This place is cool 😎 they have a few pool 🎱 tables. Hockey tables. Karaoke 🎤 machine. The floor layout I'd awesome. ✨️ The environment is very friendly. I recommend this place to anyone. I wasn't expecting it to be this nice. My friend that's with me really like 👍 it. He's very excites. They have a fish tank on top of the bar. Alot of decorative ornaments.

Good place. I like a place that serves tiki style drinks. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food was really good. To the only complaint is that it was a bit slow to get a drink and the poboys have a bit too much lettuce on them. But other than that the aesthetics of the place is pretty rad. All the drinks on there are varied enough to keep coming back. All and all a good place to hang out. Pool tables and air hockey tables are excellent.

Good "dive bar" feel. The fried shrimp is a tasty treat. The daiquiris are top notch. The bartenders are Seinfeld level grouchy buy effective.

Great spot to grab a drink with friends or solo. Helpful staff and a good drink selection. Small parking lot next to it but fills up fast. Not to hard to find street parking nearby. Will definitely be back here to try more of the drink menu.

I ordered for a pick up of crawfish and had to wait nearly an hour for it. I'm usually patient but the place is a bit small so it was hard to get comfortable. Especially sitting at the bar. The crawfish was good but not as satisfying as I was hoping for. The daiquiri I should've gotten from my usual spot.

Nut allergy warning: be careful of almond liqueurs. I kept to beer to be cautious. Indoor is large and outdoor has a few tables. Parking is street or a small lot with about 20 spots. Fun little dive bar. Two pool tables, air hockey, a photo booth, and some different seating. Large tater tots took about 20 minutes to come out, so food will be a little while if you order any. The tots were decently crispy and definitely sharable. Shrimp was OK. Drinks are fast if there's no line. Very reasonable drink prices ($6-9 for a 20oz goblet, $12-15 for frozens), and eight frozen cocktail options are great. The rotating IPA was the Brash Cali Green while I was there. After tax and tip I paid about $40 for three goblets and large tots. I would recommend they make bathrooms gender neutral or make it clearer if they are... Surprising line for male restrooms in the evening. Obviously, depends on the crowd. Great for a date, hanging out with friends, or anything else.

Voodoo Queen Daiquiri Dive is a must-visit establishment for anyone seeking a fantastic dive bar experience. The daquiris were good! Just 1 with an extra shot of rum...Definitely did the job. I had the Betty and pineapple express. The chicken strips were good. The loaded fries were okay, but meat was not seasoned well.

I’ve been going to voodoo for some years and have always had a great time. Service has always been good and so has the food. Last night a few of my friends and I encountered a female employee behind the bar that was so rude the minute we got there. We were all very shocked and went to the other bartender on the other side. At some point we had to go back to the bar and she had a shorter line and then again! She was rude. Very sharp with her words and major attitude when giving instructions. I understand we all have nights where we don’t want to work. I also bartend. But there was no reason she had to be so rude to all of us TWICE. We ended up leaving after a second round because of it. I hope she’s not there next time we visit.

I’ve never experienced such unnecessary hostility at the door of a bar. The doorman with the beard on duty Friday night went out of his way to be confrontational, dismissive, and outright rude. My friend, who had a valid Texas ID, was turned away without a legitimate explanation, despite fully complying and doing nothing wrong. We are all attorneys and 2/3 of us work for the city. What made the situation worse was the blatant power-tripping. Three attorneys in our group were told to “go home” simply for standing outside the bar, not causing a disturbance, not arguing, not even trying to enter. We were there peacefully while celebrating a birthday, yet were treated like criminals for existing near the entrance. There was no professionalism, no de-escalation, and no respect, just bullying behavior and arbitrary decision making. Door staff are supposed to ensure safety, not manufacture conflict or ruin people’s nights for sport. All the while he’s barking at us to move from the sidewalk a girl is being CARRIED OUT by 4 men and a group of people as she was clearly passed out/too drunk, etc. If this is the kind of treatment patrons can expect, I’d strongly recommend management take a hard look at who they’re putting in charge of first impressions. One person’s ego shouldn’t be enough to chase paying customers away. It felt like racial profiling when we are all licensed attorneys. I will be serving this establishment with a formal complaint.

⭐ 1-Star Review I had an extremely disappointing experience. I ordered a drink based on the menu description, but it didn’t match at all. I didn’t drink it and politely asked for a substitute. Instead of helping, the white woman behind the counter told me “no” because she “can’t resell it,” then took the drink and threw it away. I was still charged $35 for a drink I didn’t consume, and when I asked about it, I was told I’d have to pay again for a different one. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I left feeling disrespected and ripped off. Definitely not coming back.

I was greeted with the most obnoxious server I ever encountered in my 39 years. She was very racist. She was yelling at me taking my order. This is my first time here I will ask her what she recommend. She was very short with me gave me a lot of attitude. I told her I was gonna wait outside for my food because my dog was in the car. She yelling at me saying I can’t bring my dog in when I never said anything about bringing a dog in. Just let her know I want to sit outside on the patio. She continue to try to argue with me and I told her with a smile hey, I’m not argumentative just cause I’m a black woman don’t give me attitude. She was very rude. I told her I wanted it no lettuce or no tomato on my pro boy I want it on the side with extra house sauce. The sandwich was so dry so soggy The chicken was big and dry. I spent $18 on the poor boy that I didn’t even eat. It’s still in the living room on the counter and after the way she yelled and talk to me. I didn’t even want my food anymore, but I didn’t wanna return it because I’m not that type of person I work hard for my money And I feel like just because I’m black I should not be treated differently or judged. I don’t have an attitude. I’m not angry and I don’t yell and I don’t appreciate being yelled at. It wasn’t even no music plan like that for her to be yelling over the music yelling at me. I asked her about the drinks the different flavors of the daiquiri she was very rude. She didn’t even wanna tell me about the flavors And the daiquiris were so watery.
