Asian Buffet Gilroy Reviews
Cheap and good quality of food. I did not expect to pay only $50 (tips included!!) for two persons on Friday night. The food section is limited but good quality, thats good enough for me. Food is not salty at all, sweets are not super sweet. Everything is just right and I am happy about it.
We come from San Jose for this place, it’s cheap and good, I especially like the bbq pork ribs and my family enjoys the seafood assortment. Also the takeout for $6/lb is a very good deal, you can buy a couple pounds of food and make rice at home
I love the food, but they are closed on Wednesday
It was a great experience and very reasonable price . I like the green beans soooooo much . Also the shrimps. And i tried almost everything except the desserts, i have no room for that. The food category is a lot. Vegetarian or meat lover both can find something to enjoy. Also seafood is fresh, i took a lot. The only thing because i don’t like sweet food that much. Some of the meat or noodles are a little bit sweet to me . While also i’m from China and i like more spicy food. So not their fault at all.I definitely go back again with my family. It is worth to try it 😋
As I left the restaurant, I found myself saying, “Wow, that place is actually good.” For a small buffet, they manage the kitchen and food quality impressively. The dishes were delicious—better than some larger, more upscale buffets. The only improvement I’d suggest is updating the seating, lighting, and overall ambiance. Brighter lighting would help guests see their food better, but I understand upgrades might lead to higher prices. That said, the food quality and reasonable pricing make this buffet a hidden gem.
Might I say this buffet is an excellent choice. Welcoming and cozy environment. Went here on Saturday night and was not very busy, which is what I hoped for. Food was great, service great. Warm welcoming smiles and goodbyes from the staff! Awesome and will continue coming here all the way from Salinas. Would much rather drive all the way here from Salinas than eat at the Asian buffet in Salinas because that’s how great it is.
Given the price ($14 at lunch) I have no complaints. Food was of decent quality. Prawns, sweet and sour pork, beef stir fry were fine. Sushi fine too. I loved the mini egg tarts the best. I didn’t like the fried rice or chow mein. I was very full afterwards and wondered if this place made any money lol. Service was better than average. This place is a bit dark so recommend better lighting.
Our go to buffet in Gilroy. It feels like home; like we are in Chinatown being fed by family. The staff are very nice, plenty of variety, the food is great. Chinese food cravings fix satisfied each time at a rwasonable price.
This place is a solid option if you're looking for an affordable all-you-can-eat spot. The prices are noticeably better than most other buffets in the area, which makes it a great choice when you want something quick and satisfying without spending too much. While the selection isn't as large as some bigger buffets, the items they do offer are generally decent. The savory dishes are better than the desserts they offer for the value. The dessert section, however, could use improvement, as most of the sweets are pretty underwhelming. Overall, if you prioritize price and want a straightforward, no-frills buffet experience, this place is worth trying. It's not the most extensive buffet, but for the cost, it delivers a great meal. The service was great as well and ambiance was decent.
The food I had was pretty good, they do have a lot of fried food.Which I try not to eat. Their sushi rolls were pretty good. My son and grandchildren definitely enjoyed the food
Could have a bigger dessert overall not bad. Little outdated (such a the booths) . Staff was kind. One thing I did notice that was very alarming was seeing a staff member not wash her hands in the bathroom after she came out of the stall ( I was hoping maybe she’s going home and not back to work) . Lastly the location is good, place is in a decent plaza.
This place is a nice surprise. First off, the place, including the restroom, is clean! The server was efficient and friendly. The selection for a lunch buffet under $10 is unbelievable! They have limited sushi including my favorite tofu skin with seaweed salad. They have seafood - shrimp (three ways), mussels, clams, fish. They have the buffet staples - orange chicken (yummy), ribs, pot stickers, fried bananas, pizza, egg rolls, sesame balls, hot & sour soup, garlic bread, etc. Everything I tasted was well cooked! My favorite, however, is not something I’ve ever seen in a buffet before - egg foo young!
Hello there , I hope my critic comment toward your restaurant don't offend other to try it out but, as upcoming tourist and loving food. The Quality texture of the noodle Disgusted me and dryness of fried rice was questionable other then that this buffet has good meat choice and variety of other food categories . For price of 1 it is understandable for the econ but mid taste .
My experience there's was alright. The service there was good just that the food was very bland. It looked like it was made very fast and lazy. No flavor and no variety of many different dishes as it advertises on the internet. Everything else was alright it's just the food was very bad and very cold.
Bad service they seat other people before you food not that good! Also food is always bottom of the barrel you have to wait and stand around for fresh hot trays to come out definitely not worth the price ! The shopping center is run down homeless guy yelling at night as I walked to my car
