Haven't been to a Straw Hat Pizza in over 10 years. Stopped here after a photoshoot because traffic was backed up on the 92 due to an accident. I told the cashier this and they were kind enough to come let me know traffic cleared up once they had gotten the word. Small town vibes, and I loved it. Everything went fine and the establishment was clean. The only thing was they got me with the front door that says Push, but really you had to Pull 🤣 or vice versa. Took me a minute to realize and it gave me a good laugh. The small pepperoni pizza was really good too! Enough for leftovers.

Customer service at it's finest.. We went on a road trip down the coast to half moon bay.. the views were great and the ocean fresh air was awesome. Believe it or not the highlight of our getaway was a pit stop for a bite to eat , Straw hat pizza was Accommodating with 2 kids we order a thirds PIZZA Hawaiian / Pepperoni / Mushrooms .... This is one of my favorite places to eat when in or near Half Moon Bay. The pizza is soooo good. We now live 4 1/2 hrs away and when we visit we order a pizza and enjoy it there in the restaurant. It's a nice atmosphere with TV's to watch the games if playing. It's a clean place to eat and the service is fast and friendly. We've gone so much that they know us here and it's like coming home. Affordable and well worth it. You can call ahead and pick up as well. The salad bar when open is soooo good too. Clean restrooms as well.

This place is like a treasure trove in Half Moon Bay. The atmosphere is simple and a hodge podge of collectible items from your childhood. The pizzas, the garlic bread and everything edible there is delicious. The staff is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable even for a big group. You definitely need to stop by and try their garlic twist and their nice this crust. Delicious!!!

Ok. I'm a native to Tahoe, and I live in Sacramento. I've had pizza from this chain all over the state. However I would like to mention that this particular location is on point, and off the chain. You got everything perfect. The crust had the proper crisp, the sauce was the best I've had from anything in California. Toppings, were over the top, and if I had to introduce someone to what pizza in California should taste like, I want them to have something from your restaurant! This ladies and Gentlemen, represented what this state has to offer. Kind, courteous service with a smile behind a mask 😷 . Keep on with the awesome. WE SHALL RETURN! Thanks.

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered a salad a drink and a small pizza. Salad was great, everything was fresh and delicious. The small pizza was a combination with extra cheese and it was served piping-hot and was excellent as well. I'm not sure about the reviews from people when they haven't actually had food from this place but we have decided we will definitely return here the next time we're in the area.

Fantastic food! Staff is extremely nice. Super relaxing time having pizza here. Sounds of people getting off 92 can be a distraction, but not a huge issue. I'll happily come back for more soon!

I love me some straw hat!! And this location in half moon bay is outstanding. I've eaten here several times and the pizza has been delish every time. This last time we had a combo and a ground beef pizza and both were flavorful with a delicious crust and yummy sauce. Service was quick and the pizza was nicely crisp. Well done!

Pizza is always fresh, clean tables, fast service for a good price even tho price went up a dollar or two for pizza(inflation) still cheapest in town, RT is better..(no hate) but this gets the job done, will be back for more

The nicest cleanest most awesome straw hat you're going to find! They're pretty much open later than everybody else. Their food is always consistent they are very professional they are very personable.. and the place is always clean. I recommend this pizza place to absolutely anybody it's great. The people that work there people that make pizzas, they're all really great people. Check it out. See for yourself. By the way the combination with everything is really really good!

The problem was the obvious lack of maintenance: The decorations on the walls are very dirty The arcade area is now storage. The bathrooms are in need of repairs. The large freezer is clearly leaking. The outside patio is hosting someone's decaying workout device. Even the shop van seems to be the perfect symbol of this restaurant's current condition. The logo seems to be painted with something like house paint, and in desperate need of repair. The location owner really needs to step up and provide this location with the help it needs. The food is good, and the staff is great. But it's obvious who isn't pulling their weight .

Quick pizza stop. They can get you a pizza within 10 mins. Look it’s not the best pizza you will eat but decent enough. Unfortunately no picture was taken but the lady working the cashier was friendly and nice. Yes I’ll grab more food there if I’m in the surrounding.
