Ordered curbside. Arrived at the restaurant 15 min before our order was scheduled to be ready... They brought it out within 10 min BEST steaks ever!!! So tender and flavorful!! Great job!!

We went there for my birthday! Had a delicious steak dinner with baked potatoes, corn, salad, broccoli cheese soup and onion strings as an appetizer. The service was fantastic. I initially ordered a prime rib that wasn't marked as such. I didn't really like it at all so they switched it out for a different steak that I just loved! Great atmosphere. Nice & relaxing & quiet. The table ended up marking up my shirt cuz they had done work on it the day before & it turned out it wasn't yet dry. To compensate me for my messed up shirt they gave us a couple free dinner cards. More than the shirt cost which I thought was very fair & then some. So we ended up with a great dinner & they gave me a birthday discount too. We will definitely be going back!

Red was our server and she was absolutely amazing! She was genuine which is so rare these days. The food was phenomenal and it was quite and comfortable.

WOW...my wife and I ate there Saturday for our 19th wedding anniversary and that was far and away the best chicken fry we've ever had overall one of the best restaurant meal I've ever had I can't say enough good things about this place waitress was a tad disengaged but the food was so good we didn't even care

It was our first time there. We showed up about lunch time and it was busy, but the service and good were great. Everything came our in a timely manner. We really enjoyed it!

Food was great had the lunch special strip stake with broccoli and jalapeño soup. I don't recommend any of the lemonades (both tasted like cough syrup ) my it was just today that they didn't taste good. The service was good but does take longer than some other places.

The food and service are top rate at this place. We had the steak with poblano sauce and it was over the top delicious. The steak was so tender I could cut it with a fork. Also tried the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy. It was amazing. Just the right amount of heat. I can’t wait to come back!!!

Fast and efficient service, the filet was really good and the brownie dessert was awesome! The steak salad was okay - but probably shouldn't have gone to a steak restaurant and ordered a salad. Overall, a good dinner and I was extremely impressed with how fast all our food came out.

I had the Chicken Fried Steak and baked potato with a side salad. The white gravy had Jalapeños in it and gave it a nice little kick. Topped it off with a dessert of warm peach cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Very tasty. We had a group of 7. We were seated very fast and our waitress was attentive and very efficient.

Prime rib and chicken fried steak were superb! Our server Jael was kind, fun, and helpful.

This place is amazing! The food was incredible and Reds service was exceptional. The fried green tomatoes were wonderful and tasty. Can't wait to visit again.

The service was quick, friendly and we got our food fresh and delicious. There was only 2 of us so we sat at the bar. I've been here a dozen times and their very consistent. I didnt get a pic of the warm rolls but they were so great they vanished quickly. Lol!

First time to a Hoffbrau--my husband and I went to have a steak dinner, I got the 6oz filet and he got a ribeye. Waiter was very gracious and food arrived quickly. My steak dissolved in my mouth and had a lot of flavor and was cooked correctly. My husband once he cut away the outer fat ended up with only about 4oz of steak. He made a comment to our waiter who sent the manager Richie over. Richie came over, announced that he heard about the problem, agreed when he saw the plate, asked if we had time for him to make my husband another steak and then brought it out perfectly and in a quick manner. It was such a simple thing but the way he handled this should be taught to other establishments. He didn't make him rehash his issue, didn't make him feel bad, immediately offered a legitimate solution (that didn't leave my husband hungry) and handled it all with grace, professionalism and speed. We have been to higher end steakhouses that wouldn't have handled it this well. Bravo to Richie for doing the right thing, the right way. Second steak was more appropriate amount of fat, still cooked perfectly and flavorful...no sacrifices when trying to quickly get him the steak. Very happy with this experience.

Five stars even though there was a few things that didnt go well. Went before the dinner rush which was nice so out food came out pretty fast. The texas pesos were good but spicy! I like the heat so I enjoyed them but my companions didnt. The Rainey's salad was super good each grilled and crispy chicken was cooked perfect. We asked for no eggs though but end up picking them off (oh well) the ribeye 10oz steak was cooked perfect as well. I had the catfish which I enjoyed. Over all great service and would visit again.

This is a good looking restaurant! Not too chill on this chilly night. We were very comfortable. There were 4 of us and we got the Sal steak and the catfish and shrimp. The steaks were a-ma-zing! Juicy and very flavorful! The shrimp had a really good flavor and the catfish, which is overdone in a lot of local restaurants, was just right! The bonus was our waitress. Brittany treated us like we were her best friends! She was thoughtful and attentive without hovering. She is responsible for our good experience here. We will be back! I want to try that Cowboy Chicken Fried Steak!!!

Our food was excellent. But our waitress seemed to forget about us. Now, I've said it before and I'll say it again, my husband has a weird allergy which we talk about up front. So we know what we can and can't order. We placed our order and it came out covered in the very thing we requested to remove. The person bringing our food didn't bat an eye when we sent the did back, but our waitress seemed slightly offended.... And from that point forward she basically ignored us. We had to flag her down for everything after that. But the food was really good.

If I was going to rate Hoffbrau on food alone, then this likely wouldn't be as high (good but not mind blowing). But the atmosphere and service was excellent (both rare in there times.) Our waitress was wonderful and went above and beyond. My girlfriend got a house salad took a bite and didn't like it and put it aside. When the waitress saw she offered to take it back and bring a new side, we politely declined. But a high standard was reached from there. Reasonable prices and the sausage with Dr Pepper BBQ sauce was tasty as well as my chicken fried chicken, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. My girlfriends steak came out perfectly cooked to request and it setup a very pleasant evening.

Our waitress Ana was awesome! We came from DFW area for a show in Granbury. I would highly recommend this place. The food was delicious and the apps were more than enough to feed 4. Next time we visit, we will be coming here.

Hannah was our server for the night. She did fantastic, everything came out as ordered, knew the menu very well, kept the drinks full. Prices are some of the best compared to some other chain steakhouses. I wanted to point out a few things that are small details that I appreciated, the lettuce under the side dishes so they don’t slide around, brining a designated steak knife (larger than the one in the rolled up napkin). I felt like the atmosphere is exactly what a restaurant should be: come in and relax, let us take care of you! Teamwork was visible as well. All around great service!

In my opinion they have the best chicken fried steak, and of course their steaks did not disappoint either. Make sure to save some room for the peach cobbler. I used to go to the Dallas location many years back. I can't find anything in Dallas to match food mainly the chicken fried steak, so I'm happy to find this restaurant on the way of my monthly trips to Stephenville.

Everyone was super nice and our waitress kept coming to check on us. We went on a Friday night and even that didn’t matter super fast service. For an appetizer, we ordered the brown chips with queso and I couldn’t complain. The food came out nice & hot. I got the chicken fried chicken and it was so juicy and tender. I will definitely go back again! For two ppl under $60 dollars.

It was amazing!! Steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great! Shrimp were wonderful! Very cozy atmosphere and super pretty and friendly staff! Would absolutely go back!

Sal's Ribeye was literally so good I ordered a 2nd one after finishing my 1st. Damn near perfect steak. The hostesses asked if a specific table type was okay with me, the bartender was helpful and informative, the waitress was so sweet and attentive, the manager came and talked to me and recommended a local beer that was amazing. This was by far and away my best restaurant experience while visiting Texas and I'm looking forward to coming back when I am in the area again. Definitely recommend for a relaxed atmosphere with some great food. Thanks again!

The smile, the quick service, and the professionalism .. We each had a variety of plates, and all were fantastic. The Manager on duty tonight stopped by our table to check on how our visit was going for dinner. We surprised her by doing 3 loud cheers for Brittany.. Truly enjoyed tonight's dinner. Food 5/5: I had the filet/shrimp for my bday. The steak tasted great. My wife and I agreed it didn't look/feel like a filet but it was delicious nonetheless. The shrimp are actually seasoned after being deshelled and cooked. Most places just season the water. The shrimp tasted great too. I ordered my meal with a salad and the machine n cheese. Both were good as well. My wife ordered chicken fried steak which was ok. Nothing screamed Hoffbrau. Service 5/5: We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress in a timely manner. She was sweet and you can tell she was experienced (I didn't catch her name). Food and drinks all came out in a timely manner. Atmosphere 4.5/5: There was a torn cushion on our bench and the bench was pushed really close to the table. Although we moved it back just enough to get in, we could hear a new group complain how tight it was for them to get in too. These were the 2 seats next to the kitchen door in the far back right corner.

Not your typical Hoff brau but a great meal! The steaks were perfectly cooked and juicy and flavorful, the potatoes nicely prepared and topped and tasty house salads. Really enjoyed the blue cheese dressing!

Normally don't eat out a lot. Excellent service and food. My daughter said best chopped steak ever! Macaroni was also amazing. Will definitely be back when I have to fight the crazy Granbury traffic!

We wanted some good steak while in Texas. I found this on my list of places to eat while in Granbury. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were seated fairly quick for a Saturday night, a nice long booth that as many as 6 people could have been seated at. The waitress gave us the best Texas service, she made some great recommendations and we were pleased with everything. I ordered the patio punch and the onion strings for appetizers. The ranch dressing had a nice little kick. Then I chose a side salad and my husband got the broccoli cheese soup with a little spice and some hot rolls. We both ordered the smoked sirloin and it just melted in my mouth. It was tender and delicious. I had a baked sweet potato and he had a baked potato. We ended up taking some home with us because we were really full just halfway through our meal. It was such a a great atmosphere and I can’t say enough about that friendly Texas hospitality. Definitely going to come back next time we are in Granbury.

My husband and I are new to Grandbury and he wanted to take me some where nice but casual after a day of unpacking. We found Hoffbrau and decided to try it. We have a Hoffbrau in San Antonio but it is completely different from this one. We waited less than 10 minutes to e seated, our server was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is cozy and the ambience is light. We will definitely return! My husband has the chicken fried steam with a loaded bake potato and broccoli. I had the grilled chicken, loaded baked potato and a salad. We each had drinks to enjoy with our dinner. We alsoll ordered dessert, which was also very delicious!!! Highly recommended!

This. Place. Is. Amazing. We literally loved everything, and my steak was cooked to perfection and the catfish was crispy and delicious. We have eaten at MANY steakhouses. No frills, just delicious food. Not to mention, you are greeted promptly by truly caring staff/owners. We will probably eat here once or twice a month from now on!

We stopped there to eat in our Roadtrip. Brittany our waitress was super attentive and took great care of us. Our 1.5 year old daughter got some crayons to paint and some extra tomato cubes and cheese to snack while we waited for the food. Ribs and burger were super tasty. Definetely a recommendation.

A very nice place. Very rustic looking. The food was very good. Had the Good Bird which was a chicken breast with a light BBQ glaze. It was very good. The steak fries needed no ketchup. My husband had the Fried Catfish and he said it was really good. Would go back again whenever we are on Stephenville, Texas again.

I had the fried catfish plate there. It was perfectly fried and seasoned. Waitress was a bit slow on the service, but nothing serious. Overall a good place to get some casual food.

Everything was on point except the steak. “Bring a chainsaw”. Well… we had the smoked sirloin, so ribeye & filet may be different. We didn’t try that. My wife had the Bandera Pork Chop, which was a little dry but kind of understandable as most restaurants feel like they have to overcook it for “safety” reasons. Chelsea was our bartender and she made the best old fashioned drinks. Atmosphere and service like I said was perfect. The sirloin definitely needs tenderizing. Poor old Bill. Lol! Can’t say as I would pass up the place, but order to the liking. Cheers!

I had the grilled salmon which comes with soup or salad served on a bed of spinach and a side of grilled corn on the cob. The salmon was beautifully cooked and seasoned well and balanced well with the spinach and corn. The salad wasn't​ particularly interesting so maybe I should have gotten soup. We also got fried pickles as an appetizer which was a bit in the salty side.

We were at your restaurant the last two times and our ribeye steaks were not as good as we had about a month ago. The was alot of fat and grizzled. Plus it being outside on the patio it was hard trying to find our server for things we needed.

We are in Granbury, TX for the weekend! Never been here before so we are looking for to some new experiences and great memories! Went to Hoffbrau Steak & Grill for dinner. There was plenty of parking as we went about 5:00pm. There is inside and outdoor seating available, as well as table, booth, and bar seating available as well. Our server was Julian and she was very polite and attentive to our needs. We’d give the restaurant a 4/5 simply because our proteins were GREAT, but the sides missed the mark on taste (few things tasted reheated and unpleasant). But the staff was friendly, loved the rustic decor, and customer service was great

This is a fun environment. Sort of an authentic Texan environment and rustic. It was very clean, and the serving staff was phenomenal! Ask for Red! She was amazing and could anticipate our needs, and she followed up continually to ensure our drinks were full. Their strawberry margaritas were delicious! I would go back just for the marg! The only negative comment I have is that the mashed potatoes didn't taste like fresh mashed potatoes. They were sort of gluey. However, the jalapeño gravy on the chicken fried steak was delicious! I would order that again, get extra gravy only because it was amazing! The hamburger was good, too. If you're a soup person, be sure and try their jalapeño brocolli cheese soup! It's spicy and perfect! Get the bowl because the cup just isn't enough. Oh, be sure to start with their candied bacon appetizer... order two, because they go fast!

Hoffbrau was a good experience with an expansive, varied menu. We had expected German cuisine, but what they had was good and not very expensive.

Our first time here. It wasn't very busy. Our waitress kept forgetting to get my husbands drink. Service was slow. Food was ok. My steak was over cooked.

We decided to visit after my Daughters graduation. Once seated the waitress was switched and our appetizer was lost in translation. We ordered sweet tea and it tasted unsweetened. For the price of the food I was not impressed. The manager did fix the appetizer issue and took it off the bill. So that was greatly appreciated. The waitress was not very friendly... I probably would not return here to eat again. I have a hard time paying for food I can cook better at home. It was supposed to be a celebration for the whole family.

The chicken fried steak is chewy and although it has gravy it isn't enough of it to cover up the chewiness. It was pretty tough to eat. The service was good and so was the macaroni and cheese. I'm still not sure about those steak fries.

Standalone steak restaurant with plenty of parking. Restaurant is clean and in good order. Our waitress was very very nice, helpful and attentive. The rolls and drinks were very good. The cheese relleno w was very good as were the baked potatoes. But the steaks were pitiful. Our medium rare bone in cowboy ribeye and Sal's ribeye were very very tough and flavorless. The quality of the $30+ cuts was more like $7 butchers special. We were so disappointed. We both had fond memories of Hoffbrau steaks from years ago. Guess they have gone downhill. Can not recommend.

I was super excited to try this place! The customer service was absolutely PHENOMENAL Ms Riley was the server her Patience and Kindness was everything. She could definitely be a trainer for the rest of the businesses of the world who have servers… If ONLY they could get the quality of the food in line with the customer service I would definitely consider returning! Everything was just bland & cold! & i will NOT be returning.

The steaks were good and was very consistent for a chain restaurant. The seating and service was good.

We eat here regularly and are always pleased. We do order delivery and do carry out. That's what I'm rating so low. The food is always cold like it's been sitting. The salads aren't even 3 bites and is room temperature. They never include rolls even though we request them. Tonight the chicken fried chicken was half grisel. Very disappointed!!

Service was great. I'm not a big fan of their food but there were lots of people waiting. Just because it isn't my favorite doesn't mean you won't love it. Give it a try

Hostess was very unfriendly and rude, not how you want to start your meal. Had a 10oz Sirloin, it was just meh, the worst part is it just turns to mush in your mouth, very offputting, I would not suggest ever getting their Sirloin, in retrospect it was horrible. My Waitress was Red, and she was very nice.

I work close to this restaurant so often order food to go. Normally I’m pleased with food and service but today’s visit was disappointing to say the least. I would have gone back to complain but I didn’t have the time. Ordered ground steak , side salad , bake potato with chives, butter and sour cream only. The salad looked so sad, brown and wilted that I didn’t even eat it, the potato had no chives, and there was cheese and bacon mixed in with butter and sour cream so I couldn’t remove. This was not a hard order. Do better. I ordered at the bar and the attendant was not as friendly as I’ve dealt and seemed indifferent. May need to rethink going back and try Spring Creek next door

The Girls

Dry, salty meat but cooked to a prefect medium. Cheese never really melted. Lettuce was saggy. The pie-plate spun around every time I touched it. Really nice people though!

They mix fish and other foods in the same oil. Big fish allergies in the family. We made she the server knew. She explained everything was made in the same oil. I thought that was apart of health code. But who knows. Just make sure yall speak up with any allergies. and the whiskey is watered down

We ordered Hoffbrau to go and our food containers were squished, rolls were cold, and they forgot 2 of our items... Called to let them know and the lady on phone did not even say sorry or offer to make it up. How is this acceptable?

Sat down right away but waited for 15 min and had many waitresses and waiters walk by us and never even acknowledge us. When we decided to leave we saw 2 waitresses sitting on their phone by the front door.

I looked forward to meeting friends at this restaurant and enjoying a good meal and a visit. The food was good.... but the waitress was incredibly rude. She seemed to be bothered to take my order and had no sense of humor. She didn’t introduced herself. I asked for her name when I checkout. Delaney acted like she was doing a charity work (doing me a favor). I hope the $20 tip I left her changed her attitude towards the customers.

Went to the bar to have a couple of drinks and food and the bartender, one of them named Emily was the most unfriendliest bartender. Really brings the whole mood down. Either she hates her job or she only wants to be nice and wait on older men. If you're going to be a bartender, you should at least have a smile on your face when customers sit down and be friendly to everyone and WAIT ON EVERYONE NOT JUST older men. When Madison was the bartender, she was very friendly and had a great personality and waited on everyone. This girl Emily was as stuck up as she could be. Do better Hoffbrau and get some better bartenders!

I used to love hoffbrau. Either the kitchen didn't give a crap because it was a take out order, or this restaurant has SERIOUSLY declined in the quality of there food. I dont expect my Togo order to be perfect. But I was given literally ground beef instead of a steak. There 10 Oz ribeye must've been ran through a meat grinder and then smashed back together before they cooked it. Thats a really expensive plain hamburger patty.
