Moved apartments today, never ate all day and was in a new area at 11pm. Everything was closed and Joe’s was just about closed, but I took a chance and called. Best move, I could’ve made! Food was fabulous, very homemade, authentic delicious. Jeff and Kaiden were so positive and couldn’t have been nicer. Big smiles, friendly, waited for me to drive over. I assumed Jeff was the owner because what employee picks up the phone, represents a business that well and really cares?! Clearly Jeff and Kaiden! So Joe, awesome food and fabulous hires. Give those guys a raise please because they are truly keepers!!!

The pizza is so good. We also got the zeppolis and garlic cheesy bread and both were amazing. Highly recommend.

Hands down best pizza in Holbrook wouldn’t go anywhere else. My favorite is the grandma pizza, but honestly everything is delicious from the pizza to the Italian food. They even have my favorite beer on tap so I like to stop in for a pint while waiting on my pizza pie to go.

Ive been getting takeout from Joes for at least 6 years. My family loves it. They treat you like family. The food is great. Always my go to spot for big catering orders. Last time was for my daughters communion & everyone was raving about the food. The chicken francese was my favorite and the penne ala vodka is insane too. They also make killer chicken rolls. My kids go crazy over them. And they come thru with the gluten free pizza for my gluten allergy having family members. Joes for the WIN!!

Great place, I had the baked pasta special and it was nothing short of amazing....and the service! My server Michelle was so nice and extremely attentive, anytime I needed something she was just there. Hands down, she was an absolute delight.

Food is always amazing. We love the broccoli and spinach roll. Jeff and Charlie are always happy and give great service whenever we go in. Can’t say enough about this great place.

We had a great experience at Joe's. We were a group of seven grabbing a work lunch. The staff was great, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was very nice. The staff even gave our group a complimentary order of zeppolis for our first visit. A co-worker recommended this place to us and I'm really happy that I listened to him. I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos but everything looked so appetizing. I will visit again.

This is our new favorite place for Italian takeout. Food is delicious overall, the marinara sauce is divine! I would swear it's some grandma's old school recipe 🤤 nice balance of acidity and sweetness imo. Do not miss out on the stuffed artichoke & eggplant parm hero, meatball hero is good as well says my other half. Prices are awesome especially for the artichoke! I loved the eggplant hero so much I've gotten it 3x in a row, the artichoke 2x 😂. We got Broccoli rabe side dish once. It might have been a little overcooked but it was absolutely loaded with fresh garlic, I think I'll try a side of spinach next time. Overall the food has been solid and we are going to be back soon I'm sure.

Tried the 1978 slice at Joe’s Pizza in Holbrook and it was epic. Perfectly crisped pepperoni piled high, melty cheese, and a dough that strikes that perfect balance between chewy and crunchy. A true masterclass in how a pepperoni slice should be. Just look at this picture—loaded with pepperoni! Easily one of the best slices I’ve had on Long Island.

Always an excellent meal at Joe’s! Whether it’s take out or dine in. The portions are generous, delicious, and the staff are attentive. We had an issue with a missing item from our take out order and they made right by us. Great food, great people. Highly recommend!

Nice atmosphere I like that they have self-catering option for those who wouldn't want to tip. I had their shrimps and NY cheesecake. Extreme portion size but it was tasty. The cake was too sweet for me.

To Lauren Marmol,, As someone who has also visited this restaurant, I feel it’s important to keep reviews constructive rather than personal. The way this review singles out April is unfair and unnecessarily harsh. Hospitality is one of the toughest industries, bartenders and servers work long hours, juggle multiple demands, and still show up every day to create a welcoming experience for guests. I’ve interacted with April myself and never found her to be anything but professional and attentive. Everyone has off moments, but publicly belittling someone in their line of work doesn’t add value for other diners it only tears people down. Constructive criticism is useful because it gives the restaurant something to work with. Personal attacks, however, reflect more poorly on the reviewer than on the staff member being targeted. The food here is excellent, the staff overall works hard, and I think it’s only fair that reviews highlight experiences without crossing the line into bullying. Stopped in for lunch today Wed.!Food is always fresh and tastes great. It’s like grand central station with people going in and out. Staff is very pleasant. The cashier is very nice and friendly. She is always running around when she’s not answering phones she’s helping out taking customers orders. Cleaning tables, collecting dishes and utensils. Definitely a go to place.

I stumbled across this bomb pizza spot in ny Long Island and I’m upset I didn’t order more slices! The cheese to crust ratio was so perfect! I was hungry and debating on pizza and the other spots on the strip. But once I went in to inquire about the menu Jeff the guy at the register was cool and knowledgeable about all the pizza in the world. So I had to try it. Can’t wait to go back!!

We’ve gone here several times customer service is always great. The undercarriage for the pizza is awesome. The Zeppoli is good just make sure you ask for the powdered sugar sometimes that might be left out other than that great pizza and pasta spot!!

I've lived in Italy for 3 years and it is so hard to replicate the fluffy dough that they do without messing up some other component of the pizza like the sauce or cheese. Joes is damn near close to a true Italian pizza! And don't get me started on the cannoli!!! I had a bunch in Italy too. Absolutely did not disappoint

This place! Not a bad thing on the menu. You can walk in and order a slice to go, or there's plenty of seating. The service for lunch was fantastic, from seating through to the end. The Branford Sandwich is a specialty, and it was awesome. The roll was toasted perfectly, with chicken in a vodka sauce, topped with mozzarella... Another visit I had the stuffed rigatoni! So good! Excellent choice to eat if you are looking, definitely recommend!

Didn’t get the names of the servers but everyone was so kind and friendly. The grandma slice that I got from there is the BEST version of the pie i have ever had hands down. The inside was beautiful with a large bar and they also offer table service. Outside was a decent sized eating area for when it's nice out. The staff was also extremely friendly and all the prices were very reasonable. I'm bookmarking this place because I'll definitely be returning!!

Excellent Italian restaurant with huge portions! They start you off with delicious garlic bread, and most of the main dishes come with a fresh salad. The chicken cutlet parm dinner came with 4 large pieces of chicken and pasta. More than enough for 2 meals. The staff is quick and on top of everything. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered here for the first time and read that the portion sizes were big and they were right! So much food for decent prices can’t really beat it, you get one meal and it’ll last you a couple meals. Me and my girlfriend loved it and the guy Jeff at the front tied everything together with his great service and happy attitude. Will definitely eat here again .

If this was about their pizza slices definite four stars. Alas this is about the sit-down restaurant. At first the good news huge portions I'm a big guy and it filled me up and had enough to take home. My wife like what she got said it's always a positive it was a calzone. Okay now the other side of the coin. There are two waitresses working a blonde energetic quick to service chatted with the customers and I could say she was working the floor. A very good waitress and unfortunately she wasn't my waitress. I had the older brunette waitress that I barely saw and I know I look like a scrub but it doesn't mean you don't check in on the table. The other waitress is doing three tables as the brunette was working ours, and they got more service than we did. Even though they were large portions I got the chicken parm with penne alla vodka my pasta was a little bowl on the side and the vodka apparently went through a stage of prohibition in the sauce. Again huge amount of chicken parm but the sauce was sickly sweet I don't know what it is with pizza places that have to serve sickly sweet sauce.

Love the pizza,pinwheels. But was very disappointed with my spaghetti dinner ,it was so over cooked it lost all its flavor ,meatballs were very tough. Hate to leave a bad review considering most is good. Will try again .

7/27/25 Wild update to this review. I went there at closing time and ordered what was still on the shelf. The counter guy was overly nice and accomodating. He even offered up a meatball slice at no cost since it was at closing. I thought that was nice. I waited for my slices to heat up for a few minutes. When I grabbed the box from him he said something that didnt register at first about Google. As I ate my slices I realized he was referring to my negative Google Review! lol That was cool that he recognized me and said something but I wish we could have discussed it at more length while I waited. I will do that next time if I go and the shop isnt too busy to explain better what I meant below. I added a star to the review for the encounter. Very cool that this spot takes the reviews seriously and are paying attention to their customers. Old Review = $4 dollars for a regular slice is insane. Highest ive ever paid for a regular slice and i go everywhere from LI to NYC to Upstate. Also there is 1 counter guy who cant handle the simple instructions of I dont want the slice "too hot" It is a simple request for my expensive slice and he cant get that right. I was trying to avoid the pool of grease and that is exactly what I got. This is not a bad place in general I will admit that. And I have been going here since the early 1990s for pizza. But if you charge top dollar I need you to at least listen to the customer's preference and not get so easily distracted. The slices of PB pie looks like they are cutting a slice...in half. The counter girl was not friendly this time either. Overall just a bad experience today and now Im gonna chill on this spot for a few.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. The bartender, April, was not only unpleasing and miserable to interact with, but she carried herself with such negativity that it ruined the atmosphere. On top of that, I overheard her belittling one of the waitresses, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional to witness. I actually felt terrible for the waitress, who handled the situation with professionalism and grace by not lashing back, even though she was being spoken to so poorly. Staff should uplift each other, not tear one another down in front of customers. Frankly, someone with such a sour and unpleasant attitude should not be the face of the bar, let alone the first impression for guests. That kind of toxic behavior has no place in a hospitality setting, and it left me walking out the door knowing I won’t be back. Very shameful because the food is good.

This place always lets us down. We live nearby and give them another chance every few months and we always regret it. Tonight, one of the things we ordered was their Italian cold cut hero. It cost $15 and I have had sandwiches at airports that were cheaper and better, with more meat on them too. There was no prosciutto on it as advertised, the bread was stale, the cheese slices were all mangled up. There were 2 slices of cheap ham, 4 slices of salami, and 6 pizza-sized pieces of pepperoni ON THE WHOLE SANDWICH. The chicken parm and chicken francaise were passable but nothing remotely special. Oh, and when I tried to call for a refund, the phone went immediately to busy signal 5 times over the span of 20 minutes, so I gave up and wrote this review instead. I never write reviews and I’m a fair person so if someone bothers to reach out and make this right I’ll probably take this review down.

Not usually one to complain but for paying almost $30 for lobster ravioli and I only get 5 raviolis and a ton of sauce.. when I pay 60 bucks for dinner I expect to get a decent amount. When I order the penne al vodka and the cover is popping off cause how full it is I kinda expected the lobster and ravioli to have more then 5 small raviolis… note to self never getting the lobster ravioli again.

Just ordered a Pizza for pickup from Joes. The pizza is delicious however it was not cut fully if at all. Very annoying. I had to the shoot up to the stire to spend $10 on knives in my office just to eat. Terribly inconvenient. Bad Job 👎

I specifically ordered a dish I made sure they had instructions I wanted my dish al dente it came out like a puddle of mashed potatoes terrible when I called I was told unless I brought the food back which is about a half hour away they wouldn't do anything for me no future credit nothing terrible service usually very good food unfortunately I will never go back and I recommend if you want good service somebody who truly cares about the customer go elsewhere

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This left wing establishment has no problem being rude to anyone- women, children doesn’t matter. Their food is mediocre at best and declining the past year. Usually it’s the heavyset man who can only move one side of his mouth. But tonight it seems as though even the young staff has no problem showing they’ve been raised wrong!

Ordered 2 marinara slices to go, and I couldn’t even hold them because they were like rubber, the crust was soggy and the pizza cold too. Not good, on top of that, it was $12 for the 2 slices 🤦‍♂️

Terrible food. Ordered a baked ricotta ziti. Cheese cyrdeled. Pepperoni pinwheel burnt to a crisp. Rice ball so chewy and hard, I broke my tooth.

Usually an exceptional experience, disappointed in the response to a LOYAL customer. I called ahead and ordered a large amount of food. I arrived when they stated it would be ready. Not only did I wait an additional 25 minutes, but the food was burnt. I understand things happen, so I called to make them aware and allowed them to rectify the problem. Their response was, “come back in, all I can do is make you another.” As a family that’s supported Joe’s for almost a decade, wrong answer.

Disappointing & dishonest. They forgot a Branford hero from my order. After I called they promised a fresh one. However, they clearly just reheat the same sandwich. After sitting & reheating the bottom was soggy and ripped when you picked it up. Top was twice burnt to a crisp. Don’t buy here. Your money is better spent at Gino’s in Ronkonkoma.

I was recommended to go here and boy oh boy, it will be my first and last time. I was starving so decided to give this spot a try and the chicken parm had absolutely no flavor and barely any sauce. Everything else we ordered was just not good at all. I should have gone to McDonalds...

I ordered a quart of vodka sauce with meat and it cost $18. For any sauce that’s a ripoff but it had basically no meat in it. So little in fact that I thought they made a mistake with the order. And the workers were very rude about it when questioned. Never coming back.

Pizza is awful! No flavor crust is dense with cardboard texture. Nothing special at all! I will no longer go here! One of the worst I’ve had. Overrated. Sorry Joe need to get it together. Losing the reputation.

Got a pizza today half pepperoni half regular. Must say it looked like Stevie Wonder himself cut this pizza. Honestly words can’t even describe the absolute puzzle of slices they bestowed upon me. The pie itself was very chewy undercooked and the kids said they rather have gone to Domino’s! This place has been on a huge decline in quality since they opened up the new spot and honestly, Only reason I still went there was the Branford and at this point I’d rather drive to the Seaport diner for volka, Godspeed. Every time that I have come here for the last three years, I order the same thing which is a dinner item and it comes with a salad and with a pasta today I came to pick up my order and the salad was a quarter of the usual size and when I said something about it, I was up charge $12 I have never had this problem here. The only thing in the salad that we eat is lettuce and mozzarella cheese, and we understand when they charge us extra for the cheese but you all of a sudden downgrade the size of the salad after three years and then charge me an extra $12 when I say something about it really left a bad taste in my mouth. We eat here sometimes 4 to 7 times a month and we do all our catering here. I don’t know if it is the young children they have working in the front or what but I am utterly. flabbergasted at how they treated us as customers and then they tried to to tell my husband that he is wrong and we don’t get the large salad with our order every time, but that’s a lie. I order here all the time and the salad is always the same size 1st time they’ve ever handed me a salad that was tiny. You would think for a $38 meal. It would come with a nice size salad, but I guess they decided today I should pay more. I do not know if I will be coming back. I do not know if I will be ordering my catering here anymore. I am disgusted. Their salad that is small with everything on it they charge eight dollars for I have no idea what they are doing today, but it really left a terrible taste in my mouth……

⚠️FOOD POISONING⚠️ Been coming here for years now and the food has always been great, I regularly get their penne allá vodka. Just this past Sunday (1/18/26), I went here with my family and unfortunately me and another family member got very very sick after consuming their vodka sauce. Be warned.
