BENTO Jacksonville Riverside Jacksonville Reviews
So so yummy!! I tried the Korean rice bowl with chicken Orange chicken rice bowl, TNT sushi roll and the Mt. Fuji sushi roll and loved all of it! Super flavorful and you get a lot of food (enough for 2 meals if you can stop yourself from devouring it all in one sitting 😂). They have about 25 locations all over the state so definitely try one out. The restaurant was clean and modern. Good for something quick or to sit down and eat with friends. It would also be perfect to take to go for a quick lunch or pick up for your family at home. I know I’ll be back to try out their noodle bowls, bento boxes and poke bowls!
Clean store front other than where you put used dishes at. It was overflowing with dirty dishes. But in their defense they were super busy pushing out food. Everything was very good and the price you can't beat for the size food you get. Just know you will need a Togo box before leaving.
Food was good! Ample enough food for the family. Requested a to go plate! Not crowded for a Friday. Very clean inside. Served on time! Will definitely be back!
This restaurant is good option to have lunch or dinner, I personally got the katsu and Bubba tea and they good but was around 17 dollars for this Two things, the place is nice but just need more restroom.
Moved from NYC to Jax amidst the pandemic and was really sad to say goodbye to all the great Japanese curry katsu spots. Lo and behold, I’ve found my fix! Got takeout and was happily surprised to find that the chicken was still hot and crunchy when I opened the container. My single gripe is that there wasn’t enough curry in my container to last the whole bowl, but that may be a personal preference (and can be easily fixed by ordering more 😈). Really excited to end the Riverwalk here on a hot summer day for boba tea!

This little gem is hidden away, and the food was delightful. I have never been to a Bento before, and the gentleman behind the counter helped me pick out my bowl and described certain items. I was so pleased with my dinner. It was a LOT of food, and if I wasn't starving after my day-long drive, I would have saved half of it for lunch the following day. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was amazing. When I come back to town, I will definitely be eating here again!
Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants, but this location took the cake overall. Clean, nice interior and such friendly staff. The blonde cashier that was working today around 3pm, I don’t know what she’s paid, but she needs a raise! She made the whole experience so much better with how kind and helpful she was. She interacted with my son amazingly and was very patient while he was ordering his food. She also made sure we had everything we needed so we didn’t have to leave our table and could enjoy our food. Thank you for the great experience yet again!

Good place to enjoy Asian cushine. Pad Thai we had was good, rolls were great too. It’d be greaat if they could expand their seating to outside too at the back. Overall, good experience.
Got the wok fried rice with beef. Came at 8 pm close to closing around 9:30 and didn't really get any help until I asked if they were open. Food was okay service was ok.
The ginger dressing is great. I ordered the volcano roll and it was great. I would recommend the place.
Date: Spring 2022 Note: bobba Tea to go purchase only I can only review on a quick to-go order of a Bobba tea. The drink itself was amazing, I got a mango coconut bobba tea and it had really good flavor. They have outside seasing which wasn't very welcoming and no outside trashcans anywhere. The staff we interacted with was nice and they have happy hour here.

It's best to get your food to go. Three of us went in to order back to back ,sat at the same table for came out 8-10 minutes between us . We did not eat together. We watched each other eat. I can say food was hot and fresh. I am thinking shirt staff? Young lady at register was bright and friendly where she operated two registers. Food was delicious.
First time at this location, always enjoyed their food at the Town Center Restaurant. Food was always amazing so going to JAX today craving for some of our favorite Bento dishes, we decided to try Riverside location. I ordered a regular size rice Poke Bowl with Shrimp and Tuna $16 and a Miami Roll $16 No Drinks When food made it to our table we felt disappointed, it did not impressed us as we were used to. My Mother had the Tuna & Shrimp bowl and I tried to have the roll but honestly was no just ugly and poorly looking, it was not good. Shrimp tempura was supposed to be very crunchy and it was not quiet. What a bad lunch dinner for almost $36 Manager or Assistant Manager tried to convince me the specs were correct but honestly it was more than specs. She gave us a $15 Gift Card in exchange to the roll. I wont be back to that location ever again.
The food is usually ok... but they always forget something or the skimp on something. A few days ago i ordered a side of garlic green beans and there were barely 10 green beans in there it seemed. It was maybe 2 or 3 bites. And the prices are not cheap. So now I guess I need to check every container. Spent $90 for the whole mean.... only to get home and open the container to see that. I was pissed.
The place was very clean. I loved the environment, it was beautiful and stylish. But unfortunately, the flavor from the food didn't quite seem on the same level. I ordered the sushi bento box. The two sushi I added were the avocado and mt. Fuji and were quite good. But the Cali roll was chewy and tasted almost stale as though it was made earlier that day or the day prior and just stored for future bento. My two companions got rice bowls and neither of them cared for the flavor. They didn't have quite a few flavors available due to shortages, but it is what it is. The drink I created was a passion fruit green tea with passion fruit jelly. It was my favorite part of the meal. Though, they don't currently have mango flavor, so I had to substitute. All in all it's a beautiful place to relax in. The food wasn't good enough to say I'd come back to it. If you live near here you should give it a try. Their specialty sushi is good, as well as the drinks.
I ordered a taro milk tea and it wasn’t good unfortunately. The food was decent 7/10. What made the experience bad though was just the service. Extremely slow and they aren’t taking into consideration of customers time. By the way we order the milk teas and they took over 20 mins to make them.
These high speed people don’t know the difference between rice and lo mein. I drove 25 minutes to get the wrong food. Management contacted me and resolved the situation. Hopefully the people preparing the food will do it correctly in the future.

The food here is delicious and always above expectations. However, they are always extremely under-staffed which leads to heavy wait-times and if you have a hot item and a cold item, your cold item is either luke-warm when you get it or the hot item is cold. Very frustrating that you can't have food at the correct temperature because they won't staff appropriately. 3 people during a lunch rush just isn't enough.
Should've read the reviews before I came in 😬 nice place that's why they get two stars. Food... mediocre at best. Tuna was definitely not a healthy temp so didn't eat but one of my rolls. For the price, I expected ALOT better quality. Dirty looking plates. Employees not friendly. Needs help for sure.
Udon noodles were so bland. The portion size was so small and a combo took me to $25. Not worth the money spent, lesson learned.

This was $5. More green beans are served with the kids bento box. WTH. And then. A $15 roll cut into 5 pieces. This franchise is super subpar.
