Left Wing Irvine Reviews
First time here and wished I had found this spot before. Opted for the sweet and spicy chicken...went with the boneless along with a side of rice. There was only a medium and large size option for the chicken but I sure as hell wasn't complaining. The chicken was delicious! I liked that there was some kick....not crazy spicy but just enough. The chicken was fired just right...crispy but perfect crunch. Wish the side of rice was larger but oh well. Will be back soon.
It's a Korean fried chicken shack in the food court inside of the Hmart. I tried other Korean fried chicken places such as Bonchon, BBQ, Love Letter, and Chan Chan, but this is the one and only place where they have competitive Korean fried chicken. When it comes to Korean fried chicken, sauce and the batter should be good. Left Wing is good in both, not too salty, not too soggy, or not too sweet. I had large half and half with sweet and spicy and garlic soy (bone-in). Chickens were fried just right. I am very glad to have a competitive Korean fried chicken in town. Definitely recommend if you want to try Korean fried chicken. ps: what's funny is that this is a popular korean franchise, but chickens here taste better than the same franchise's seoul store :)
Food was really good. Dude that helped me was really nice too. ~$16 for the burger combo + mac salad. The fried chicken was juicy and flavorful .
Great Chicken and service is always fast.
Good quality of chicken with decent price

This is the best Korean Fried Chicken in Irvine. Tried all the different places and this place has by far the best flavor. Service is pretty good and the staff is always friendly. Recommend the sweet and spicy flavor
Great chicken and flavors. I have to say probably my favorite place to get korean chicken in the Irvine area. It does tend to be pricey but to be frank so is every other chicken joint. I would recommend to give it a try, especially the soy garlic flavor!
I expected plain chicken, this was awesome. First time I tried it was good, but then again I was hungry at the time and thought maybe it was just me Second time I tried it, it was still the best chicken I've ever tried. I had the original crispy and while the others look good I will stick with my first choice
Left Wing has variable conditions unfortunately .... When it's bad, it's just acceptable but when they get it right, it's amazing! At worst, it's over seasoned/too salty. Standing above everyone else is the option to go boneless!
Love the honey butter garlic chicken, always with 2 sides of rice
Loved the “kkochi” which I think is a must try! Lovely staff who is kind with great service!! Definitely recommend🫶🏻🫶🏻

The medium size portion is too much for one person! Although the side dish (mixed cabbage) was too small! I wished they have a small size option too (for the chicken I mean)! My wings were actually mostly fried thighs (just one wing), I liked it but I can imagine it could be a downside for some people who really looking for wings! The quality was good overall! The original one was a bit spicy!

Fried chicken is very tasty. Not super crispy but crispy enough. I recommend the boneless version. Looks like they got rid of the skin before frying. Will be back soon...

The honey garlic sauce is very sweet and there was too much sauce. The sweet flavor overpowers everything else. Personally not crispy enough and I wish the boneless chicken pieces are bigger
Pretty good to satisfy your chicken cravings, but good only to try once.

The service was terrible. Even when you walk right up to her, she ignores the customers. The food came out very slowly too. Thumbs down.

Lady ignore us as we waited , then when asked what size are the chicken wings she said she doesn't know with attitude then said idk they come different sizes , then she said what flavor , she was all around rude and didnt care to be there. Asked her before hand if there was anything hot and not sweet so we got soy chilli but it was super sweat and the chicken was soggy terrible service and too top it off soggy chicken all around bad
Wait forever to get an order. Ordered original but got spicy ones. Wings are not of good quality, not even sure they are wings or not…
