Manhattan prices all the way out in Great Neck. A croissant sandwich with a single egg and a slice of American cheese is $11. To put that in perspective, a nice french bakery charges about $4.50 for a croissant, most places charge about $2 for an egg, and 50 cents for a slice of American cheese. For a coffee shop to be charging anything more than $7-$8 for this outside Manhattan is ridiculous. A small bottle of Poland spring water is $2.50. So for $13.50 I got a small croissant, an egg, a slice of American cheese, and small bottle of Poland spring water. Rip off.

Can’t speak for the food, but my iced latte was pretty bad. Customer service was good though. If you’re looking for espresso, this place is a skip.

Crawfords Coffee in Great Neck has a pretty atmosphere at first glance, but the experience overall did not really land for me. The coffee and avocado toast were average and nothing stood out enough to justify the price or the effort it takes to get here. The vibes felt a little strange during my visit. The staff seemed overworked and stretched thin which made the service feel rushed and disconnected even though they were clearly trying their best. It created an energy that made it hard to relax or enjoy the space. Parking was another issue. It is inconvenient and really not worth the hassle especially for a place that does not deliver a standout experience. With so many other good options nearby I probably will not be coming back.

This is my second time getting an açaí bowl. I have asked to get mangoes added, which was $1. And I have gotten unripe mangoes. If this was the case and if they didn’t have any ripe mangoes, they could have just let me know.

Overpriced and low quality. I ordered 2 drinks, 1 bagel with cream cheese, & 1 croissant with Tuna salad (unusual but decided to try something new); paid a little over $30. The bagel was most definitely a Lenders frozen bagel that you buy at the grocery store. The bagel was over $3 and was absolutely tiny. I ordered 1 frozen coffee and it tasted like instant coffee. My partner ordered a vanilla cappuccino and we tasted no vanilla. The croissant was burned and the tuna was soaking the sandwich. We also had to clean the table ourselves before sitting to dine in. Save yourself the expense and go elsewhere.

I came in at 9:30 and ordered a croissant with egg and cheese. It came out pretty quickly since I was the only one there. The sandwich was $10.15. This price is crazy to me because first the atmosphere is not even cute, the pastry display had old stale looking muffins. It’s basically manhattan prices. Once I got my sandwich it looked burnt, rushed and there was no seasoning. It literally tasted like hospital food. I ended up throwing the entire thing away. I don’t recommend this place at all. It really was a huge disappointment.

Disappointed visit. We were in the area so we wanted to check out this new café near us. Ordered a latte, no disrespect to the staff, but it tasted disgusting. Coffee is bitter and it tasted like the milk is spoiled. I hope Management sees this review & works on their quality.

Came here around noon on a Sunday, not crowded at all. Staff acted like they were annoyed that we came in to order. They seemed like we were inconveniencing them for coming in to get coffee, although they were nice to some other patrons that were there (perhaps they were friends). The iced coffee was not good. It tastes very acidic like the actual beans were low quality. The actual atmosphere/design of the cafe was good - neat and clean. However, the poor quality of the coffee and customer service made this an unpleasant trip.

Overpriced and underwhelming food. Everything has an extra charge. I tried to order an avocado toast but then I realized that it was literally smashed avocado over bread, with one topping. If you would like anything more than one topping, it's an additional $1.25. I also ordered a cream cheese bagel and let me tell you... it was saddest looking bagel ever, kind of an embarrassment to New York. The bread looked like it was flattened and barely had any cream cheese filling. Plus, they refused to share their wifi password DESPITE there being a wifi tagged: CrawfordsGuests. Do yourself a favor and skip out on this spot. There are plenty of spots within a 5 minute drive with much better coffee and pastries.
