The best tasting pizza around! Don't take my word for it, stop in and try it for yourself.
Grew up in Manhattan, worked at plenty of pizzerias over the years. Stopped here on a whim as I was hungry. Didn’t expect such amazing pizza. I know pizza and to be that impressed trust me it’s a must have.
Best Spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever had. The food is no joke. I cross the river just for this.
Grab some lunch with coworkers. We had some pizza, garlic knots, and soup. Everything was great and the bowls of soup were massive!
I have been to many pizzerias in the area and this place has got to be the best I have tried. The bambino slice is a must try!!!
Wonderful traditional establishment! The staff are very professional and friendly, the food is always great and consistent! Lots of choices amd amazing specials!
Great tasting and attention to detail pizzas coming out of this joint! Follow their IG and pick your desirable pizza.
Love their marinara sauce. Whenever I'm near by I stock up. Love the pizza and have to have the garlic knots.
love this place! Great customer service and very friendly. Food comes right out 10/10 highly recommend.
Cured a problem with an order like it was easy as pie! Big shout out to Cierra. Luigi, promote her!
The best pizza ria i have ever ate with best tasting sauce and chicken wings and service blessed place
Pizza Mia in Highland has the best Pizza around. Large selection of grandma style pizzas with unique toppings that are always fantastic. We usually stop in for a few slices on our way to Poughkepsie. We recently tried some of the other goodies like hot wings which my husband loved, the Pepperoni Pinwheels, we loved them, and the Rice Ball oh boy it was fantastic. Pizza Mia crust and sauce makes the perfect pizza. I am sure i will be trying their pasta soon as the sauce ALWAYS taste fresh. Yum!!! They have a large selection of drinks as well.
I went in for two slices on lunch today for the firsts time I got a chicken bacon ranch and pepperoni slice. Let me tell you those are some of the best slices of pizza I’ve had in the area by far. Keep killing it I’ll be back again. I’m writing this as I finish the second slice that’s how delicious it is.
The staff at Pizza Mia in Highland are so friendly and welcoming and the pizza is GREAT! Gino went out of his way to make my husband the perfect Vegan pizza. We go to Pizza Mia every time we're in town.
Fantastic service, excellent pizza. The sauce for my garlic knots was super delicious. We had to get a second order of knots, they were so good. Captain tying knots over here.
My wife and I have ordered several times and every time it has been very good. We were initially worried about finding good pizza after moving to the area from Brooklyn, but this place is tasty and high quality.
this is the best pizza in town come here very often
The cheese pizza is THE BEST I've ever had. Same with the garlic knots. The fries are great too. My stomach is satisfied. 5/5.
The food so far is awesome! The sauce is delicious ! I want to try everything!
Got a caprese slice with balsamic glaze and it was out of this world!!!! Not only was the food amazing, the staff was very friendly and upbeat. My new favorite pizza spot.
I ordered the Stromboli and asked them to substitute ham and salami in replace of sausage and meatballs meatballs and they did it with no problem. The Stromboli was hot and crispy and loaded.
Had a delightful experience at Pizza Mia, lovely staff that were friendly and welcoming. Go there every Sunday, and the pizza guy is always on point. 10/10 would recommend.
I came to USA in 1954 from Germany..first Pizza taste ever was from another immigrant kid, named Raphael, who brought a whole pizza into 1st grade, made by his aunt who just came from Napoli....and that is exactly what Pizza Mia's pizza tastes like. This is the real thing, like the REAL Real Ray's was in the Village in the '60's. Or have our tastebuds been poisoned by too much Chain Store Pizza. Be Grateful they're here.
Loved the food and service. But wish the little kids toy restaurant was in the back still other then that 9.7
I'll tell you what I'm so happy pizza mia is gone they were horrible towards the end and now it's Rino's and let me tell you I've noticed better tasting food the second I took my first bite. The sauce tastes just like Rino's and the garlic knots are so much better I'm so happy Rino's has expanded into highland because I can taste the difference between when it was pizza mia and now Rino's the best pizza spot in newpaltz is now in highland woohoo 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Very delicious pizza. Perfect crust. Ciara provided amazing service too.
We ordered the family special of pizza, wings, knots and a 2 liter soda last night for such a great price of $26.99. Oh my, the food was amazing & fresh!! My husband can't stop raving about how good it was. I must say, when I ordered over the phone, the guy was so polite. Our delivery driver was very polite and friendly. I highly recommend them and wish I could give them 10 stars! We will definitely be ordering again. Thank you for all you do!
Great food I always get grilled chicken and pasta delicious. The counter person cierra is very pleasant and courteous.
My family loves pizza Mia for several reasons..its conveniently located just over the mid Hudson bridge, highland side. They have great pizza, wings and garlic knots. Service is always friendly and attentive. Prices are fair and they have a small kids play area, which, for us, is the best thing. Our kids can play before and after they eat while mom and dad chat and enjoy the food. Its win-win.
My husband and I have been coming here for food for so long now, always hot, fresh, and delicious. The crew is always very nice and friendly + knows us now when we come in. Looking for a great pizza spot, look no further! 😊
If you want fantastic pizza, this is the best place to go. It is constantly voted best pizzeria by multiple sources year after year and they deserve the kudos. The crust passes muster big time, the cheese is excellent and is the sauce. The variety seems endless. We are pizza hounds and no longer HAVE to go to NYC to satisfy a craving. The only criticism ( if it really is one) is that it's in a shopping strip and there is zero atmosphere. You order, eat and run. They could be a destination for the region if they stepped it up to restaurant standards. Never a worry with kids and everyone is nice. Prices are fine.
To start off, the customer service was great, and the vibes were really high. One of if not the best cheese slice I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommended. My friend ordered a chicken parm and he said it was amazing aswell. Will definitely be coming back!
An amazing family owned pizzeria. Only the best quality ingredients. The best garlic knots I have ever had!
Great people, excellent food, dynamite soup. I have to say, after moving up from Queens I missed that pizzeria/ restaurant where everything on the menu isn’t just edible but delicious. Pizza Mia is that place- reliable, delicious, friendly, generally on point. The staff makes you feel at home at my new home for all things pizza related.
Phenomenal pie as always. Best Gramdma pie around, hands down. Great people, friendly personalities, great delivery drivers. People who work here take pride in their service and treat people with respect and courtesy. That's not too common these days.
Don't be fooled by the location. This is first-class New York-style pizza. Try the classic margherita, and the cold antipasti salad. As good as anything you'll get in the city, for half the price.
This pizza place is absolute gassss I come here all the time and it will stay this way
This place runs like a well oiled machine. The staff is so courteous and friendly. My husband and I went in for dinner on a busy Friday night. We each ordered a plain slice, a specialty slice and garlic knots. It was all amazing!!! I can't say enough great things about this place. I can't wait to come back.
I’ve had pizza all over the country and would consider myself a connoisseur of pizza, if there was such a thing. With that said, this was an excellent pizza! I don’t want to call the pizza simple as that may be offensive, but I just like a good ole pizza, and this was it. Good crust, cheese, sauce, and pepperoni cooked to a golden brown. Also the sauce for the knots was amazing!
Sierra was absolutely amazing provided great service and super friendly highly recommended !!!
Just try it ... nothing more to say.
By all means, the best pizza I have tasted in the Hudson Valley area, bar none. Starting with a great tasting crust to the toppings, just a delicious pizza. Typical strip mall atmosphere but hey, if delicious pizza is what you're after, stop here.

Very good food Cool people Clean Comfortable
Rinos Highland is hands down my favorite pizzeria in the area. As a bronx native, I know good pizza and this is it. From their gourmet slices to their lunch and dinner menu, Rinos never disappoints! Ciara at the highland location always recognizes my family when we come in and knows we like our slices crispy! Exceptional food and service from all staff. Definitely check them out and make them your go to spot! Wont regret it!
Service was great Shoutout to Gino for the penne slice me and my girlfriend tried. 10/10
We ordered 14 pizzas and they had them ready 45 minutes later. The pizzas were delicious! Their service was excellent! I don’t live in the area but if I’m ever back I’ll get another pizza from here again.
Best Pizza in Ulster County. Nick makes fantastic pies. Dave Portnoy should do a review here!
Delicious pizza & awesome service. Check out their specialty pizzas - the Christmas special is amazing! Highly recommended
Outstanding pizza and the best service proud to support local! Congratulations to the Mazzella family well done !!!

Ordered Penne a le Vodka with chicken. Was yummy! My daughter loved it and she is a very picky eater. We will definitely be ordering again ❤
We ordered 3 subs. They were tasty. Only thing, maybe try a different kind of sub roll.
From Chicago. Nothing bad with the pie they produce. Good food. But I have a problem with slivers of Italian sausage on my pizza. It looks like pepperoni. And has no flavor like back home, but I understand the contintal differences. However wish some pie places could pick up the different flavors across the country and carry it everywhere.
This place has been my favorite eatery in town at the very least I'm there once a week. I like the gluten free pizza and the service is always great. I enjoy bring in my kids they have a little room for them. Never a problem the food is great keep it up!!!!
I was very impressed with thier pizza sauce. A bit different than the norm but I think thats what set it apart. I liked the dough, it was crisp and tender had the perfect amount of salt. Im not sure what kind of cheese they used but it had a bit of pull and the pizza was cooked perfectly after i requested a crispier crust. I will definitely get pozza from them again for sure.
We recently visited the area & decided to order some delivery. The food (pizza, eggplant parm & chicken/eggplant parm) was quite delicious & hot as delivery was pleasantly quick & reasonably priced. We'd definitely order from them again in the future.
We normally love this place, but fair warning that the mozzarella sticks are a joke, over $7 for an order with 5 very small mozzarella sticks. Garlic knots are also very small compared to other pizzerias, but the pizzas themselves are better than other local shops. We were delivered a whole pie once instead of a slice with our other pie a few months ago. The delivery driver stood calling back and forth between the store and us for half an hour before they could figure out how to refund us (paid by card over phone) and the rest of our food got cold before they figured out to give us cash, and then they took the pizza back with them. I don't need free pizza but having me stand there in the doorway for half an hour while our food got cold for their mistake without so much as an apology was pretty poor treatment. We're pretty regular customers but that did almost stop us from ordering again.
Just moved back to east coast from Cali, couldn't wait to get some pizza, a calzone, cannoli and eggplant Parm. Ordered from here and was not disappointed. The garlic knots and pizza were good, maybe a little on the greasy side, hence 4 stars. Everything else was really good, wings, fresh mozzarella salad or wraps, the service was great, a great welcome back to the east coast for me 💖
Happily surprised with the pepperoni slice I had; sauce had nice flavor, thicker than normal pepperoni was a nice touch, nice crust/char as well...I'd definitely go back for other slice options, as their grandma slices looked pretty good too.
Really, really good pizza joint. Chicken noodle soup on point, pepperoni roll unique and HUGE. Best pizza in the Hudson Valley? I don't know about that... But definitely worth your time!

Great pizza. Never enough hot honey pepperoni slices though. Would recommend
Wasn’t a fan of the old spot here, This place is cool there food is way better quality than the past spot. Their mac and cheese sticks are a wavey touch, there my go to for mozzarella sticks especially since they throw me an extra one every one and a while. The pizza sauce? Easily the best part of anything. Ordered a “chicken cutlet” sandwich, but it was more like grilled chicken still tasty, just way too thin. Delivery was smooth, driver was cool, and the receptionist is precise and patient. Worth trying! I always order chicken cutlets from here some days it’s perfect other days it’s simply alright . They are quick to fix messed up orders which they rarely mess up. There only downside is there drivers never have change and I mean never they should be provided with change

Shrimp parmigiana sub is good here but the place was freezing. It made dining in there so uncomfortable. I wish they would of carried root beer.
for the pizza...i've had worse, but i've had better. pizza town down in marlboro is well worth the few extra minutes ride. pizza mia has pretty good sandwiches though. meatball and chicken parm are decent.
The food is good (garlic knots etc.) but the pizza is okay. The only reason I say the pizza is okay, is because it is too salty.
The Pizza and Garlic Knots were delicious. I was a bit taken aback that no one used gloves. They were answering the phone, handling money and the food at the same time. You would think they would be more cautious especially in the Covid pandemic.
First time ordering from this place, I see it got best in the Hudson Valley, I ordered a large pizza with Jalapeños, Mushrooms, Pepperoni and extra cheese, The pizza was delicious and made with good quality ingredients, The only complaint that I have is that if I'm paying almost $40.00 for a pizza with toppings I should get just that, There wasn't enough toppings on the pizza for the price that I paid and at least three slices didn't have all of the toppings that I ordered, I will be a repeat customer however any orders placed in the future I would expect to get enough toppings to justify the price, Maybe a discount next time fellas?
I was never a fan of Pizza Mia which is why I would drive to New Paltz to go to Rino's. You could imagine my excitement when I noticed that Rino's had replaced Pizza Mia. The pizza and food is definitely better than Pizza Mia, but its not the same as Rino's in New Paltz. Different energy, different Pizza and different service. I still prefer Rino's in New Paltz. Please bring Highland location to the same consistency as the original Rino's. I literally would over order bc everything looked so good that I couldn't resist and at the new location I struggle to find something that makes my mouth water and often they look over cooked. To be fair, I haven't ordered food yet. I strictly referring to Pizza. Oone could assume that you're using the same ingredients and following the same recipes so I'm left wondering why is it not the same even the crust is a different. Consistency is key.
Okay so, the garlic knots were the best thing. I ordered the penne ala vodka which would have been good if there was enough sauce. They give you a piece of bread with no sauce to dip it in. The side salad only comes with shaved carrots and a slice of tomato, no onions or olives. The food came a half an hour earlier than expected. I give only 3 stars due to lack of sauce and no utensils after specifying to add those. Otherwise the food was good just lacking things other Italian restaurants provide…first time ordering from there but I’ll have to check out the other spots around here you gotta be competitive in the food industry
Food is always so random. Some days it’s great and tonight it sucks. The salad came with lettuce and meat. Where are the seasonal veggies? Lol it’s not like you can’t tell me have the pizza toppings are veggies too?? Maybe hire some men over 18 and actually make eye contact with customers and say please and thank you.
Very tasty regular pizza. Has regular pizzaria fare. We stopped in for a slice each. I got plain and she got a piece of their specialty pie (buffalo chicken). Hers was good, not great. The counter girl that waited on us never smiled, never greeted us. Starts the customer experience off with her sour note. She took care of another customer in between tossing ours in the oven to warm it up. It came out over cooked (hot, hot, hot!) and the bottom and crust hard now that it was overcooked. We were just passing through after visiting family that lives close by. They love all the pizzas here. So, we had a crummy experience but it's probably worth a try again. Maybe it'll be better next time.

Nice people. The Sicilian slices were worse than airport pizza, however.
For the price it just wasn't worth it. I paid almost $40 for what I was told would be a family special that included a "large" pizza. When I opened the box it was a medium size. I measured and it was 13-14 in not the 16 in that I was supposed to get. Besides that the pizza was over cooked and tasted old like that had just reheated a pizza they made earlier that day. I threw the pizza out and didn't bother to finish it. Disappointed, I'll just go to Dominos next time.
Changed from 5 to 2 stars. Jamie and James are no longer there (did it change ownership?) and it's been downhill since. Could overlook the service if the food was still as good as it used to be but it's not. It's a real shame to see after more than a decade of going there.
The pizza is usually good anything else is a gamble so I’d stick with pizza, but on top of that the customer service is garbage. We ordered a pizza with two toppings they Forgot one and charged us for both and when we called to tell him they basically said sorry oh well.
I can only comment on the slices of pizza I had. Crust was rubbery and sauce was flavorless. That's not the worst part. The teenager who served me displayed no personality. He handled the money and pizza with bare hands he went right back to handling other food. Not washing his hands or putting on gloves. The other teenager who was supposed to run the counter was slumped over the front counter on her phone, on the customer side. Management needs to retrain their staff. Maybe they are not better. The only reason I gave two stars is because it has a decent location
The food is never great. The only thing I like is the gourmet white pizza with spinach, grandma style, because the crust is thin. I've never felt compelled to write a review until tonight, when my pizza did not come. The man who answered the phone just asked my name, no address or phone number. I thought, ok, they must have it on file, but they've always asked me for that info before. I said I want to pay credit card and do you want the number and again no, they'll do it when they get there. Well, no surprise, the pizza never came.
We ordered from Pizza Mia a lot over the years and the grandma pie is our favorite pie. We happened to pass through tonight so we stopped in. We are loyal customers so we were suprised to find our order was mixed up and it was really not good. For a $46 dollar meal, only one sandwich out of three were correct. One sandwich was not what we ordered and the other was mostly bread instead of steak. The calzone we ordered was not cooked inside although the outside looked great. The onions and peppers were completely raw and crunchy. The marinara and garlic knots were great as always.
My significant other and i moved to the area about a year ago. We struggled to find a good pizza joint and eventually stumbled upon Pizza Mia, it was good not the best pizza, but solid and better than many other places in the area. Unfortunately over the past year I can't say they have gotten a majority of our orders right - we frequently have to return to get the right order. If you go I would highly recommend always checking your order before you leave.
"Spicy BBQ Wings" Those are wings covered in what I can only describe as flavored ketchup with red pepper flakes... I had forgotten why we never order from here. Thanks for reminding us.
To the chef and manager that runs this place order at 720 told 40 minutes which I knew was untrue but an hour and 15 and I call and we are backed up the order comes and it's not even cooked cold like it came outta your walk in not the first time the last though
Cheap pizza and cheap service. Plus it's really fun having the delivery boy racing and speeding all over 9w cutting people off and about to cause an accident. Garbage
BAD SERVICE!! NEVER AGAIN!! THEY SALE OLD FOOD TO THE PUBLIC!!! ORDER A LARGE PIZZA PIE HALF PEPPERONI, HALF SAUSAGE, AND A SALAD. WHEN MY HUSBAND OPENS THE BOX THE PIE LOOKS LIKE WHOEVER TOOK THE PIE OUT OF THE OVEN ,DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR AND PUT IT INSIDE THE BOX!!! AND THE GRILLED CHICKEN FOR MY SALAD IS OLD AND HARD!! FYI, WE SPENT $45.00!!!
My friend and I ordered placed online and it came out incorrect. When I called to let them know the lady had to double check if placed my order wrong, which is silly because I know what I order. And she also put me on hold for a long time. When my friend went to pick it up an employee was NOT WEARING A MASK. and no was welcoming.
Ordered a Philly cheese steak for a picnic that I was going on with my husband. Order took so....long. When I got to picnic and opened the cheese steak there was no meat in it. I will never return.
Ordered a pizza over the phone for pickup. When I got there the pizza hadn't even been made. They claimed I didn't call it in, but when I showed them my phone with their number on it they said the person who answered the phone went home and must have forgotten to give them the order.
I got the buffalo chicken cheesesteak, I made 2 horrible decisions, ordering that and ordering from this place. I thought people were raving about this place?? The food tasted like a fake italian joint
It was alot better with Jamie and James. It's going down hill fast. Cannot get the order right, not only 1 times but 2 and 3 times
Twice they've not made all of the food we've ordered. First time I took it as accident happens but this is the second time in a month they just don't write down what you tell them while ordering. Wont be doing business with them anymore
As one that has many allergy related restrictions, as I was asking a question or two the guy taking my groups order was very rude and sarcastic. Being no help at all for my ordering experience.
Guys working were too busy arguing and watching the football game to provide any good customer service. My order was wrong and the two other people waiting had wrong orders. Their excuse was "It's busy". This place is well established enough to be able to handle a rush of customers, especially with 6 or 7 of them working in there. After waiting an hour for our food (we were told 25 minutes on the phone) it was just ok. Probably our last visit.
The place has definitely changed. I am not sure why it is so complicated to get Penne with broccoli garlic and oil right. Two orders ago they added chicken. Not sure where one would hear chicken in "penne with broccoli garlic and oil". Today I ordered "penne with broccoli garlic and oil" again and not only did it once again come with chicken but there was a lot of black pepper. Again where in what I said translates into chicken and black pepper. I was told 25 minutes. I show up and pay. They go in the back and tell me a few more minutes. Then a few minutes later they tell me the printer in the back ran out of paper so the only item out of the 4 I ordered that went through was a personal pizza. Then I'm told it will be another 15 minutes. So my question then was so the pizza will be cold. And they said yes and would I like them to make another pizza. Wow. Used to order at least once a week. Won't be going back there again.
My boyfriend and I got a pizza with half meatball last night and he has been throwing up and going to the bathroom non stop since this morning. I ate the half with cheese and feel ok. Very suspicious meatballs.
I really try to support local businesses so I haven't written a review. However food sucks and it has for years! Chicken parm was like a chicken patty with sour sauce and cheap cheese. The pizza is the worst in town sorry but try wagon wheel, its right down the street serves excellent food.
I ordered 2 slices to go. I ate them in my car and both slices were cold. How can you not know how long to heat up for. And I got sick 15 minutes later. Never again!
New Customer, only 2nd time ordering. Same thing both times, Large Pizza and Garlic Knots. The first time the pizza was ok, nothing special but the knots were too doughy and soaked in oil. Just recently ordered for pick up once again. and again the knots were raw and soaked in oil, and this Pizza? Everybody knows once its charred like that, you lose all the flavor, I cant believe they even served me that, my bad for not checking before i walked out. Never had to do that before, most places can cook a Pizza right.
Me and my family always order pizza from here and have for as long as they have been open. When trying to order pizza tonight the employees put me on hold and said some disturbing things about my family, saying we don’t tip and more. Which is so unprofessional and not true whatsoever. As someone who works in the food service industry I understand how important tips are and always make sure to fairly compensate my drivers. This gave me a bad taste in my mouth, like how do I know that those employees won’t do something to my food next time. Very disappointed in the establishment and how the employees treat their long time customers. I will not be returning after this.
$20 for a pie with uncooked ham. When I questioned them about the price I was told it was it was $1.25 per topping (however thier menus says .99cents) and 1.50 tax on a $12.99 pizza. When I asked for the receipt they couldn't produce one that showed the price they charged me. THIEVES selling nasty pizzas. NEVER AGAIN!

Over the last 6 to 8 weeks something has changed with the taste of the food. Had pizza 2 weeks ago, pepperoni, pepperoni/bacon and Buffalo chicken, none of them tasted good, threw the pizza away. Tonight we had the drunken chicken parm dinner and it tasted terrible, the vodka sauce had a tangy taste, 2 bites and both dinners went in the garbage. I don’t know if it’s new employees cooking or an indication of how the food will taste now that Rino’s has purchased the business that was Pizza Mia. Keep making food like this and the business won’t be open for long, not with the prices they charge.
