I'm not sure where all the poor service grief comes from on these reviews. You have to scan the QR code, pick your food/drinks, pay and a server will bring it to your table. Our server Demond was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Pizza was good, particularly from an airport quality perspective. The atmosphere was elegant yet warm and cozy.

It's been a long while since I trekked through Houston's George Bush Intercontinental airport. Today, I appetite brought me to Forno Magico located in the C terminal. With appetizer offerings such as Italian wedding soup and wonderfully sized pizzas, I opted to sample a few choice items. I started off with the bowl of Italian wedding soup and the garlic knots(wonderful baked bread with garlic and olive oil) and went all in for the sausage and mushroom pizza. From the eclectic decorum to the brick oven style for pizza, Forno Magico delivered on food and service. Give them a try next time you are traveling through Houston. Pro diner tip: If you fly United and have miles accrued, you can pay for your dining experience with your United Miles(I did for my meal experience). 🙂

**Restaurant Review** We stopped by this restaurant while waiting for our flight, and overall, it was a great choice. We ordered pizza, coffee, and a salad, and everything was ready surprisingly quickly. The pizza was delicious, with an especially flavorful and perfectly crispy crust. The salad was fresh, and the coffee was a nice touch to round out the meal. While the food was tasty and the service efficient, the prices were a bit on the higher side. Still, it was a pleasant experience, and we’d recommend it if you don’t mind paying a little extra for good quality.

I’m not sure where all of the “poor service” grief comes from on these reviews. The place is designed with no table-side server. Scan the QR code, pick your platter, pay and wonderful things are magically delivered to your table. Imagine that. Pizza was good, particularly from an airport quality perspective - let’s be real folks, airport food rarely lives up to it’s exterior siblings. Beer was cold, atmosphere was a pleasant escape from the chaotic hustle and bustle of lost passengers, and strollers zipping by at the speed of light as mad lad toddlers rush to make a screaming appearance on your next flight. Life is good here. Have a second beer and put those mandibles to work, you can finish that entire pizza in one sitting. You got this!

I got the broken meatball rigatoni it was delicious! Tasted really authentic! Great meal and portion. I had leftovers to eat during my flight! The server was really attentive as well! I’ll definitely be stopping here before my next flight out of IAH!

The service was quick enough, efficient & the food presented in a lovely manner. The pasta entree I ordered was soupy, the sauce was not thickened at all. But other than that- salad and drink were good enough. They are not cheap with the liquor bc in tipsy halfway through the drink- I’m not an alcoholic but enjoy weekend drinks if that helps gauge your expectations 😉 $60 for one side salad, cocktail and pasta entree

I typically avoid airport pizza like the plague, but this place has me thinking that may be an errant overgeneraIization. I didn't have the service issues mentioned quite a bit before, my service experience was quite the opposite; communicative and supportive. The most important thing was the pizza delivered, pun not even considered until typing this review. If there is a guy named George on the oven, the pizza will be good, I've watched many cooks across the globe and this guy is a huge asset because he is focused, consistent, and gives a you know what.

Stood around waiting to be seated with nothing from staff until another customer told us it's seat yourselves. QR code for ordering didn't work because there's almost no cell signal and no Wi-Fi. Grabbed menus ourselves. No water provided. Just two bottles of overpriced Pellegrino at the table. Pizzas were pretty good. Prosciutto Pizza arrived with the prosciutto added after the pizza was cooked. Not my preference but ok.

Nice restaurant in the airport. However, there are problems with the service. We ordered drinks and Salad but our pizzas came first. We asked for our drinks and salad 3 times, but the pizza did not come even though it was finished. Pizza wasn't too bad. Ambiance is nice. Service is delayed.

We expected the prices to be typical airport pricing. But the menu displays a much better presentation than what is served. We ordered the Beet Salad based on how it looked. They actually show an acceptable amount of cheese and seeds on the top. When we got ours, there literally was no cheese, barely a powder. I told the manager and pointed it out. He said, " That's the cheese, right there." I showed him the picture, and he said, "Yeah, see, his is the cheese. I finally said so, "You say this is acceptable for a $16 salad, no cheese, and a smaller portion than the picture, and no cheese." After his arrogantly stating it had the necessary cheese, he offered to bring more. When he delivered it, he said, " This should be an acceptable amount." We fly frequently enough, and we never stop here again.

This place would be fine except for the VERY high prices. The pizza is decent, I think the dough is too bready. Service is just OK, they are super friendly and helpful but not very thorough. Maybe if you are on a company expense account, but I would not pay $25 for an individual pizza unless it was amazing.

The pizza was decent and freshly made but I found it to be excessively greasy because of the amount of pepperoni that's put on the pies. The service was below average, I was never asked how the pizza was or any opinions of anything that was going on with my experience and I found it irritating that the tip was already asked for in advance of any service (which was basically handing your pizza and a drink) The people were friendly but seemed preoccupied.

Cute place that was one of the few not blaring sports coverage extremely loud. However: I paid $54 for a drink and pizza, food took almost 45 min to arrive even tho restaurant was empty (ppl next to me arrived later but got theirs sooner than I), I only got food a while after I asked about it at the 30+ min mark, promised napkins never arrived, no offer of water or anything else. Pizza was meh. Won't be back. Don't go here if you're in a rush -- wish I could get a refund.

Order via QR scan and the App forced Payment before the App could place order. This means Customer forced to guess how good Service they would receive based on Staff delivering the food and maintaining the refills since Customer was forced to do Job of Order taking and paying. Had to ask for Salt & Pepper due to bland tasting Food. Chef not bothered with basic seasoning while cooking the meal. First glass of Lemonade was half full. Asked for refill, which received. Asked for 3rd refill and was denied as told only one refill for Lemonade. Menu did not state this when I read details of Lemonade. Another issue is picture of my initial Glass showing half full so technically they owe me half a glass of Lemonade. Overall, it is highly over-priced ($28.32) for Eggs Any Style $17.99 ; Lemonade $4.99 ; Tax $1.89 ; 15% Tip $3.45. Place was dead as I was only Customer. Staff was on their phones or talking to each other instead of keeping busy by cleaning. Lot has changed from my days in Food Services.

Hands down the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Absolutely awful. Hard as a rock, completely tasteless, and borderline inedible. It genuinely felt like a cheap frozen pizza that had been lazily reheated. A complete waste of money. Whoever is responsible for this should seriously reconsider working in food, because this was nowhere near the standard of a real pizza.

The restaurant was moderately busy, but we waited over 50 minutes for our food to arrive. When people seated after us got served their food, we finally managed to talk to someone, (difficult, since ordering is through the app), and it still took another ~10 minutes for food to arrive. Don't come here unless you have ~90 minutes to wait for food to arrive. Others around us had the same issue. I don't think it was the fault of the staff- they were working flat out, I think the restaurant is just severely understaffed. For over $50 for a pizza and a drink, this was unacceptable.

The worst Margarita pizza I’ve ever had. It was a crust with a white snow tyre as the cheese on the top. This was cheese pizza rather than margarita ( if I can call it pizza at all )Super low quality!! Another thing that is so frustrating is they don’t give you the printed receipt and the email receipt is too much complicated. Why I should give all my information just for a garbage pizza and then go through couple of links to get a simple receipt !! 🤬🤬 They charge you 18% tip when you are ordering before they even bring you any food !

Went in while waiting for our flight since the place looks nice. Ordered 3 pizzas, a salad, a tomate basil soup, 3 cokes, and 1 sparkling water. Took forever until I got up to ask for my order (clearly they had forgotten to cook my order). First one pizza came out (undercooked, like rubber). Then the soup and salad (caesar salad with no croutons) so I ask does this not come with croutons and the lady said yes but they are all the way over there (other side of the bar). In my mind was thinking she should not serve this until it is completed. She then brought some croutons after halfway done. Then another pizza came and it was fine not great. Finally they told my brother that the pizza he ordered mushrooms and some meat, that they where out of mushrooms (this is 40 minutes after we ordered), so he had to change the mushrooms for something else. Again, pizza under cooked on half the pizza (FYI you need to turn the pizza in the oven). Next time I will grab a cheap Wendy's which is bad but at least I know what to expect and wont spend $26 on a pizza plus $5 on a coke and wont have to wait 1 hour to get served horrible food). Never again!

Family of 4 adults choosing a restaurant for a layover during lunch. This place had a warm, cozy atmosphere. That’s where the joy ends. No welcome upon entrance with a brief encounter upon sitting, where an employee dropped silverware in a rush (1 fork and 1 napkin). Ordering online was simple enough, however, option for tap water not available-ordered $10 bottle of water. Food was delivered with no particular order and before drinks were placed on table. Coffee was cold. Shrimp salad and pizza were tasty but other food was salty and had excessive cheese and lacking other listed ingredients. All this is to say that you have to tip as you order-but what you get in return is less than service. Customer service was absent, requesting tips for that seems excessive.

There are no servers - you’re prompted to tip before you even finish placing your order on the app. Our pizzas were delivered before our drinks, and my salad came 35 mins later, and when I said I’d rather take a refund - she said she would do it and didn’t come back for 10 mins, at which point the salad was dropped off. Highly recommend not tipping and leaving cash SHOULD you find your service deserves it.

Ordered a Margarita. Gave me a cheese with 3 basil leaves on top. The manager was helping the chef that was behind. Told the server. She says its how its made here. A few minutes later another chef makes a margarita. The right way where cooked with a few basil. I show the manager thats how its made. He tells me "ya" "ya" keeps on his business...didnt even try to make it right. Poor.

TL;DR: Not safe for food allergies. Staff gave dismissive answers when asked about ingredients. I have a severe egg allergy and asked the bartender who I could speak with about the pizza dough ingredients. She said she’d come over but never did. After waiting about 10 minutes, I went to the service station myself. A waiter told me the dough contained eggs. Since Neapolitan pizza dough typically does not, I asked if they could check the ingredient bag. Instead, the manager said, “all pizza has eggs,” and when I tried to clarify, he cut me off with, “well, ours does,” before walking away. The dismissive tone and lack of follow-through made it clear they weren’t interested in helping. We left and ate elsewhere. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with allergies
