Charming atmosphere especially when it's warm outside. The food is not greasy and priced appropriately. Highly recommended for a nice social gathering, small or large as the space is very expansive with outdoor seating, indoor seating and even a rooftop area that can be rented out. Love the music on Fridays and Saturdays. The mechanical disco ball was hilarious & engineered pretty inventively.

Came here for the 1st time from out of town. Definitely was impressed by the food and the beer was ice cold. Highly recommend stopping here for dinner and a beer.

Fun ans clean. Happened to stop in and they had live music. Relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Will definitely stop in again.

Great place to stop and hangout fot a while, service is excellent, food is great at great prices, drinks are cold. Great small town atmosphere.

Not much to look at on the outside. But food was good. Had the chicken fried steak. It was a huge portion, I thought it was cooked perfectly. Great crunch and flavor with the gravy. Sampled the chicken and waffles from a family member. I liked it to. Chicken was crisp and waffle was nicely done. Service was nice and friendly.

Once someone noticed me, the service was decent. This was my 1st time in. Love the great music, next time, I'll sit on the roof. I definitely recommend the smash burger with sweet potato fries. Will be back.

We wanted to try this restaurant out in Gilmer as it had high reviews. We went on a weekday at lunch rush, around noon. We sat ourselves at a table of our choosing as they were understaffed and did not have a hostess, already not the greatest of starts. Waitress came over about 10 minutes of sitting down and gave us menus and took drink orders. We sat for another 15 minutes or so as we waited on her to come back to us. There were about 5 other tables and a grand total of 2 waitresses. 30 minutes go by and we place our orders. We then waited a whopping 45 more minutes on our food. At this point it is just us and another 1-2 tables. We are told at this moment they only have 1 cook working and we are a family of 6, so our orders can take a while if understaffed. We get our food and there is little to no seasoning on any of it. Our waitresses has gone to bus all of her own tables and the drink machine was next to us so we got our own refills. We also didn't know that drinks did not come with the kids meals and were charged extra for those. All in all a mediocre experience and I hope they get more staff.

I went inside to order because the place was usual busy outside at the bar ( it took about 6-7 minutes to get my drink) , and they didn't have menu's inside except for on a chalkboard. I got my pager for food and went to get another drink . When I got to the bar my fries were there and the cheese was almost cold. I hadn't gotten a page before I was waiting at the bar. I couldn't get the inside employees to close my tab out and had to wait a long time for my bill. The band was good and sung good country songs although I think the music should be more blues, 80's and 90's pop, country and rock. I am glad that they are there because it's a nice atmosphere.

We went to Davidons on a Saturday night for the 8pm act. (This was our first time to the venue) We were greeted with smiles as we walked in the door. We sat at the bar for a bit and were not greeted. We were able to find an open table and sat down. We had not been greeted for some time, so I asked an employee walking by if we needed to order our food and drinks out front and bring them inside? She asked if someone had been by yet, I said no. She apologized and said someone would be by shortly. It was a while after that before the waitress came by. We asked for a drink menu and it was a good 5 to 7 min before she came back with that menu. More time went by and the waitress came back. By then, we were just holding out to see if the visit got better, so we ordered an appetizer and drinks. The appetizer and drinks came quickly. After that, it was a while before we saw our waitress again to ask for the bill. The gentleman playing was supposed to start at 8pm and didn't start playing until around 830. He had some good songs, interacted with the crowd, and then left. We had no idea he was done? I think he played maybe 30ish minutes or so. We sat for a bit thinking he would come back and then the place started playing radio music, so we gave up and left. For the good parts... it seems like the other people were having fun talking and eating. There was a waitress running the whole time, she never stopped! She needs a raise. A gentleman from behind the bar was running as well. The young lady I asked the questions to was very helpful! It looks like it could be a fun place to hang out if you know people from the town or go in a large group. It was busy with a seemingly fun crowd. We were disappointed in the visit but want to go again when there is a band playing, maybe we will have a better time? So, not a horrible review, seems like a cool place, just maybe a one off bad time?

Also if your not a country music fan you will not like it there all they play is country music very depressing when you wanna go out and have a good time. Some rock would be awesome.

Food tasted good, however my chicken fried steak was to come with 2 sides and a roll. I never got my roll. I asked if a side salad could be one of my sides. I was told yes. When it came out I never got my dressing for my salad. We were given plastic silverware. I was charged for the chicken fried steak and then had to pay $3 for my teacup size shredded lettuce and $3 for my fries. We will definitely not be back.

Been wanting to try this place for some time. Stopped in at 4 pm on Friday. Sat at outside bar. Not busy, no tables occupied and about half the bar (outside). Sat at the bar and waited. Talked to the patron next to me and waited. No ‘be right with you’, no nothing. 2 bartenders… no service. After about 5 minutes, when the bartender started a personal convo with someone she knew 2 seats down from me… I was done. Apparently you have to be known to get served here. Disappointing because the vibe was cool. I’d like to spend money here, but I guess they are not in the business of making money.
