Tony Thai never fails to deliver authentic tasty Thai food. The dishes come out really quickly, I've never had to wait too long for my order and everything is reasonably priced. Favorite things to order are the tom yum soup, chicken wings, pad Thai noodles, egg plant with chicken, and coconut shrimp. There are tasty vegetarian options as well.

The flavors here are incredibly authentic and well-balanced. The spot has a cozy vibe that makes it feel like a hidden gem. The staff was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. They were happy to explain the spice levels and even offered a 'spice rack' so we could customize our heat at the table. Thanks!

I recently visited this Thai restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. We tried a mix of appetizers and noodle dishes, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous—definitely great value for the price. The service was also friendly and efficient, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, a satisfying dining experience that I’d happily recommend. We will be back

Foods tasted great and came in large portions. Pad thai, pad see ew and fried rice were delicious. Each entree was around $15 and bill came out to $49 after taxes but there were plenty left to take home.

Our go to Thai place in Bellaire. They have an excellent variety of dishes to choose from and nothing so far has disappointed me. I especially love the Chicken Wings and the Fried Fish. The sweet chili sauce they put them in is amazing. The noodle dishes are excellent as well, and they let you customize the protein per dish too. Great family restaurant that always has plenty of seating, and the portions for the prices are more than worth it.

New spot try out, and Tony Thai’s didn’t disappoint! Service was awesome! Portion size for the price is awesome! Flavors were awesome! Well worth a stop if you’re looking for new restaurant to try out. As a staple dish, ordered the wings as an appetizer. Sticky, crunchy, and delicious. The curry fish was just as delicious and has a little spice to it. It’s just to die for. Lastly the garlic pork just helped finish us off, with a bowl of steam rice. Just complimented everything. All priced right and family style. Average was $25 per person which to us hit perfectly for the amount and quality of the dishes. The parking can be a little difficult at times, but well worth a stop. Also make sure to check the back for more spots. We have no reserves that we will definitely be back for more. Can’t wait to try more dishes. Until next time.

Our new favorite Thai spot in Houston, Very authentic food. The noodle broth had plenty of flavor, beef cuts were tender with no gristle and even though the chicken wings are .ore Americanized food they are delicious. Service from the waitstaff was top notch, friendly and informative. The owner even came put and checked on us making sure we were happy with our lunch.

This has been my FAV Thai restaurant for years! The food never missed! We always get seated and served quickly. Prices are very affordable with a lot of dishes being $13-$15. Me and my family of 3 can usually eat for $60 bucks! Parking is never an issue. Some of my recommended dishes - Basil fried rice with shrimp (add spice to a level 4) - beef pad prick king - Tony Wings - Tiger cry - garlic chicken - THAI TEA 🧋

Amazing ambiance with decorations from Thailand! My personal favorites there are the Garlic Salmon, Tony Wings, and Steamed Fish (they bring it in a metal fish boat with a flame below so it continues to stay warm and bubbly at the table). Mango Rice and Creme Brulee for dessert... I've had creme brulee in many restaurants all over the country and this by far my favorite texture and flavor. Very attentive service. They anticipated the needs of our table to make a truly enjoyable dining experience. I know the owner Tony personally. He is a genuinely great guy. Help support one of the good ones.

Thai food is one of my favorite to enjoy outside of the house, and I've been hearing a LOT of great things about this place, so I was quite excited to visit. This is by far the BEST Thai I've had ever, and the service was fast, super friendly, and prices were great! I def recommend every1 try this spot if you haven't! A+++++

My family and I went to dinner at Tony Thai tonight. It was fairly busy for a Wednesday night. We ordered some Tom Yum Kung with shrimp, Tiger Cry, Grilled Squid, and Crispy Pork (Pad Pak Bong) The crispy pork and the soup were really good. A little different from standard Tom Yum soups, but we enjoyed it. The Tiger Cry was tasty, but the meat was a little overdone and so was the squid. We had 2 different waiters...the first one was a little impatient, but the guy who eventually took over from her was quick and efficient.

Food was deliciously and came out quickly. Because we came at opening. The Tony Wings were crispy and perfectly battered with sweet and sour sauce that was not overly saturated. Drunken noodles were slightly bland for me and oily but good. Crispy chili fish was a little bit tough but good coconuty flavor with curry I think. Boat was good too but noodles were overcooked. We recommend and will return.

The food at Tony Thai was excellent! We ordered Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Peanut Chicken, Fried Catfish and Tom Yum. Each dish was fresh, flavorful and well-prepared. The balance of flavors really stood out and everything tasted authentic. This restaurant has been here for over 20 years and honestly, I keep forgetting it’s even open but I’m glad I finally came back. Make sure you let them know your spice level so the dishes come out just how you like them. The only downside was that service was a bit slow so our food took longer than expected. Still, the quality and taste made it worth the wait and I’ll definitely remember to come back sooner next time.

Been coming here for years but never gave a proper review. The food is good, but only for some selected dishes. The best dish for me is the steamed mussel, but they sometimes would run out. Yum seafood and grilled squid is good too. Pad thai may taste more sweet than the usual. Some beef, pork or chicken dishes may taste dry.

It's been a while since the last time I visited this restaurant. The food is amazing. The waiter is soft spoken and help us with food suggestions and they were so good, we leave no leftover.

I love the food but the menus they have for take out still have prices like $10.95 for the pad thai. It does state prices are subject to change anytime but a $4-5 increase is something I do not entirely understand. And then when picking up and paying that price I would expect napkins and utensils but there wasn't any. I'm guessing you must make sure to ask for them.

My friend told me that this Tony Thai restaurant has very good steak, so we went there for dinner. I ordered the basil lamb, and my friend ordered the grilled steak. The basil lamb tasted okay, but the steamed rice was not good and of cheap quality. The waiter service was decent. The restaurant atmosphere was okay. This restaurant also sells some grocery items.

(Review as of July 2022) Service: 1/5 Ambience: 4/5 Food quality: 3/5 Dishes typically $10–$12.99. Check the menu I posted. I believe this place has undergone new management. The service quality is not so great. Came here on a Thursday evening around 7 pm. Place isn’t very packed. Typical place that will cater towards larger groups. If you’re a party of 2-3 they will likely not check on you at all the entire time you sit down to eat. Not water fills. No napkin offering, no checkups at all. Food quality is average. However the portion size for the price is above average, a consequently stiffened by quality of the food by higher end Thai restaurants with comparable prices. Ambience caters towards friend meet ups. Nice place to catch up with old colleagues as there are larger amounts of natural light towards window seating.

Recently went to Tony Thai with high hopes . Just highly disappointed ☹️. Food was super oily seasoning was slightly above a buffet restaurant. Portion size was good, not too expensive but they charge for meat in the stir fry noodle dishes which makes it expensive. Nice ambiance but food not ethnic Thai food. Overly greasy American style cuisine. Not too many Thai restaurants on Bellaire so I guess that’s how they stay in business. Also there was a hair on my plate when I took the napkin off and the plates are chipped looks dirty. Picture of the to go we took home maybe I’ll add some more veggies to it and shrimp. The service was decent better than Vietnamese restaurants . They just need a new cook !

Service is friendly and courteous. However, food is extremely below mediocre, although large portions. We ordered Shrimp Pad See Ew and Shrimp Pad Thai. The menu showed both items pictured with shrimp and priced at $14.95 per plate. However, the receipt came showing a surcharge for the shrimp at $3 per plate - so actual cost was $17.95. The menu pricing is misleading and should be pictured without the shrimp. But forget about the pricing - had the flavor been good - it would have been fine. However, the pad see ew was way too oily and had a somewhat burnt flavor. The greens were still raw and the rice noodles were lukewarm and not hot at all. The Pad Thai was even worse: large chunks of noodles clumped together and dry, also lukewarm - again, nothing was hot. The seasoning was not spread out evenly on the noodles and some parts were actually outright cold. We threw it out after it was wrapped up to-go. We don't like wasting food, but afterward we couldn't stomach the idea of eating the leftover. We ended up paying $45 with tips included, for two plates of some really bad Thai food. Considering they had quite a lot of customers coming through the door while we were there, I'm honestly surprised. Maybe there aren't enough good Thai places around so people have nothing to compare to? Or maybe we came on a bad night - who knows. But this was just my experience.
