It's a small building but the staff are always amazing and the quality of food is top notch! My absolute favorite KFC!

Famous bowl is the way to if you want a filling meal for 5 dollars. Just keep in mind that if you order the bowl by itself is more money that if you by the meal. Does not make sense to me but I asked and that's what I was told.

Always enjoy my meal when I come here, service is friendly, and the food is normally on point. I wish the one in Amsterdam could have either stayed open or moved to a newer building... because this is the closest KFC to me as a result.

I don't know why, but the food is better at this KFC than any other in the area. Kudos to the employees at the Johnstown KFC!

Best KFC in NY! Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh. Always clean and inviting. We drive an hour and a half just to eat at this restaurant.

Placed an order online for pickup. I got to KFC a little early and waited for my food. It was very busy (drive through and walk ins) and the staff (Jocelyn - worked front counter...i cannot remember other staff member) were excellent and got everyone in and out! They were very nice! We haven't been to KFC in years...the food was great!

Paid just under $6 thru an external app that allows for pickup of a "surprise bag" just before closing to allow for minimal food waste. I think the value is absolutely wonderful! I got seven total pieces which fed me well tonight and will be tomorrow's meal. Pickup was seamless and staff was friendly and courteous. Thanks again KFC! Bravo!

The staff/customer service employees are kind and very considerate .I’ve ordered food for a party and every time I’ve called with questions staff were pleasant and helpful . I’ve also picked up to go food several times this month and it has been excellent ! Kudos to this KFC !! Great staff and Best food !!!

Food was good, hot.I will more than likely return. The chicken was very crispy and hot. Mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty and hot. My favorite coleslaw was cold and amazing. It's been awhile since I've appreciated and enjoyed fast food, I'm usually dissatisfied. Not this time, my money was well spent.

It was just ok. BUT, they did not have enough help like all over. So the drive through was quicker then going in to take out. Employees were great trying to handle the crowd. The food was fresh and hot. They did their absolute best and we're still smiling. Kudo's to the employees. Will be back again.

For a fast food place this one is good. The food is hot and fast. The people are friendly. Only complaint would be they are so popular that the drive thru line is normally out to the road.

It is nice chicken very well seasoned the staff seem to be friendly and at the end of the day it's KFC so you know what you're getting.

This KFC is centrally located in the town of Johnstown. Easy access. Traffic is sometimes heavy on the arterial in front. Dining room is small, but generally clean. Music is played a bit too loud for my taste. Staff is generally helpful, and attentive. Prices are average; equal to other KFC's.

Friendly drive-thru staff, always correct orders. Good clean presentation thru drive thru. Actual lot could be bigger. I drive a big truck and manage but parking lot layout is aweful.

Food is fresh and yummy! Biscuits soft and fresh! Substitute fries for mashed and change your meat selection if you prefer. Great customer service, friendly and accommodating! Prices are excessive!! Coupons are available on occasion in local newspapers.

Food is good, service is great... staff is helpful, patient and friendly. Just one suggestion... the drive-thru needs to be redone, I'm sure the winters put a tole on it but it's become extremely bumpy and very rough on vehicles. Other than that, no complaints.

I really enjoy their mashed potato bowls. Very yummy. Employees aren't always very friendly, however if you enjoy fried chicken fast, this iny opinion is the best option in our local area. The grocery stores offer their version of fried chicken but it just doesnt quite compare to KFC. So the not so friendly employees I can deal with for the great taste of the fried chicken.

Walked in was greeted made my order paid took my and left service was fast everything looked good and expect to be good as last time.

KFC seems to vary a lot from one location to another. This location in Johnstown, NY has been good. I've been there twice and the food was all hot, the chicken was fresh, crispy, juicy, and tender both times. It truly was "finger lickin' good." The atmosphere is what I would expect of a fast food restaurant. Nothing fancy. Not as clean as it could be but not objectionable in any way. The dining area is small but most people seem to do takeout so the handful of tables have never been even half full the times I've been there.

I’m taking one star away because of the parking lot and lobby. If you value your car don’t drive on the property the potholes will kill it. Drive thru is 8-2 just a bit too short for our handicapped van. Inside is clean and cozy. But register is too close to the entrance so the front gets congested really fast. Add a wheelchair, a few people and you basically just shut down the exit and entrance. I got the meal #10 and it was delicious. Chicken cooked perfectly and sides were fresh and delicious as well.

It's not bad for fast food and I like their special fries. Service is pretty slow at this location.

The manager jj is a great person and they will take care of you. Door dash messed up my order and they jj took care of me

Food size is small, chicken with not alot of meat on it. Flavor is good and for the most part staff get you in and out.

Nver can get an order right. We complain all the time gets us no where . Ask for a side of Cole slaw, get charged for it but never receive it .

I had a go and change my chicken legs because they were dry and this blonde girl was very rude there was a young guy at the front he was really polite. He was fast and courteous he apologized and said sorry and I was please with his answer.

Got wings ate them in house along with a pot pie! The pot pie was excellent! The wings on other hand were from what looked like a bunch of premies chickens!! I kid you not they were not even 2 inches long,what a RIP off. If the Colonel seen them he would not let them sell them in a store with his name associated with it!!buyer beware

The food tasted excellent and the staff was pleasant. But....we ordered the 5 peice tenders box which clearly shows and states that it comes with two sides, abiscuit, and a drink. The cashier insisted it only came with one side. When we received our meals I only had 4 tenders. Definitely not worth $10 plus tax for 4 tenders,1 side, a biscuit, and a drink. I could have just got the same exact box with 3 tenders for only $5. I paid $5 more for 1 extra peice of chicken.

4 out of 10 rating for the food 7 out of 10 rating for The Friendly service 1 out of 10 rating for the setup for the parking lot to include the walk to the only entrance with the drive-thru Lane in the way 3 out of 10 rating for the waiting area to place your order at the register.

Spent 35 dollars on a 8 piece family bucket came with a bunch of thighs... Not worth the money !! I'll be going to Popeyes next time they just opened in Amsterdam

The changes that have been made at the local kfc are ridiculous and the food has suffered and for the price u pay now ill never go back again.

Could have been much cleaner. The parking lot and driver thru are poorly designed and difficult to navigate out of. The wings I bought had a quarter of an inch of grease in the bottom of the container.

The fries were thrown into the bag. They where dumped all over not even in the containers. They also threw the roll into the bag and it landed in the fri container. The people in front of us handed the drinks back. And when we got our drink mine was flat(I got sprit) it tasted like water and was NOT anything like soda.

It took 15 mins. for our meal which only consisted of 2 littles, 1 sandwich, 1 famous bowl, and a two drumstick meal...they said it was going to be a 7 minute wait for biscuits. The price on the littles are higher than any KFC within a 30 mile radius. $2 for each little! I noticed that 3 of my sandwiches were made for 3 separate drive-thu customers that arrived after I ordered. It's definitely a poor excuse of a KFC!

Sad to say. They don't do chicken right anymore. Ordered some chicken tenders a few days ago. The quality was no better than tenders I could get out of the frozen food aisle at the market. Not to mention it was overpriced. First time I visited a KFC in a while. I wont be coming back.

Staff was very nice about me telling them the chicken sucked today. I was actually pissed off and disappointed. They closed the location in Oneonta, NY so I rarely get to eat KFC, I got the Famous bowl and the nuggets were hard, I got the extra crispy 2 piece and the chicken skin was just super oily and honestly didnt even tast the same.. I asked if Crispy and Extra Crispy were the same flavor and they said yes just cooked longer but I'll never try it again. I did complain about the food, and they didn't offer anything. Just kind of a better luck next time kind of vibe. They were nice, they did apologize for the food.

The service was awful, and the food was mediocre. Was told i could not have certain items on the menu. Bad place, would not recommend.

I wanted BBQ chicken tenders what was on their menu but without the combo. They wanted to charge me 9$ for the tenders then 3$ for the sauce which is more than the combo itself so I left without getting anything.

I went thru the drive thru. I pull up and the women gets on the mic rude. I pull up to the window and there is 3 women inside all just talking/ laughing and they mess my order up and hand me my food rude, i understand its work make it fun. But when you have a customer you should really worry more about that customer and not about what happened at your girlfriends house the other night. Smh horrible service.

Disgusting place. When first walking in i immediately noticed all the flies. When my order was finished i noticed a hair on my chicken so i returned it for new chicken and they really asked me if i wanted everything new... like really? Then when i got a "new plate" the chicken they gave me was so dry and had barely any meat that wasnt fat or too dry to chew... i will never come here again this place was absolutely disgusting. The flies harassed me the entire time i was there and I really had a HAIR in my food and was looked at like I was the rude one...

The crew was nice... they did a great job till i left and notice my tenders were not there i turn back fine they were really nice with nk question the gave me the tenders aak me if i need anything else i told them no i think i got everything else but never check to see... Reason i realize about the tender cause my daughters ask if they can have a piece till we get home...i said yes and they were not there...then after i get the tenders i leave come home already mad cause my other food now ots getting colder and from johnstown to Amsterdam its a lil far...anyways i get home i start serving n i notice im missing wings on my other pf wings and biscuits....and then i missing a nasville hot sandwich...i was gonna call or go back but for what they just gonna say im sorry n give the food....

I just came from the kfc in Johnstown. The friendly employee taking my order didn't have his mask up over his nose. As he was putting on his gloves I asked him to put his mask up. He did so snd then used his gloved hand to push his hair off his forehead. He didn't know how to apply senior discount so he called his manager. The manger also was not wearing his mask. I looked around and saw no one was. I turned around and walked out. Phoned health department. Very unsanitary conditions.

Got to kfc at 12pm. Ordered 2 bbq chicken littles and a famous bowl. Waited for 40min, for my food. Watching people walk in and out with theres. I got my meal. I had 2 plane chicken littles and no spoon to eat my famous bowl. I stood at the counter and asked 3 times for a spoon i was ignored. I yelled "can i have a spoon." The middle aged lady, dark brownish hair, (i was so mad i never got her name) grabbed a spoon and threw it at me from the kitchen with not one word said. I am more than upset with this service. I wanted my bbq chicken littles but was to affraid cops would be called just for me to get that. I will never go back to this kfc. EVER.

Phone rings and rings and rings. Ordered pickup, app says walk in and get it. On arrival, Lobby is locked and there are 10 cars in the drive thru. Now I wait 15 mins after my pickup time in a line while my order gets cold.

I believe I was being targeted because of my race because they sold me a order that was pricey even though they had better deals then they put my debit card in the payment machine so hard that they broke a piece of my debit card and they claimed it was a mistake but how can you break a hard debit card unless you use exssesive force I’m gonna report them and I’m never going back to them again

I ordered 2 pc family meals. I was in a hurry and there were cars behind me so I didn't check the order. When I realized I only got half the order I went back to get the rest. Still wasn't given half of the sides I ordered and the whole time you could hear the kitchen staff goofing around through the drive threw speaker. Very unprofessional! So I spent $60 on food and didn't get everything I ordered.

I ordered a 4 piece spicy tender meal, and apparently they don’t sell the spicy chicken tenders in a 4 piece meal, but the man taking the order did not say that we could not get the 4 piece spicy tenders so we proceeded to go and pay for the food. They said it was 2 regular chicken tender meals and I politely said if the one meal was a spicy, the lady that was giving us the food was quite rude and spoke down to us but I was patient until after she closed her window, we heard her cussing us out and saying very rude things about us when the man taking the order made a mistake by not telling us that there is no spicy tender 4 piece. She said after she opened the window, “we will let it slide this time but next time order the right thing”. I was mostly angry at the fact that we were being cussed out and spoken down to. We never got the spicy tenders we ordered.

Waited 15 min for food only 2 cars ahead of me . They don’t wear any gloves while preparing food.And the night manager told me they don’t have to wear gloves because they’re using tongs. The one person who had gloves on was also working the cash register. (Contamination)Asked the night manager what the stores grade was she said they didn’t have one. I pulled off Never again would eat here. Sorry but you lost a customer and that’s to bad because I love kfc.. but cleanliness is a mist dealing with food.

Was not good at all, walked out after 5 minutes waiting to order, because employee wiping his nose with his hand then blowing it right at the counter over drive. Through order . Proceeds to finish the order never washed his hands . I will never go back there unfortunately

Ordered via DoorDash and the entire order was incorrect, but the name on the order was correct. Attempted to call KFC as instructed by the Dasher so they could go back and get the correct one and no one picked up and their voicemail is full so you can't even leave a message.

I have problems Everytime inorder from this store..... Missing items or wrong items and when I try to get money back or get any kind of customer service I get attitude. I've already reported this store to corporate. I will never shop at this location again. These people are horrible at running a business and care nothing for your food or your satisfaction.

Ordered a four piece meal, all chicken breasts. All the breasts are soggy and literally sticking to each other. The skin is falling off absolutely disgusting. I can taste the chemicals in the food.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Waited over 20 minutes to get order taken. Then waited another almost half hour and still no food order wasn’t even started. But yet some employee friend came in 20 minutes after I placed my order. They started their food immediately. Also to note online orders were waiting over an hour but yet this lady with 50$ worth of food walks in and gets there’s made immediately. Not to mention said employee was heard telling co workers to make there food first and to ignore the screen. Will be reporting them to corporate. Don’t waste your time or money at this establishment
