Pizza House Highland Reviews
I’ve had pizza all over the country and would consider myself a connoisseur of pizza, if there was such a thing. With that said, this was an excellent pizza! I don’t want to call the pizza simple as that may be offensive, but I just like a good ole pizza, and this was it. Good crust, cheese, sauce, and pepperoni cooked to a golden brown. Also the sauce for the knots was amazing!
Sierra was absolutely amazing provided great service and super friendly highly recommended !!!
Just try it ... nothing more to say.
By all means, the best pizza I have tasted in the Hudson Valley area, bar none. Starting with a great tasting crust to the toppings, just a delicious pizza. Typical strip mall atmosphere but hey, if delicious pizza is what you're after, stop here.

Very good food Cool people Clean Comfortable
Rinos Highland is hands down my favorite pizzeria in the area. As a bronx native, I know good pizza and this is it. From their gourmet slices to their lunch and dinner menu, Rinos never disappoints! Ciara at the highland location always recognizes my family when we come in and knows we like our slices crispy! Exceptional food and service from all staff. Definitely check them out and make them your go to spot! Wont regret it!
Service was great Shoutout to Gino for the penne slice me and my girlfriend tried. 10/10
We ordered 14 pizzas and they had them ready 45 minutes later. The pizzas were delicious! Their service was excellent! I don’t live in the area but if I’m ever back I’ll get another pizza from here again.
Best Pizza in Ulster County. Nick makes fantastic pies. Dave Portnoy should do a review here!

Happily surprised with the pepperoni slice I had; sauce had nice flavor, thicker than normal pepperoni was a nice touch, nice crust/char as well...I'd definitely go back for other slice options, as their grandma slices looked pretty good too.
Really, really good pizza joint. Chicken noodle soup on point, pepperoni roll unique and HUGE. Best pizza in the Hudson Valley? I don't know about that... But definitely worth your time!

Great pizza. Never enough hot honey pepperoni slices though. Would recommend
Wasn’t a fan of the old spot here, This place is cool there food is way better quality than the past spot. Their mac and cheese sticks are a wavey touch, there my go to for mozzarella sticks especially since they throw me an extra one every one and a while. The pizza sauce? Easily the best part of anything. Ordered a “chicken cutlet” sandwich, but it was more like grilled chicken still tasty, just way too thin. Delivery was smooth, driver was cool, and the receptionist is precise and patient. Worth trying! I always order chicken cutlets from here some days it’s perfect other days it’s simply alright . They are quick to fix messed up orders which they rarely mess up. There only downside is there drivers never have change and I mean never they should be provided with change

Okay so, the garlic knots were the best thing. I ordered the penne ala vodka which would have been good if there was enough sauce. They give you a piece of bread with no sauce to dip it in. The side salad only comes with shaved carrots and a slice of tomato, no onions or olives. The food came a half an hour earlier than expected. I give only 3 stars due to lack of sauce and no utensils after specifying to add those. Otherwise the food was good just lacking things other Italian restaurants provide…first time ordering from there but I’ll have to check out the other spots around here you gotta be competitive in the food industry
Food is always so random. Some days it’s great and tonight it sucks. The salad came with lettuce and meat. Where are the seasonal veggies? Lol it’s not like you can’t tell me have the pizza toppings are veggies too?? Maybe hire some men over 18 and actually make eye contact with customers and say please and thank you.
Very tasty regular pizza. Has regular pizzaria fare. We stopped in for a slice each. I got plain and she got a piece of their specialty pie (buffalo chicken). Hers was good, not great. The counter girl that waited on us never smiled, never greeted us. Starts the customer experience off with her sour note. She took care of another customer in between tossing ours in the oven to warm it up. It came out over cooked (hot, hot, hot!) and the bottom and crust hard now that it was overcooked. We were just passing through after visiting family that lives close by. They love all the pizzas here. So, we had a crummy experience but it's probably worth a try again. Maybe it'll be better next time.

I was never a fan of Pizza Mia which is why I would drive to New Paltz to go to Rino's. You could imagine my excitement when I noticed that Rino's had replaced Pizza Mia. The pizza and food is definitely better than Pizza Mia, but its not the same as Rino's in New Paltz. Different energy, different Pizza and different service. I still prefer Rino's in New Paltz. Please bring Highland location to the same consistency as the original Rino's. I literally would over order bc everything looked so good that I couldn't resist and at the new location I struggle to find something that makes my mouth water and often they look over cooked. To be fair, I haven't ordered food yet. I strictly referring to Pizza. Oone could assume that you're using the same ingredients and following the same recipes so I'm left wondering why is it not the same even the crust is a different. Consistency is key.
"Spicy BBQ Wings" Those are wings covered in what I can only describe as flavored ketchup with red pepper flakes... I had forgotten why we never order from here. Thanks for reminding us.
$20 for a pie with uncooked ham. When I questioned them about the price I was told it was it was $1.25 per topping (however thier menus says .99cents) and 1.50 tax on a $12.99 pizza. When I asked for the receipt they couldn't produce one that showed the price they charged me. THIEVES selling nasty pizzas. NEVER AGAIN!

Over the last 6 to 8 weeks something has changed with the taste of the food. Had pizza 2 weeks ago, pepperoni, pepperoni/bacon and Buffalo chicken, none of them tasted good, threw the pizza away. Tonight we had the drunken chicken parm dinner and it tasted terrible, the vodka sauce had a tangy taste, 2 bites and both dinners went in the garbage. I don’t know if it’s new employees cooking or an indication of how the food will taste now that Rino’s has purchased the business that was Pizza Mia. Keep making food like this and the business won’t be open for long, not with the prices they charge.
