came across them on IG it looked so good I had to order. Website is easy. I tried calling in my order and as of right now delivery is through DoorDash or Uber Eats. The person that answered the phone was friendly & helpful. My cookies were still warm by the time I received them. 😋 Definitely a new favorite 🍪 spot. Recommend trying a Flight of cookies you won’t regret it.

We ordered a box of all the flavors available at the time, and they were delicious. The whiskey butterscotch cookie was bomb and also white macadamia nut. The biscot cookie crunch ice cream has smooth consistency and is competing with store brands! We were also asked about nut allergy and saw a sign as well, which is going the extra mile for your customer, especially as a nursing mom. Customer service was great and will definitely be back!

Don’t let the location fool you. These gourmet cookies are top tier. They’re soft, fresh from the over, and the recipe is amazing. I would rank them up there with Tiny’s or maybe even better in taste. Love the fact that it’s a black owned business and the owners are so attentive to their customers. I support!

Decided to try this place since I was in the area and I’m glad I did! The cookies are delicious, crisp and soft at the same time, and the customer service is great I figured since I always buy Crumbl cookies, the price shouldn’t matter but they’re bigger than I expected so well worth the cost! I definitely will be back.

These were some of the most amazing cookies I’ve ever tasted; from the texture to the flavor. Today I tried the Macadamia and Rocky Road flavors; and can’t wait to try more! Side note: the customer service was also excellent.

My friend and I had a great experience at Cocoa Cookie Bar! CJ was incredibly helpful and friendly, he guided us through all the offerings and let us sample a few ice cream flavors we were interested in. We didn’t get the cookies this time, but they looked absolutely delicious! We’ll definitely be back soon to try more. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Updating my review: I loved these cookies so much I went Friday and got the chocolate chip pecan, cheesecake cookie and the Ube cookie. I was eating the chocolate chip pecan cookie and something chewy and weird like bad Carmel was in my mouth….it was plastic! A piece of plastic was baked into my cookie. 😩😥The cookies are still delicious but that can’t happen! Kids eat cookies so fast they could choke….heck I could’ve choke (pics below). Otherwise, I stand by my original review below. Original Review: Cocoa Cookie Bar is a sweet little gem! 🍪 I had the maple pecan cookie, and it was simply yummy—a perfect balance of nutty and sweet. The Ube chocolate chip, though, stole the show—soft, moist, chewy heaven in every bite! 😍 As for the red velvet, while it wasn’t my top pick (not the cookie’s fault, just not a red velvet fan), it was still an impressive treat. The customer service? Top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. 🙌 Oh, and they make their own ice cream too! 🥳 My belly was too full this time, but you better believe I’ll be back for a scoop (or two)! 🍦✨

Met CJ the owner and he gave us a nice tour of how he started the bakery and why. The cookies were super good. My favorite was the Mexican Chocolate. We were also very happy with us homemade ice cream. The ice cream went really well with the cookies. Definitely a place I’ll come back to when I’m have my cookie craves! The cookies are big and satisfying.

I stopped by during lunch after a friend recommended this place. The gentleman that was there was helpful and attentive. I didn't realize the cookies were freshly baked until I took a bite 2 hrs later and noticed they were a bit warm and soft. It was hard to only eat half during lunch--- it was that good! I shared them with my family later that day and everyone loved them. I 100% recommend!!

AMAZING! We got the ube white chocolate and the brookie and they were amazingggg! When we got them they were warm and gooey. Literal absolute perfection. It was a cute little shop that was clean and the service was fast. The owner was very sweet. 10/10 would recommend!

Highly recommended. I was just driving down Westheimer and I saw the sign. What a great name. And so I tried, and recommend you do also, the flight of four cookies for $16. The recipe here is very very good. Speaking as a baker hobbyist myself, if I offered any constructive criticism, I would say you need to bring down the salt a little bit, maybe halve the salt in your recipe, but that is just me. I especially enjoyed the rocky road cookie today.

FOUR COOKIES (x2 Mocha Mud, 1 choco and peanut butter brookie & 1 Chocolate chip Pecan) and 3 SCOOPS ( biscoff, strawberry amaretto & whiskey banana pudding <the latter being adult scoop meaning with alcohol>)!! I feel like a lucky 7 after finally trying this business after the instagram promo. It wasn’t the flavors I saw but I wasn’t disappointed! They show you the flavors they have on hand in person but don’t get them confused with crumbl. No processed mess her, A REAL at home cookie feel! SOOOO DAMN GOOD. They’re tucked off in a plaza on westheimer but pls make the trip over and SUPPORT LOCAL, they’re worth the trip!

When I took the first bite of their chocolate chip pecan cookie I had an awful lot of hope. I have been comparing all cookies to the Levain’s cookie from New York, which has been my favorite of all time for years. These looked liked them but could they compare? Ladies and gentlemen I am happy to report that they are what I have been searching for. This is it! The best cookie in Texas! The twin to Levain’s. Size, flavor, cookie density—amazing!!! Dare I say Cocoa Cookie Bar’s are even better? For starters they have a variety of flavors. Plus, Levain’s are wonderful the day of however the next day, unless you reheat them, they are hockey pucks. Cocoa Cookie Bar cookies are superior in that aspect. This place is going to blow up when the word gets out. I did a happy dance after my first real bite— I found what I have been searching for. The owner was lovely too. I warned him I would be comparing them to Levain’s and he smiled warmly and said I hope you like them; people have compared them. Well sir I LOVE THEM!!!! I have already spread the word. Thank you for making a perfect cookie. 😊

Ahhh. Your search for the perfect cookie and/or ice cream ends here!!! First of all, CJ is the most professional, business savvy, innovative entrepreneur I've met lately. His shop is just it! With a plethora - a plethora of cookie types and ice cream! The genius names and flavors are as creative as it gets. There's a flavor here for every taste bud, especially for the discerning culinary sweet-craving taste buds! The cookies are soft, ooey goey, warm, full of bursting goodness in every bite. Oh my. And the grown up ice cream flavors!!! I drive 30 minutes there and it's well worth it every time. Keep it up CJ!!! ✨️🎉

He allowed me to sample the ice creams, and then told me about how his wife made the syrups. They also have alcohol that they can mix into their syrups or juices, if you're into that. The first time I visited, I was informed that although the menu on the wall is overwhelming, they don't make all those flavors all the time. They suggested that I follow them on Instagram to find out the flavor for the following day. I immediately followed and when they posted they were making the "turtle" cookies, I had to go on that day. The cookies are large, and gooey. Without tasting undercooked. However, I found, much like Crumbl cookies, I'm not a fan of them fresh from the oven. I actually took the cookies with me (i ordered a half dozen) and put them in a cooler bag. By the time I ate them, they had cooled down and were fantastic. I saved one and put it in the refrigerator for the next day, when I got home. And it was even better cold! However, the other person I gave them to, did not enjoy how thick the cookies were. Preferences, right? All in all, I would definitely go back for the snow cones. The cookies, too, but I would have to make sure I am heading home to stick it it in the refrigerator.

Found this place on TikTok and decided to head over, was not disappointed!! I’m not much for sweets but I was craving some ice cream. While there I got so interested in the cookies they were offering I got multiple and they are amazing! Will be coming back as soon as I can!
