entrées, we tried the fish and chips and the chicken fried steak. My wife’s fish and chips were solid—the redfish was tasty and perfectly fried, and the double-fried fries with garlic pepper seasoning were a nice twist. The chicken fried steak was a bit of a letdown—big portion, but it just lacked flavor, though I did appreciate the egg on top. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. The vibe is great, the service was on point, and the menu has something for everyone. Worth a visit!

Read good reviews so came for dinner; there was quite a wait so assumed would be really good. We had a prawn dish for starters which was fantastic. For mains I had salmon and my husband had the chicken fried steak. The steak was tasty but the salmon so overcooked. I spoke to the lady serving us and she totally agreed and had it remade. When it came back it was raw all the way through. Again I spoke to her and she agreed and was really apologetic. By this point I said please take it off the bill which she did and supplied us with a pudding to take home. A real shame as service was good just my fish wasn’t.
