Food, service, atmosphere all Super . Pretty tired of the overpricing and gouging though . $20 for a small hamburger, small fries & small soda ? Come on!

We stopped here on our way back home after visiting Fossil Rim. I've never tried the Oreo Blast before and I have so say, it was yummy. I ordered a medium size and it was full or Oreo bits all the way to the bottom. I normally enjoy Dairy Queen's Blizzards but I may be converted to getting the Blasts from now on. Better value for what you get and it really tastes good.

This place is always great. I almost always use the app. If they don’t have something they will come greet you and substitute it for you. Very friendly employees all the time. I have never had a problem EVER with this location. Best place in town for fast accurate service and food without fail.

We came and ordered 3 burritos that were delicious, filling, stuffed, and girthy (in the best way imaginable, my boyfriend was jealous haha). Mary took our order and was very polite. She ended the headset conversation with the total and, “Okay, that’ll be out in a jiffy!” Her silly yet a effective tone and words felt as though she genuinely cared and enjoyed her job. Mary truly is the embodiment of Sonic’s reputation for having kind staff. Without even seeing her face to face, you could hear the smile in her voice through the stall. Now, to recognize the record speed of the food being brought out. It’s especially notable because egg isn’t something holding in the kitchen. They held the Sonic standard of “out the door in under four”. Sorry in advance for the possible misspelling of our carhop, Oaklee. He was incredibly kind and made sure to ask us if we wanted salsa. In every aspect, I’d have to say this is the best Sonic I’ve ever been too.

Always order on app. Over years of ordering. Think have only missed one thing on order.Called back and manager fixed me up next time was there. Great job!

Contact less ordering and delivery of food. My grandson and I didn't have to wait all that long. Unlike the Sonic in Granbury-OMGoodness,, the wait IS forever, time after time. My parents live there and Dad says the same thing.

Placed an app order for ½ tea & ½ lemonade with peach. Was advised they were out of lemonade & asked if I wanted a refund or something in its place. They were absolutely slammed. I was more than happy to just take the tea & appreciated how courteous they were in spite of being so busy. Great job!

I wanted to recognize the employees delivering the food and drinks to the cars today. It was busy hour 6pm when I arrived. 104F outside. The 2 employees I saw deliver food were both hustling...power walking and running everywhere. I know it's hot and you guys were busy, but that shows a lot and deserves some recognition. I wish all sonic restaurants were like this. The car stalls are big enough for our truck. They even have some open spots where you can order if you have an rv or trailer. We have had to stop at this location many times over the last year while traveling back and forth due to building our new home near glen rose. Our family is always impressed at how friendly everybody is that works there. They actually seem like they enjoy being there, which is something you don't see much of anymore. Keep up the good work!

This little location is in a town called Glen Rose Texas, their store was very clean the parking lot was clean the signs were clean the location just looked very clean and inviting. I ordered a medium cherry limeade and it was great. The girl who brought my order out was very pleasant.

Our family came from out of town and stopped here. It was super busy , so going from experience at sonics near where we live I was assuming the worst. I was dead wrong. Wait for our food was very fast and the server was awesome, had that up beat attitude that just great.

One of the workers brought out our coffee first so we can enjoy it while we wait for our food. That was so THOUGHTFUL!!☺ Everything came out perfect. Would definitely go to this location if we are in town again. Great job guys!!!!😁

We had a problem with our app and the staff was very friendly and helpful. She came outside to assist us with the app error. The service was fast and food was great. We don’t get this kind of service at the locations in our area. Very Satisfied!

Around 7.pm. I stopped by Sonic while i was on a 4 hour trip from Ft. Worth. I was so impressed with the prompt service, friendly faces and piping hot fresh hamburger and tots. Addison was just as friendly as can be. What a blessing to me to have chosen this place.

I wish Sonics in the big city were as good as this sonic was.. sadly I was visiting the town.. so I wont be back anytime soon but I must say.. when you arrive here and expect the usual semi cold food an receive otherwise... what a great surprise! Also.. idk who made my French fries that day.. but what and how ever you seasoned them with salt and I wanna say pepper.. DO NOT EVER CHANGE IT UP! this pregnant lady was very happy that day!

This was awesome experience. The service was great, we came 10min before closing (bad i know) and our food came out quickly and good. Also toward other comments: ice is standard police literally everywhere, you are in the south its gonna be in your drink, chill.

The food was good and hot. The best experience was the car hop that brought my order. I have ordered meals from Sonics all over Texas and Oklahoma. None have had a server as friendly as this Sonic has. I was so impressed that I was going to write the corporate office a letter complimenting the server by name. Have to give kudos to the staff at this location. Originally had been overcharged for my family’s meal, but they very quickly came out and explained the error and corrected the situation. Even went above and WAY beyond expectations by refunding the entire order and giving multiple free drink coupons despite me assuring them that it wasn’t necessary to go to those lengths. This just shows how much they actually care about customer service and I applaud them for their efforts.

I had been on a 3 day journey ran out of money 4 hours from home and famished. I pulled in to the Glen rose sonic and ask manager for something to eat she was so nice and without hesitation I was given a meal. Thank you so much I know it's because of your generosity I will make these last 4 hours of my journey compfortably.

Their foot long chilidog are so good and their unsweet tea with lemon is a awesome drink to drink when its hot outside. The only thing I don't like is when the fries are so greasy to eat.

Would have been a 5 but ... I ordered chili for my burger and there was only a tablespoon put on there. If you have to look for the chili, it's not enough. But, service was friendly and fast

The food is good, hot, fresh and fast. Car hops are friendly. My only complaint about Sonic is they only give you 1 napkin and don't give you enough ketchup or sauces and you have to ask for that.

Was pretty good but, my grilled chicken sandwich had WAY to much honey mustard on it. It was like an over dressed. Good but messy. The slushes had a weird after taste. They kindly replaced it but still had an after taste. My son and husband had perfect orders.

Sonic is Sonic. Good food fast with great servers. We all (6 of us) got our food very promptly, correctly, and hot. That spring evening weather was wonderful, so a shady table outside was very comfortable. The area was quite clean, so that was pleasant too.

Very fast and efficient. We only ordered drinks, and they were correct, which was nice. Also, it was nice to see a couple of employees actually scrubbing the patio concrete.

Yall know Sonic is mostly junk and sugary things to be real. However, I enjoyed those new chicken Buffallo Bites. Just wanted to review about those Bites. Cool foodie idea. 😋 This location is homey, the staff here is service friendly and we noticed observed some cleanliness things but it could've been the timing when we were there who knows. Love the bites Sonic!

It was a descent place to eat. The outside picnic tables lack cleanliness and comfort. The waitress was friendly. There's plenty of parking spaces. The food was a bit pricey for fast-food but it tasted good. All in all, it was a pretty good experience.

If you have ever been to one Sonic, then you should know what to expect at this one. Sonic is probably the most consistent fast food place in Texas, the food isn't spectacular, but it isn't inedible either. I love their tater tots, foot long chili cheese cones, breakfast burritos and drink selection.

It's a Sonic. 50s style food, hot dogs burgers and shakes. Decent deal on drink, weekdays 8-10am 2-4pm 99 cent large drinks. Outside of that typical fast food.

Fast food, slow. If I go to the drive through that means I just want to get my food and go. I don't want to feel bad that I do not have cash to give as a tip to somebody that brings me my food. This is the most annoying and uncomfortable feeling about going to Sonic.

When I click on the link it only gives me the option to write a review. we ordered two of the meal deals plus a large tater tot and a large unsweet iced tea. When our bag got to the car we were missing a fry and a large Dr pepper that went with one of the meals. we explained this to our CarHop and then she asked to see my receipt and had to go back in and cook more fries.

Courteous staff! Awful chili cheese tots, but they happily gave me money back even after they closed. Wait was a tiny bit long. My husbands onion rings were good!!

So this is a small town so I'm giving that some consideration. Food tasted fine and was hot better then other Sonics there. Drive was easy to enter and exit and they even had special areas for rvs to pull up and order. Order taker was nice but i had to repeatevery bit of my order, i even slowed down my order and spoke more clearly just in case but even then I'd have to repeat it all. I don't think i ever saw this location very busy so that's not an issue. When we got the food we were given two bags for the kids meals and then a bag for the tots and peppers. However my coney and box of chicken were handed to me individually. Along with all the drinks. Makes carrying in everything rather difficult. When i got to our destination my footlong was actually two hot dogs. I'm not mad outs basically the same thing but confused as to why they didn't mention that while i was ordering. Maybe they ran out of footlong dogs and buns... Maybe they were tight on bags until their next truck... Still made things a little more complicated for me then needed and would be more understanding if they just let me know.

I love our sonic but there are sometimes they just don’t get things right. I got a BLT and tots and it was all cold. I go there pretty much daily for my water and things don’t have much problems the carhops are very friendly but they need to not serve cold food I will find another place to give my money to it was awful.

The food is usually decent, but good luck finding a stall that works properly. Owners need to fix the stalls. The carhops are having to do extra because owners are too lazy to fix issues.

The servers are usually really nice. But the food is ok.. don't really go for breakfast much anymore. They serve less and less in the burritos Everytime we go Also, the screens are always frozen..

I rarely go to sonic as over the years there food quality as suffered and portions and sizes have shrunk considerably. This one was consistent with most sonics. I used be a fan of sonic, sad that they taken the path o the grocery stores, less for more $.

My mom and I was visiting Glen Rose and wanted a snack and ice cream. The food was hot and good but was disappointed that Sonic doesn't make ice cream cones anymore and they don't carry custard ice cream anymore either.

I think this is the fastest service I've ever gotten from a Sonic. My food was delivered in a very timely manner. The hamburger was well prepared and the tots were nice and crisp. However, apparently, the definition of "easy ice" is to fill the cup half way with the stuff. What word do I need to use to only get a small amount of ice put into the cup? Let's say no more than a quarter of the cup. What word does that take?

My wife and I stopped here for some cold drinks after a day of hiking. Before leaving, we asked for a refill on our water and were told "the manager said we can't give free refills on drinks." "Even on water", I asked? "Even on water." What does this policy even accomplish besides making them look cheap?

Dont show up here close to closing, your order will be sub par. Ordered a Reese blast, half of it was just vanilla ice cream, they hardly blended it. Wife ordered a hot fudge sundae, all she got was vanilla ice cream with a little fudge drizzled on it, not worthy of being called a hot fudge sundae.

Had to wait an extremely long time it seemed like for out food it was just at the tail end of the lunch rush that's possibly why, and then when we did get our food the fries didn't seem very fresh neither did the tots. Burgers were cold or I'd say room temperature to be fair.

Ordered 30 bucks worth of food only to have my sons corn dog not be done. Batter was still raw in the middle. Mgr said they come frozen so how could it be raw??? Then I ordered the double bacon cheese burger and it had one pattie. When I called back the mgr new it was me because of the caller ID. Replaced both that’s why they got 2 stars. Just make sure to check all of your food. Open up and take a bite before you leave.

When I arrived, there were 4 other cars there. I was on the phone, so I waited to push the button until I was done with my call. 2 cars had left by then. I pushed the button, and the other 2 cars had left by the time the worker came on to ask for my order, 4 minutes later. I ordered a small cherry slush and a soft pretzel twist. No there cars had arrived. Nearly 10 minutes later, out comes my food. The carhop was pleasant, which is why this isn't one star. My pretzel was burnt. How is it possible that it took so long and I couldn't even get a soft pretzel out of it? "Soft" is literally in the name of the item. They should call it a "crispy pretzel twist" if they're going to cook it so long. It was nearly black on one side, and still a dark brown on the rest of it. Very disappointing.

Ordered through the app, missing two burritos and all my sauce for everything. Missing icing for the dessert. No special sauce with my chicken sandwich, no marinara sauce with the cheese sticks. No ketchup for the fries. Idk how an order can be misinterpreted so badly.

The service here Lately has Honestly Sucked, you order stuff online, the car hopes bring it out 1-dont greet you 2-push it at you,like here be gone 3- don't ask if there is anything else you need 4- greet you off,like have a nice day,anything I go here cause it's the only place for flavored drinks,but here Lately they can't even get those right. Tell the GM,and still nothing gets done right. She speaks to them,but it's like when she's not there,who cares....she won't know.. These kids and ppl running this place and other restaurants, need to go back in time and see how it was done. And learn how it's supposed to be done and take of your customers 100% ALL THE TIME.

They don’t follow normal hours. They open and close whenever they feel like it. Twice now, I have pulled into the parking lot an hour before the listed closing and they have shut the lights off as I was pulling in and said they were closed.

A couple of ice creams was all we wanted at 5:30 in the afternoon..... Waited 10 and nothing on the screens still after we placed our order. I gave up and left.... Nobody ever came out and it just wasn't worth the wait anymore

I got the breakfast burrito it had tot which I didn't want or ask for their salsa taste strange like it's made with vinegar. Nasty and their drinking taste terrible I don't think they keep their ice covered and it tasted like old frier grease. And that with all of them.

They where extremely busy I waited from 3:45 pm until 4:07 pm to be waited on .. I ordered food and a happy hour lemonade said could not honor the happy hour price ,. Even tho o was there way before 4:00 pm .. It's not my fault they took so long .. Out of principle I went else were ..

Ordered food. Didnt get it all the first time. Then the foot long coney didnt have chili or cheese. Then they said they would get it rt out. 30 mins later still didnt get it. Had to call them again. Then they bring a 6 inch coney. Told them that was wrong again. So a guy brings it back out with $9 out of his own pocket cause they shut the registers down. I think the guy should be reimbursed...

Every time I order on line I don't get what I order, I justordeted a new garlic butter cheeseburger and all I got is bread meat and cheese,can't wait for Whataburger to open up!!!!!!!

Must be understaffed, went on a Sunday afternoon and pressed red button to order. Was told to hold. 8 minutes later no response (red light still blinking meaning on hold). So I just left. Had a whole car full of people wanting to eat and drink. Went somewhere else.

For the second time my tater tots were unedible. They tasted like the grease was old and was used for fish or something. The difference this time is my hot dog bun was stale and rock hard.

Ordered online the largest cheese sticks, 3.10.22, and every single one was burnt and all the cheese blew out.. most of them were stuck in one be cheese burnt glob.. pathetic. Oh and forgot bacon on our burgers.. How hard is it to read English and follow instructions.. its not like you had to make any of it from scratch guys!!

Disgusted! Went here with my family thinking it was like any other sonic. I was dead wrong. The vast majority of the employees were vaping as soon as a car pulled up. They all gathered next to us and vaped and were extremely loud. Yup! They got our order wrong. Born and raised in oak cliff texas, this one in glen rose lacks appropriate management. Why does every town try to be "hood" if you experience the real deal you try to escape that not recreate it. They were getting high off "delta 8 and delta 10" - loud mouth. Lack of God.

We were so excited to try the new cheese steak sandwich but were very disappointed. It was delivered to us, we opened it up, and there was barely any meat (mostly onions), and no cheese. We pushed the red button to inform them of our missing cheese. The worker came out (named Hunter Smith), and told us that they cook the meat IN cheese and thats why we didnt see any on the sandwich. I did some research and found out that was a lie. They chose to lie to us rather than remake the sandwich. Lazy. Terrible service and disappointing meal.

We went here a little while back during happy hour and haven't gone back since. We had a pretty simple order that consisted of about 10-12 drinks, because who doesn't love Sonic Happy Hour drinks?!?!?! They seemed incredibly busy so after ten minutes of waiting I wasn't really phased, but at this point, I began making mental notes of which cars began arriving after us and which of those were leaving while we were still there. Just to be safe, because sometimes workers just have bad days, I waited another 10 minutes. After 20 minutes had gone by I began getting frustrated. I called them and they said they were sorry, but were very busy. I informed them of people coming and going since we got there and they apologized again. They said they would be out soon. Another 10 minutes went by and still no drinks. I called back and they said they were "working on them". By this point, my wife is doing research on who we can contact regarding this "experience". 15-20 minutes later we FINALLY get our drinks. The server apologizes. I'm nice to her but at this point I'm pretty well fuming on the inside. Used to, Sonic would give you these tokens when they mess up. Just a little way to say "Sorry for our mistake...here's a free drink." Nothing was offered to us as a way to make up for us waiting over 45 minutes for our drink. NOTHING. Some would say "I would've just left" and sure, I could have, but we didn't really have anything pressing to get to and it was like 110 degrees outside..plus we had already paid. So my wife contacted someone through the Sonic website. I think maybe it was the GM or an area manager or something along those lines. They apologized, of course, but that was pretty much it. They then tried justifying it by talking about how that is one of their busiest times of the day because of Happy Hour. My wife let them know that it was absolutely unacceptable of course. It was a pretty unproductive phone call. No offer to make things right...not even an offer of "You're right. I'm going to talk to those employees and we are going to figure out what went wrong. This is unacceptable." They just didn't seem sorry, or even that surprised that it happened.

Waited for years(40 mins) for the food. Ordered like two things. A drink and snack……like that’s so sad.

I didn't know they had fish sandwich well they need fry the fish in a separate fryer so the chicken sandwich doesn't taste like fish nasty

Sonic’s corporate has put out a BOGO deal on burgers and coneys. I want to preface that this location did not say they weren’t participating in the deal. We went to this location to utilize this deal. Upon arrival they told us “you can only get the deal through the app” so we tried to order on the app and this location in Glen Rose does not allow online orders. They told us we needed to delete and redownload the app which we did. And again it says “the location does not allow online ordering.” The person taking our order was rude and would not do anything to help with the situation only stating “ we definitely do online orders and they can’t do anything to help.” We will be notifying corporate but wanted to let everyone locally know not to expect this location to honor any deals that sonic offers.

Tonight I had the pleasure of staring at a screen for 10 minutes without a single reply. The glow of the "red button activated" warmed my heart after watching employees stand around the kitchen occasionally looking over at my vehicle. There was 2 other vehicles at this sonic. So in no way possible were they backed up or short staffed. Its great to see the "fight for $15" fast food workforce giving "maximum" effort.
