Surprisingly good for an airport spot! The place was really clean, service was super quick, and the staff were friendly. Perfect if you just need a fast bite before your flight. Exactly what you hope for at the airport — no stress, just good food and great service.

Wow. Honestly the best burger I have eaten in my life. After a gruelling flight connection I decided to give this place a try. My server Amanda welcomed me in and made me the best old fashioned. She was charming and so professional. Made me feel at home. I shook the chef hand a commended him on an excellent burger. I had the bacon and blue cheese burger. Stop by and see for yourselves. Thank you Amanda.

Breakfast Thursday morning waiting for our connection fly. Ordered through QDR code, fast and pretty decent food for airport.

Upon coming to the airport, I found this small burger place… in hindsight looking at the reviews, I am glad that my experiences were very different… the wings I ordered came out plump, hot , fresh and crunchy… delicious with my bbq sauce on a side! My burger was big, juicy and cooked to desired perfection! Overall a nice experience 😋!

Massive shoutout to Gracie for the great service (twice). We got lunch here on our first layover and it was so good we decided to stop back in on our return trip, 8 days later. Gracie recognized us and remembered what we had ordered (which is crazy, I can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday), and overall was a fantastic and kind server. Also thank you to the chef whose name I did not grab; she did not recognize us lol, but did cook delicious food both times. The grilled chicken burger, impossible burger, and sweet potato fries are all excellent. Airport food that is actually worth the price is not something you see often, so if you have a layover in IAH give this place a try!

The reviews are NO indication. Didn’t read them before we came. So glad!! Burger cooked to perfection. Great staff. Great beer!! Don’t sit in back if you get hot. It’s by the grill. Trinity Oaks Pinot Noir is outstanding!! The staff and mngr were HUSTLING!

CRYSTAL! thank YOU for being so sweet and going above and beyond. My daughter requested pickles and she ran to our gate to.give them.to her. The sweetest gesture ever. She has amazing customer service and such a hard working gal. God bless you.

Really good burgers and fries. The reviews mentioned high prices and long waits, but really good burgers and fries. w We had a long layover with a craving for a good burger, the place was pretty empty, so we gave it a shot. We received our order in about 10 minutes from placing our order, and were very happy with the food. Great burgers, we both got the Longhorn, and one side of regular fries and one with sweet potato fries. Everything was excellent. We are glad we stopped by.

Came here with my parents during a layover. Our Server Amanda was super nice, kind and friendly. She helped us place our order and our burgers were absolutely delicious. However while we were eating our burgers, another server, rudely screamed super loudly at another customer for an unknown reason. Other than that, everything else was amazing!

Should’ve read the reviews first. We were so hungry during a connection and decided to give this place a shot, big mistake. The burger bun wasn’t even warmed, and the service was disappointing. One of us had to grab a towel from the counter to dry a wet chair, and the server just said “thank you” and walked away like it was our job. It also took way too long to get a simple beer. Not worth the stop, even if you’re hungry.

It's pretty loud in here. The service is great. I really liked their dry rub wings, and their fries. The burger was OK. A little dry for it being $23. It's expensive here. But its an airport so.... all in all, not a horrible experience. I would eat here again. Would love to try the waffle fries and have some more wings!

Food 3.5/5 - medium burger was definitely medium - clearly pink in the middle. A bit dry surprisingly. It was quite thick - 1/3lb might be. The bun was greasy - not sure if butter etc got on it or not. I appreciated the little to no salt on the burger patty itself so you can season yourself. Fries were ultra salty even though crisp on the outside and soft inside. Service 3/5 - had to ask for everything. From water to ketchup. Had to ask for drink I had already ordered. Socializing among themselves seemed to distract service. Value 3/5 - burger was 19$. Draft beer 11$. I know inflation is high, and staff hard to come by. Struggle to see the value at this airport location. Don't go by the menu posted on the wall. Items such as fish and chips are no longer on the online qr code menu.

I almost never leave reviews. went in with expectations of airport food being bad and overpriced. Livefire burgers managed to beat my expectations for the worse-by a lot. Greasy Food burned to a crisp, low quality materials. Expensive. On the good side, Friendly staff. Good airport location.

The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and cooperative. Menu looks great, we were very hungry and hopeful to get some great burgers while waiting for our flights. The shock came when we had to pay for our meals - because we could not. We tried 3 cards in total (debit and credit, etc.). We had no cash. Cards that worked in all other shops at the same airport, that worked in other countries did NOT work here. What a brilliant way to slowly destroy your business!

We ordered burgers and Parmesan fries to go. We had a quick connecting flight to catch. Husband had to stay back to select the food while we went to gate because it was boarding. We were missing the fries. Didn’t have time to go back. Burgers were huge and gourmet, but overcooked. Fries that came with the burger were great. Amanda waited on us and was super and very nice.

Waited 10 min for them to clean the table (while there was a lady just wandering around) We ordered already at this point and waited 30 more minutes which was already our boarding time, we asked the order to go… when we opened the boxes inside the plane at 37,000ft in the air, come to find that all burgers were burned beyond the point of being edible. $21 per “burger” what a disgrace of a place. They thought they were pity enough to put a slice of cheese on top of the burnt side.

There were 6 of us, and our first two burgers were served pretty quickly. Followed by that, we waited over 20 minutes to get our next burgers. They messed things up, it was way over priced, and some burgers were burnt. It was quite pathetic for a burger joint, fast food would have been a better option to be honest. Had to pay before we got our food too, at a sit down restaurant. Avoid!

Don’t eat here unless you have lots of time. I stopped here for a bite when I got to Houston. I placed an order via the QR code and after nearly 40 minutes I left because my food was still not out. Just a waste of $33! You would think at an airport restaurant they’d be faster. People have to catch planes and can’t enjoy 2 hour lunches.

Typical poor airport experience which I have come to expect. But the electronic ordering and billing system is garbage. I never did get a receipt. When I tried to access online via links provided they ended up at the dreaded "#404" not found. Truely a poor experience. I would avoid if I were you. Sent an email - no response.

If you value your time, money, or sanity, do not eat at Live Fire Burger in the Houston Airport. Six of us ordered lunch — it turned into a 60-minute disaster. Two burgers came out first. Fifteen minutes later, two more. Fifteen minutes after that, the fifth. The sixth order was flat-out forgotten, and when it finally crawled out of the kitchen, it came with a salad instead of fries. The hostess who took our order vanished right after taking our money, leaving someone else to deal with the chaos. For six mediocre burgers and four Cokes, we were robbed of $191. The service was clueless, the wait unacceptable, and the prices laughable. This place is a rip-off wrapped in incompetence. And to whoever responds with the usual “please fill out a form” nonsense — don’t bother. Here’s your form: fix your restaurant.

For an airport restaurant this place needs some help. Layover with 6 people stopped in here for lunch. We ordered with a server and had to “prepay” for the food including a tip. Almost $200 later and the food came out 2 plates at a time. The first two people got their lunch and were happy…. While the rest of us waited and watched while the food was burning on the grill. When the food did come out it was wrong. I asked for no bun, my bad for not saying “gluten allergy,” but could have hurt someone since they initially plated it with a bun. There is a good court further down…. Keep walking, you’ll have better food and service.

Had a bad experience. Ordered two burgers, fries and two drinks. Waiter made us pay before entering order, and added a compulsory 18% gratuity (he tipped himself!). The two burgers came up to USD 78! Burgers were horrible, the lettuce was going bad and took 15 mins to arrive. Would not go back again....

Absolutely disgusted with this place. I normally read reviews before I check out a new eatery, but didn't do it this time or else I would have stayed far away. I ordered a hamburger and fries and after 30 minutes, I asked a staff member politely if it was almost ready. She talked to the cook and said it would be right up. After another 15 minutes, I got a completely charred patty so bad that the cheese had completely melted away and it was no longer "meat" but a frisbee. It was, in my opinion, purposely burnt to an absolute crisp and one bite filled my mouth with pure charcoal that I spit it out immediately. That's how bad it was burned. Honestly, I believe this was solely done on spite for me asking when my burger was going to be done because I had a flight to catch. It would be impossible for the cook to not know how bad the burger was charred but obviously the cook didn't care. Avoid this place at all costs (see other reviews), but if you do eat here, don't ask the cook for anything or you might not like what you get back.

Service is completely lacking. They took the order dropped the food and then ignored us. They were out of everything including Sprite, water, and mushrooms. Food cost double what you pay for fast casual places in the same Terminal, like Panda Express. At least we know now to avoid this place next time we transit through IAH.

We showed up with just over an hour to order and eat. We sat ourselves and used the QR code to order AND pay. We waited over 50 minutes for two meals. Only one meal showed up. They didn’t even make the second one! When I asked for a box I was met with a nonchalant attitude. The dude seem almost annoyed I was asking him for help. We had to leave behind the meal we paid for. Hoping I get the refund I requested. Way too expensive to not receive a meal.
