We had an amazing experience at Puesto’s, thanks to our incredible waiter, Spencer. Despite being the only server on staff, Spencer never missed a beat. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we (Oma & Eugenia) were taken care of. Spencer was able to described dishes with such clarity and enthusiasm that it made choosing our meals a delight. Spencer’s calm and professional demeanor made the evening so enjoyable, even during a busy rush. We left not only impressed by the food but truly grateful for the outstanding service. We absolutely enjoyed Spencer and let’s not forget Ms. Maureen (she is lovely). Can’t wait to come back! MENU SELECTION: 1. Jalapeños Caesar salad with a side of grilled chicken. (Yummy and refreshing) 2. Short Rib Birria Bowl (100/10 - delectable) 3. Watermelon hibiscus Aqua Fresca, as well as the pineapple Agua Fresca. 10/10

Puesto Park Place Irvine. I have been here a few times, and I am never disappointed. The food here is very flavorful and delicious. Every gourmet taco that I have ordered is a 10, Lobster Taco Wow, Short Rib Quesabirria Taco Wow, and the different hot sauces that they have are fantastic. Don't forget the guacamole. You can also try the Chicharrones ask for two or three of the different hot sauces that they have for dipping the Chicharrones. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages served. Did I forget to mention Taco Tuesday? All tacos are 1/2 price dine-in only and starting at 3:00 P.M. Happy Hour M-F 3 to 5. Try it, believe me, you will like it.

Came here after a night of bowling right down the street. I’ve been here a couple times and always grab the tacos. Easy, fun, affordable, and tasty! Our server was the bomb….I don’t remember her name but I do remember she said she was from Turkey! Give her a raise! She was awesome. Our group had a blast.

I really enjoyed this place. I dont usually get margaritas, theyre usually too sweet or too sour...just too juicy, but the cadillac marg was very good. I had the Esquite (street corn dip) to start. The flavor was great but I feel it could have used a bit more cheese & crema. Beyond the thin top layer, it was just corn. I had two tacos...the taco of the month, a pork should of some sort & the filet mignon. The pork shoulder was amazing. The filet was cooked nicely & a decent cut of meat, but for me the pieces were too big for a taco. I ended up eating it with a knife & fork. The crispy cheese blanket on the tacos was awesome. The service was great. I was greeted quickly and she was very knowledgeable & attentive. The atmosphere was fun, modern & clean. The music wasnt too loud, which happens too often. Theres plenty of seating as well.

Puesto in Irvine delivers some seriously delicious tacos, fresh, flavorful, and full of creative twists. The ambiance is lively and modern, making it a great spot for casual dining or a fun night out. However, the ceviche was a letdown. It lacked the brightness and balance you’d expect, feeling more like a side dish than a star. Still, if you’re here for tacos, you’re in for a treat. Service was solid, and the drinks are worth trying too. Just skip the ceviche and stick with what they clearly do best.

Ordinary food is nothing exceptional. I ordered enchiladas but it was super salty . They charge for the chips and salsa. It is a bit pricey. The atmosphere was ok . You need to park across and walk to the restaurant.

I went there for lunch and everything was fantastic. The gal that waited on me was very friendly, the food was amazing. I'm giving it a four-star because at the very end of my meal it appeared that a manager was issuing disciplinary action to an employee, one table away from where I was sitting. I thought that was extremely unprofessional.

The food was very good but pricy for the size. Perhaps on half price taco Tuesday it might have left me with a better feeling. The street tacos begin at about $9 each and they recommend 3 tacos for a dinner. It took 45 minutes to get a chopped salad and the server forgot to add the fish on some of the salads. Nice place but our party of 8 spent about $400 and after 2 hours of getting our entry they told us another party was waiting and we could go out on tge patio if we wished to stay. We left

**PSA** They do NOT have Happy Hour anymore and Snacks and Shares are not 1/2 off anymore. However, if you Google "Puesto Park Place Happy Hour", Google AI will tell you that there is Happy Hour from 3-5PM. The food is always great, but the service at this location leaves something to be desired. This is our 2nd visit in the last 6 months when our server has disappeared halfway through our meal and never returned. They don't come by and say - I'm going on break or I'm rolling off and so and so is taking over . . . they just disappear and we are left sitting there for upwards of 20 minutes hoping someone will stop by. Today we finally had to flag down another server and ask for our check and a box. Our server also never returned with chips and salsa she said she was bringing. So, always 5 stars for food, but 1-2 stars for service.

I started with a michelada, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark, lacking the distinct flavor one expects from this classic Mexican drink. 🍹 I decided to switch to a mojito, which was an improvement but still fell short of being truly satisfying. 🌮We ordered a variety of tacos and ceviches. The tacos were undeniably delicious, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. 📌However, I did find them to be a bit overpriced, especially considering that they arrived at our table only lukewarm. The ceviches were enjoyable, though the long wait time for our food was a notable downside. Another challenge was the parking situation—it was quite difficult to find a spot nearby. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restrooms left something to be desired, which detracted from the overall experience. 📌In summary, Puesto has a lot of potential with its gorgeous decor and friendly staff, but there are areas that need improvement, such as food temperature, drink quality, and overall service speed. Ratings: Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Food: 3/5 With a few tweaks, Puesto could truly shine. I hope to see these improvements on my next visit.

Easily the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant. Puesto accepted my catering order just two hours before the scheduled delivery time, giving me every reason to believe the order was confirmed and being prepared. Then—2.5 hours later—they canceled it. Yes, after the delivery window had already passed. The result? I was left with no food for 12 guests and zero time to find a replacement. No urgency, no accountability, no meaningful attempt to fix the situation—just a cancellation and silence while I dealt with the fallout. Accepting an order you can’t fulfill is bad enough; canceling it after the fact is completely unacceptable. If you’re considering Puesto for catering or any time-sensitive event, don’t. They’ve shown they can’t be trusted to follow through when it actually matters. This wasn’t a small inconvenience—it was a total failure of service and professionalism. WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD!
