Frühstück top! Sehr grosszügig und frisch! Immer nachgefüllt. Einziges Manko: teilweise Türen oder Fenster offen.

I had a great time visiting the Rose Garden in Funchal. The atmosphere was beautiful with live music and a view towards the ocean. When it comes to the choice of meals - there is something for everyone. Each meal is prepared with a personal adaptation from the chef. Last but not least, the dessert Crêpes Suzette was prepared in front of us by the table, which was quite impressive and I would definitely not try it at home. I would however order this dessert in the Rose Garden again.

Pretentious, poor execution, very slow service

Booked a 3 night dinner package while staying at the hotel. Big mistake. The food lacked any creativity, was pretentious to say the least Menu barely changes. OK if you like fish maybe. Service was nice but food was awful.

A beautiful restaurant, but the waitress ruined the evening’s atmosphere.

La qualité des repas servis, petits déjeuners et dîners, est très médiocre. Il y a très peu de choix, presque toujours les mêmes plats porc noir ou poisson du jour. En outre l’air climatisé est glacial, je suis tombée malade au bout d’une journée. À fuir!

We came to this restaurant well-dressed and in a great mood, simply wanting to enjoy a bottle of wine and some dessert. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by the waitress. As soon as she heard that we were only ordering wine and dessert, she looked at us with clear disdain and even rolled her eyes. It was incredibly disrespectful and immediately killed the pleasant atmosphere we were hoping for. We couldn’t wait to leave and it left a bitter aftertaste on our entire trip to Madeira. This was the only bad memory from an otherwise wonderful vacation. Very disappointing.

This restaurant was our diner destination for our half board stay at Cliff Bay, ok but standard breakfast menu, but dinner was horrible ended up eating elsewhere. Fries were not well cooked and chicken was still pink (first night we had even trouble getting in even though it was booked). The hotel is excellent, that restaurant is bringing them down

We came to this restaurant well-dressed and in a great mood, simply wanting to enjoy a bottle of wine and some dessert. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by the waitress.
