A Must Try! American Pizza Mfg is a Take and Bake Pizza establishment -you order one of their signature pies (or create your own pie with whatever ingredients you want), it is assembled, and shrink wrapped fresh to take home to bake at your leisure. These pizzas are not cooked, just assembled with the ingredients you love, and packaged with instructions to bake at home. It’s like your own refrigerated pizza from a local grocer, but without the preservatives and freshly manufactured on-the-spot especially for you. They also have nice dessert options - we ordered the take and bake chocolate chip cookie, but will try other dessert options at a later date. What we especially love about American Pizza Mfg are the extensive veggie offerings, the goat cheese option on the menu, and the Cutie Pie Kit for a kids pizza party. As a vegetarian, it is nice to find a place with plant-based options, and to be able to create your own vegetarian pizza or vegan pizza is not an easy find. We did curbside delivery for our order, and Andrew had the best customer service and common courtesy with the delivery of our order. We are a military family of six and we appreciate that our sacrifices are appreciated with a 15% military discount offered (military families need to call in to receive this discount or show military identification before payment). Thank you Andrew and Thank you American Pizza Mfg for being military-friendly! Our family plans to make American Pizza Mfg part of our weekly meal rotation.

This place is so freaking cute! The owners did a great job designing this place and you can really tell they care about every order that walks out of these doors. I enjoyed my pizza last night and can’t tell you how delicious both my pizzas were. FUN FACT: I ended my dinner with the cookie & it truly grows to be as big as your face!!! As a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, I really like having an option that doesn’t have all of the extra preservatives and additives as a traditional pick up frozen pizza. You could really taste the difference in their high-quality sourced ingredients & I’ll forever recommend this as a healthier alternative for all my clients! Have always wanted to try this spot and today was the day after 4 years of passing it so often! I have to say I was impressed and when I say I love pizza… I love pizza and have pretty high standards. This place definitely brought it home!! 10/10 recommend.

Instead of getting a pizza from Costco, consider swinging by American Pizza Manufacturing and take home a fresh pie made to order. These guys rock, they don’t make your take home and bake pizza until you order it. You can phone in, use their webpage or just walk in and they will greet you and make you feel at home while you wait for your pizza to be made. Their pizza is delicious, we have tried almost every one and we love them all. Just set your oven to 425 and cook for about 10 minutes and you are done. Nothing better than a fresh hot pizza out of the oven. They have classics like pepperoni and Margherita but they also have some signature dishes which use top quality ingredients including caramelized onions, prosciutto, burrata and Italian sausage. Their pasta dishes are also awesome, we love the lasagna and macaroni and cheese. We always get a salad, our favorite is a palm desert, with candied walnuts and grapefruit slices along with Gorgonzola, delicious!

Sweetest people!! The pizza is amazing. This is a take and bake but they can cook personal sized pizza for you. We got a cheese pizza for our daughter who just got braces and they were above and beyond kind cutting her personal pizza into bite size pieces for her.

Tons of good things to say! Customer service was excellent! My family and I rented a place in OB for a week and the rental agency has a partnership with APM. I called to ask for the pies to be waiting for our arrival, a service offered. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and this was our arrival day. The gentleman with which I spoke made mention of that fact and we were ready to delay until Tuesday, but then he surprised me by insisting he come in to make and deliver our pies! Sure enough, the pies were waiting in the refrigerator when we arrived. We ordered the Shandy with the pine nuts, the Deere with Calabrian peppers, and a giant cookie. All three items were found ready to bake and already on parchment paper. When we slid the pies into the oven we were greeted with a nice personal touch, a hand written "thank you!" on the cardboard tray! Details such as this really make a difference. The instructions provided enabled us to bake the pies perfectly! The thin crust came out crunchy without need for reheating, all of the flavors melded wonderfully. La Jolla, I hope you realize what a gem you've been blessed with. Two thumbs up!

I was hoping to grab a slice of pizza, but they serve homemade pizza you can bake at home. Great concept. I had the chance to talk to the owner and got a salad to go. I got the Palm Desert salad and it was the best salad I ever had. Leafy, crunchy and tangy. APM uses fresh ingredients for everything. Oh and while I waited I got a free glass of wine. 😉 Whatever you order you will not be disappointed. ❤

We absolutely love this place! The staff is super friendly. They have the best and most fresh pizza toppings. The crust is phenom. We have tried the pizzas and salads and have never been disappointed. Looking forward to trying other things on their menu and going all the way with a bottle of wine. Also our favorite valentine's day tradition. No going out, pizza and wine. The best!

My husband and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary with a meal from American Pizza MFG, and it was fantastic! The pizza and giant cookie were phenomenal, but what made it truly special was the kindness of the owner, Andrew. He took our order, was super fun to chat with, and even wrote a congratulatory message on our pizza box. Such a thoughtful touch! Overall place was really clean and great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for great food and wonderful service. Thank you for making our day so memorable! Will be returning in the future!
