Sunright Tea Studio is popular for its high-quality boba, alternative milk options, and unique drinks like Creme Brulee and Dubai Chocolate Frostie. Customers appreciate the self-ordering system and clean environment. Some find the drinks too sweet and mention inconsistent boba texture.
Tip: Order online for quick pickup and consider adjusting the sweetness level to your preference, especially if adding flavored boba.

The drinks were really good, with a great variety of options to customize your order. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. Definitely a place I would come back to!
Never have any issues here. Always nice staff. Also never had boba with the creme brulee pudding at the bottom. Definitely a first and wish other places had that. Also the Dubai chocolate frostie is bomb, wish there was a peanut butter add-in option.
I recently visited Sunright Tea Studio and sampled three of their popular drinks: Taro Boba Tea, Matcha Strawberry, and Boba Milk Tea with Cheese Foam & Cream Brûlée. Each drink was exceptional, boasting rich, well-balanced flavors and perfect textures. The Taro Boba Tea had a smooth, creamy consistency, while the Matcha Strawberry offered a refreshing blend of earthy and fruity notes. The Boba Milk Tea with Cheese Foam & Cream Brûlée was a delightful indulgence, combining sweet and savory elements in every sip. 📌One thing to note is that the customer service was a bit slow, but the staff made up for it with their kindness and politeness. They were attentive and ensured we had a pleasant experience despite the wait. ☘️A unique and fun aspect of Sunright Tea Studio is their suggestion to shake your beverage 17 times before drinking it. This isn't just a quirky gimmick; it's their tried-and-true method for blending flavors and textures perfectly. Plus, it encourages you to take a moment to savor a happy moment, which is a lovely touch. 🍵Sunright Tea Studio embodies the sunny vibes and diverse culture of Southern California. They take pride in sourcing high-quality ingredients and preparing their drinks with great care and intention. The studio offers a welcoming space to share time with family and friends, perfect for an afternoon tea or a casual hangout. The creative product line reflects the free spirit of California, making each visit feel special. 🧋Overall, Sunright Tea Studio offers not just great drinks, but a delightful experience that brightens your day. I highly recommend giving them a try!
First time stopping in her. Flavors were excellent and boba was actually cooked so it was soft and chewy. I had a to go order with multiple drinks, the put it in a bag and it was all in a cup holder so it was convenient for me to transport home for us without worry of spilling. Inside was cute but simple decor. Will definitely be back. All flavors were delicious but the mango frostie was our absolute favorite! Also tried oreo brulee and pudding milk tea, also tasty but the mango really stood out.
The 4 Seasons milk tea and the Oreo frosted shake were both good. Rich, complex flavor. Not too much ice. Good amount of boba. A bit expensive, but competitive in this location and economy
Oat milk! Almond Milk! Finally a high quality boba place with alternative milk options. Really love this place. I think the hype has gone down because there was no line and a very easy self ordering system. Simply order, pay and wait for your drink. High quality ingredients, cups and modern design. This is my new go to boba place in Irvine.
Got a Red Bean Matcha Frostie. The environment was clean and you could self-order via kiosk. The takeout bag was neatly packaged and had my name written on it. Drinks were fantastic, had a great aesthetic and were perfectly sweetened, unlike most other places where reduced sweet is required.
We went to the soft opening so possibly not the most accurate. Space: Clean, open space with large screens for the menu. A lot of standing room with some seating. One register at the time so the line was a little slow moving. Drinks were pretty standard with some unique drinks and cheesefoam. Drinks can be ordered with varying sweetness and ice, sub milk with organic milk, almond or oatmilk. Order: Sunright Milk Tea, Strawberry Jasmine Tea, Oreo Brulee Milk Tea, Panda Milk tea (mixture of sugar and honey boba), Taro Milk Tea. Teas were all good, without being overly sweet and had a clean taste. Sweetness is pretty low at 75%. All over, stands up to your other standard shops.
This place was solid. Today I ordered ahead online and it told me my drink would be ready in 20 minutes but my drink was ready in 10 minutes. The pickup door is by the patio and you just grab your drink or bag with your name on it. I got the creme brule and it was super good! I would recommend 50% sweetness for those of you who don't care for sweet drinks. If you're looking for a safe boba place to avoid contact with others i recommend online ordering from Sunright! You can still order inside and wait for your drink. They had a lot of staff this holiday weekend so they will get your drink out in a reasonable time.
Very yellow vibes. Online order is pretty good, they give you a cute bag for online orders. Boba was a little overcooked but they were very busy. Tea was aight too. Would go if you dont wanna wait for that omomo line lol

So the line was ridiculously long, but they are soooooo good, and the workers are on point and work together so quickly and efficiently. Even though the line was long they were getting multiple drink orders out to customers very quickly.
Drinks come out quick and taste great. Slightly sweeter than I would hope (even after asking for 50% sweetness), but still enjoyed the order and would come back!
Great drinks! Very easy to order online and pick up. Great system inside of self-ordering at a screen, great customization options for the drinks.
I had one of their orange drinks right before class for a pick-me-up and it was tasty and did the trick. It even had actual orange slices at the bottom. Delicious and refreshing.
The quality of the bona is really good but most importantly the service is excellent, especially the gentleman in the front.
Quick service, clean place, and great drinks! We always try to stop here on our way to L.A. and on the way home (San Diego).
Always like sunright boba drinks! I love their matcha and many milk options. I like getting oat milk or almond milk!
Taro Boba Milk!!! Must try!! So good! Best boba in OC in my opinion.
Not your typical boba chain. This is high quality milk tea and my favorite spot in Orange County. Service is extremely quick especially if you order online. Within 15 minutes, and often quicker, your drinks will be ready to pickup, conveniently located on a table at the side of the building with minimal contact. Everything I've tasted here was amazing. Special shout-out to the fruit teas (add lychee jelly and thank me later) and the summer specials – the watermelon cooler is so refreshing on hot days, and I will cry when the peach frostie is discontinued. Overall the menu is diverse and toppings are extremely fresh!
Good place to get boba and tea drinks in Irvine. Their taro milk tea uses real taro (not purple taro flavoring powder) which is nice. Good quality ingredients and decent tasting tea makes for a good combination. You can adjust the sweetness of your drink from 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%. The ice levels are also adjustable.
Nice chewy boba - their honey boba are not dark like typical tapioca pearls, just a heads up. Fantastic system, especially for covid-19. There is no cashier, only a kiosk/tablet where you order. Pickup is at a separate desk and you pick up from outdoors. You can also order online if you don't want to go inside at all :)
Sunright Tea Studio is in a small plaza with other Asian restaurants / shops at the very end of the plaza. Parking wasn't too bad (mostly 90 minute parking stops as a heads-up). Coming into the Tea Studio, I haven't been in a while, but what I love about Sunright is really solid boba (soft, chewy) as well as a good selection of drinks in a great size. It looks like they added a lot more to the menu, at least in this location. The coffee section for instance had more than the coffee oolong which used to be their only option and now it lists 3 options! I got the iced americano because I needed a pick-me-up for throughout the day. It came out pretty quickly (not too many people) although much like other locations, normal customers will be using the tablet to order. The iced americano was good and loved the location, although it looked like seating was only mainly available in the patio outside.
Honestly, stumbled upon this chain in Los Angeles, and have been super impressed since. Been coming here non stop as my go to boba, amongst friends and SO, for the following reasons: -great fresh boba, customizable tea, tastes fresh, clean store, affordable, awesome cheese foam that’s not too sweet and not too salty. Cheese foam jasmine tea all the way.
One of my all time favorite Boba shops to go to. S Tier for sure. Their tea is very flavorful without being overly strong. I always recommend my friends to try out Sunright!
Super cute new boba shop! A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. Everything they use is fresh, including the fruit (no syrups or frozen!) and they're very particular about quality. The store itself is cute, plenty of comfortable seating and outlets. No wifi as of yet.
Good quality milk tea and boba in Irvine without a ridiculous line! I got taro milk with boba 25% sweet. I think I could have gotten it a little sweeter because the drink wasn't overly sweet. The taro flavor is from mashed taro added to the drink.
Best quality boba in the area with decent prices. The wait was pretty long, but it was worth it. Order online if possible to avoid the wait. I recommend the taro boba milk drink and the fruit tea.
The Oreo Boba is fantastic if you love a desert-like drinks. Oreo lovers should get this for sure. Fantastic options for levels of sweetness, ice, etc. Great staff. Great place.
Great place, I am glad they’re open in Irvine now. Hopefully nobody is lining up for an hour at omomo since sunright is just as good. Tried a lot of things here.... most are quite good. For fruit teas I recommend 0-25% sugar. Anything over is too sweet imo. All others I recommend 75%.
my fave tea place in irvine, milk teas are consistently good and the staff is always super nice!!
Efficient ordering system that allows you to order ahead. Nice pick up window you can use right now without entering the store. The self order computer in store is not the fastest though with all the options, so would recommend ordering ahead.
This place is amazing! I'm VERY picky with my boba, but this place nailed it! The drink is amazing, and the boba is chewy and soft. Although, there were not as many flavors as I expected. Also, this place does NOT take cash. But the service was SO FAST! I got my drink 15 seconds after ordering??? I was here when there were fewer people, so that probably explains most of it.
The taro paste is delicious. At first I literally thought it was just pure cream, that’s how light and fluffy it is. But it’s also not overly sweet, it’s perfect. I get extra every time. Please open a location in the Temecula/Murrieta area. Your locations are to far from us.
Melanie deserves 5-stars!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Quick and friendly service. My 3 year old daughter was so happy with her boba drink. Thank you for serving us today, Melanie, and for being so kind and wonderful to my daughter!
Good tea. I had an issue with the toast app tracking my purchases for points, and when I asked the manager for assistance he provided me with a free drink to compensate. Really nice of him and unexpected. If you are use the toast app for points, make sure you are scanning or inputting your rewards number, because it seems to not track listed credit cards accurately.
This is my absolute favorite tea shop! I've never been to a bad location but this is my most frequented for sure. You can set the sweetness and ice level for your drink so its to your taste preferences (I am personally at 100% sweetness but my friends sit at 75%). My top two tea choices are oolong and jasmine, with no boba because I just love the tea. They also have options for cheese and pudding add ins that my friends enjoy. Will be coming back here for a long time to come.
This place just makes me happy. The yellow decor, the people, and the delicious boba are all why! I have a few places I go to regularly in OC for boba but find myself coming back to Sunright often. I love the oolong or house milk tea, with honey boba. Also love the cheese foam, it’s different but sometimes just hits the spot. Love the mobile kiosk also.
Sunright Tea Studio is my all time favorite boba chain from Cali and I am so happy they are now in Vegas! You must try their sunright fruit tea, strawberry jasmine, sunright boba milk tea and 4 seasons cheesefoam. Both their brown sugar and honey boba are always perfectly chewy and compliment any drink. You can customize sweetness and ice levels plus ordering is off a kiosk so you can take your time and browse the menu. For being in their soft opening, service was quick and staff looked well trained and on their game.
if you like sweet Boba tea, Sunright has a great Creme Brulee boba tea that my kids and their friends LOVE!!! For the adults without sweet tooth, several options of green teas with fruit. I also tried a coconut mango slushy that was delicious.
We drove 30 minutes to check out this place and I think it was worth the trip for sure. I can’t say the staff were friendly because everything was through iPad it is a bit annoying to ask for tip when there is 0 human interaction and actual service to customers. The drink itself was good we order a few Boba teas even though we requested the least amount of sugar it still felt very sweet;which makes me think there was a mistake with the order. The boba is absolutely fresh, and definitely recommend visiting if you are a boba fan, like us! The store was decently busy not a good place to study or read a book. Better suited for social event or date.
Went for some boba tea after lunch at Kingchops on a weekday. This place was bustling with people constantly walking in. You order on the screens at the counter, pay right there, and then they call your name with the drink. I had the panda milk boba tea and I chose 25% sweetness but it was still pretty sugary. The serving size is pretty big, and I definitely felt bloated with this after a full plate for lunch.
Visited this place by recommendation from a friend. It’s tucked away in the corner of Irvine Village Plaza, where there’s some decent parking available. The shop is small but has a cozy ambiance with a good amount of seating inside and outside, making it a nice spot to hang out. The menu offers a wide variety of drinks, including classic milk teas, fruit teas, and some unique specialty options. I tried their oolong milk tea, and it was smooth and flavorful, with the boba having a nice chewy texture. The service is generally fast, but during peak hours, it can be a bit slower. There’s no direct interaction with staff since orders are placed through kiosks. They only have two kiosks, so lines tend to form during busy times. Overall, if you’re looking for a good boba spot to hang out and enjoy a refreshing drink, this place is definitely worth a visit!
White peach oolong cheese w honey boba (50% sugar, less ice): Oh my goooooddddddd. The cheese here is the best I've ever had anywhere. It's more like a sweet cream rather than a cheese which makes it so muchhh better!!!! Just try it! The white peach oolong at 50% sweetness isn't too bad. I think because of the boba and the cheese it makes it perfectly balanced. Honey boba is nice and sweet and the boba itself kind of has a tea flavor. Strawberry matcha latte w boba: Ooo. The strawberry purée is very good, not too sweet and blends well with the matcha. You can't adjust the sweetness or ice level for this drink but that's fine because it's perfect t the way it is. It isn't too sweet or too bitter. The regular boba is brown sugar boba and it doesn't have that weird raisin-y taste that some brown sugar bobas have. Great!!! One thing is the texture for the boba could be softer although the texture is better than the honey boba. The size and sweetness is perfect though! The texture for the honey boba isn't as soft and it gets firmer faster than the regular boba, not sure why. Taro boba milk (less ice): Pretty good! The brown sugar boba tastes awesome and works well w the milk. The taro is not as sweet or soft as other places but it's obviously fresh and natural which is great. I definitely would try it again with tea Strawberry jasmine w honey boba (less ice): Super refreshing! Honey boba works better w fruity drinks imo. The strawberry and jasmine are perfectly balanced and 100% sweet isn't too sweet but for health reasons I'd probably try 50% next time~
Next time will opt for 25% only on sweetness or 0. Crisp plum frostie & sunright fruit tea was good but adding in brown sugar boba and honey boba on the later really made our drinks super sweet. So either zero sugar on the drink or do not add boba.

This place had great tea! The 50% sugar was still really sweet! You should stir it quite a bit to get the tea a little bit less sweetness.
Love their Boba ❤️ We visit here quite often. Recommended for Boba.
Quick service. Milk teas are on the creamier side, so not as strong as other places. Will come again!
Partial to their taro topping as it's real taro and not a powder mix. Major plus is you can order online/ahead so eliminates the wait time, though I would put this place below what I would consider the top boba shops in Irvine - orobae and omomo
Solid option for boba. I'd recommend the Matcha/Strawberry combo, but there is so much choice. Self order kiosk allows for some customization, which is nice.
Sunright is so yummy! They have a lot of great options for teas and toppings. They are also fast and convenient. Their house milk tea is my favorite with honey boba. The jasmine grapefruit is very refreshing for summer.
I’ve been to Sunrise Tea Studios many times, and I’ve always been impressed by their drinks. This is my first visit to this particular location, and while it’s a bit different from their others in terms of ambiance, the quality of the drinks is still top-notch. I’m a big fan of their strawberry matcha and Oreo brulee – they never disappoint. At this location, you order through a kiosk, which adds a unique, self-service touch. It’s convenient, and they accept Apple Pay or card, but cash doesn’t seem to be an option. The staff is helpful, but they mainly stay behind the scenes, only engaging when they call out your name for order pickup. It’s a bit more streamlined and efficient, which some might appreciate. The seating area inside is limited, so I’d recommend this spot more for quick stops or to-go orders rather than large gatherings or long hangouts with friends. It’s a bit more utilitarian in terms of space, but overall, the drinks and service are still great, making it a solid choice for those looking to grab a delicious drink on the go!
Finally this plaza has one and only one tea studio. The line is crazily long and we waited for about 10 minutes. This place has cute interior decoration with a yellow color tone. The staff all wear yellow uniform as well. There are a few tables here and there for hanging out. I ordered a oolong Milk tea 75% sweet. It is definitely way too sweet for my taste so I’ll recommend 50% sweet in the future. Their standard cup is pretty big for the price which is good. To be improved, the restroom is pretty messy. There is no more hand soap and napkins are all over the floor.
Self-order boba shop and the drinks are made quickly. It's a bit messy inside and nowhere to sit inside but you can sit outside. There is no restroom if needed and the staff vibe is fairly young (high school/early college workers). The drinks were pretty sweet and honestly would need to order 50%-75% sweet as 100% is too much. I would come visit again but only if I'm in the plaza for something else as well.

Milk tea and fruit tea here are decent. Actually scratch that; they are good. I consider Sunright to be a solid backup when the line at Omomo gets ridiculously long. So why the 3 stars? The brulee latte with oat milk ruined it for me. I tried one and immediately regretted my decision. It contained lots of powdery substance that didn't look or taste right. The description mentioned "Ceylon tea combined with oat milk and coated with creamy caramel brulee". Where did the powder stuff come from? BTW, I also couldn't detect even a hint of caramel brulee either. Not sure exactly what happened there, but it went very, very wrong.
I'm not usually this passionate. My friend and I came here for the sunright collaboration with love and deepspace. My friend was super excited and got her Caleb and I got the Rafayel matcha. After we very happily paid for our drinks, we were waiting for our drinks and the merch. Imagine our surprise when we got nothing. After asking for the merchandise, we were told they ran out! No signage anywhere to let us know that the whole reason we came to Sunright ran out. My matcha drink was supposed to have brown sugar and I chose 100% sweetness but I couldn't taste the brown sugar at all!
I have been coming here for my boba regularly several times a week. The tea is very good. However, the bobas are not consistent, some days they are well cooked and great but other days, they are not. Today the boba is chewy and not good. So I am wondering, aren't bobas cooked using an SOP? Why are the bobas not consistently good?

The tea itself was pretty good. BUT 1. They made us wear masks while we're already past the mandate 2. we have to do a self order! ( And they still have a top jar?!) 3. There's absolutely no seating ... No, definitely not coming back as there are a lot of other choices around with great quality tea and service as well.

They don’t do the round bottom plastic cup
I came here to buy milk tea last night. The girl at the front desk was eating and making drinks at the same time. It was unbelievable and totally unmanageable.
Tea flavor was weak and the boba was really soft (overcooked?). It was okay, but for the price, not worth.
I got a black tea with less ice and got no ice then tried it again and got a mango Yakult drink and instead got an orange drink that made me sick to my stomach. Not because of being spoiled bad or anything like that but because I can’t stomach oranges. I mainly wish they would have put oranges in the description.
Had been a long time customer of this place. Ordered Cream Pudding Milk tea for take out, did not come with pudding. Milk tea for today does not taste as rich as before, disappointed.
The drinks were good. However the seats were stained, the tables very dirty, there were flies everywhere, the door was propped open letting more bugs in, and it looked like they had a roof leak that damaged furniture but still had that furniture out set up for use. The area the drinks were made looked clean and the staff used decent hygiene. The outdoor tables were covered in old food.
First time visit I smelled something stinky similar to toilet flush when entering the shop, inside was hot and crowded. I gave 2 stars because the drink is very good,I love the honey boba! But I got diarrhea that night, not sure which food I had caused it…I hope the owner let employees take food handler test🙂
Been a fans of sunright tea studio for a whole because their tea are so good, but not this store. My first time to this place since I am not from this area, and the drink is so disappointed. The strawberry tea tastes like strawberry water, and the other tea had no flavor as well.
I like the DJ location more even though that one is smaller. This one seems dingy by comparison. All of the furniture is stained, and the staff don’t seem very friendly. The DJ location is super quick, even when they’re busy. This location seems slow even when they don’t have a lot of orders. And there’s only 1 ordering kiosk. There really should be at least two. I ordered the hot Oreo brown sugar boba here. It was ok, but I still prefer the regular milk tea brown sugar one.
The drinks here are really really good. The ordering experience is terrible. Especially if you have even a small question. Order from a single kiosk while people wait behind you. The menu is fairly intuitive but still kinda complex to navigate. All staff has their backs to you and are VERY hard to get to answer any questions. Liked my drink so much I came back a second time to try again and my experience was just as bad. Both times I had questions and both times could not get anyone’s attention and gave up due to holding up the only ordering kiosk. I hope they fix this because the drinks are awesome.
Really bad boba. Ordered Four Season Latte with honey boba and Matcha Oolong Milk Tea with honey boba. Boba is SO OVERCOOKED it tasted like mush. Why didn’t someone notice this? The four season latte just tasted like milk with no tea. Matcha oolong milk tea was better. Please pay attention to the boba next time.

I ordered their strawberry yakult drink. It was watery and did not taste well. I would suggest to go somewhere else.
Used to go there everyday when this location first opened up. I hadn't visited in a while, but just now I got their Strawberry Matcha Latte (I don't remember the name well, but it's something like that) and it was so bad, like worse quality than that of basic boba places in an area where there's no boba around. The matcha and strawberry flavors didn't complement one another like they should for this type of drink; the top of the drink tasted like bitter water and then at the bottom it was just sweet. My partner got some other matcha drink and it wasn't good either. So disappointed.
Bad experience overall. Taro Milk Tea didn't taste like taro at all, the egg pudding was curdled and grainy, and the boba was flavorless. For a Boba place in a heavily Asian influenced, I excepted way better.
They have good selection of drinks for sure, but having that is not enough for customer satisfaction. This place need a deep cleaning and respectful employees with good manners. We had to enter thru really dirty doors, they were playing really explicit song, my 12 year old son with me, they didn't care, and kept playing it. I had yo tell them they shouldn't play songs like that especially when there kids in there. They stopped it, and starting smiling. That was so disrespectful. Even though my kids love their boba, I'll never go back there.
Used to be good but sadly drink quality and taste has degraded significantly over the past couple of years. Boba is over cooked and in large clumps! There are many other better options in Irvine.
Terrible experience! California has canceled wearing masks as a state law and this cafe still forced us to put it on. They have no right to do that! We make orders at a tablet screen and not by speaking either. The boba is good but this sucks
the store was nasty, there were stains on the chairs and sticky tables. the baristas were unprofessional and rude. one girl was making my drink and stopped to drink her drink and then went back with no hand washing or anything?? so unsanitary and another girl was on her phone and also did not wash her hands before making drinks.
We haven't been to this specific store for more than half year because of their drink quality and service attitude. Today, we decided to give it a try, my daughter went into the store to pick up my drink and accidentally dropped it on the floor. She apologized for the spilled but the worker stared at her and told her it will be cleaned and did not offer a new drink. Jamboree store will always provide proper service instantly (at least not giving a poker face nor staring at their customers). It’s only a drink, and it’s less than $10. Store atmosphere and service attitude is quite an important factor for customers to revisit. I would never recommend anyone to visit this store again. I've been to many different Sunright Studios, this is the worst Sunright gave customers attitude.
So... The tea was pretty good. I just didn't like that they gave me a mask though the mandate is over, and they still make you self order at a kiosk and there are no inside chairs. It's almost like we weren't in Irvine or Orange County at all. Very rude staff as well. Oh well, won't be back.
I ordered a signature coffee with agar boba and stated "easy ice" on its note. However, such a small cup (16oz)full of the ice, I wonder if I don't put a note, the full cup will be filled with ice. Very disappointed! I took pictures of the note on the cup and open up ice 3/4 of the cup but there is no attachment can be shown... Whoever read this message, I suggest choosing "no ice", we don't pay ice with drink. Be careful that kind of scam.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service at this boba shop. I specifically requested no ice in my drink, yet they refused to accommodate my simple request. As a woman experiencing discomfort during a specific time of the month, it's frustrating enough to deal with physical pain, and having to deal with unhelpful and inflexible service only adds to the stress. This place clearly doesn't prioritize customer satisfaction or basic needs.
