Snooze, an A.M. Eatery Laguna Niguel Reviews
First experience at the Laguna Hills Snooze. I had only visited one Snooze in the last 10 years and it felt like a new experience. The menu is very extensive with many options for each entree. I defaulted to the Eggs Benedict (Ham Benedict III) with the Hash browns, Flat & Crispy to try some unique in-house creations. Also shared the Pancake Flight with Blueberry, Strawberry Shortcake, and the unique Spiced Pear. The toppings are very sweet so no need for additional syrup unless you love sugar. The spiced pear was a novelty and blueberry was very good too. The bottomless coffee helped to tame the sweet flavor, so it paired very well. The atmosphere was a 50's vibe with the old-fashioned breakfast feel. Service was excellent and Saul was especially helpful in guiding us through the menu choices. His suggestion of hash browns was good, as was the shared options in the menu. It is very busy but the queue ahead option in the online system saved us a lot of time. Prices are not cheap but the quality and value was worth it. Hoping to visit again soon although it is a good commute.
We are regulars at 3 out of the 4 Snooze locations in Orange County but one particular experience at the Snooze in Laguna Niguel stands out and deserves honorable mention! Of course the food is consistent and always so delicious but Joe was exceptional in representing Snooze and how aware and friendly he is of his surroundings! He was bouncing around as the bartender/barista, food runner, and any tasks he noticed needed handling. He created the 'flat & crispy' hashbrowns which were so good grilled that way! He was very attentive with excellent customer service and sometimes knew what we needed without asking! We bellied up to the bar and it was evident regulars knew him because he also greeted them by their first name! Joe is a gem! I'm guessing he wants to keep growing in the food industry since of his promotion since he started at Snooze - as he should and well-deserving of advancing. Way to go, Joe! You're a dime a dozen! Thank you for the excellent experience! We will see you again!
The food is really good, fresh and not heavy at all. The atmosphere of the place is nice, and very clean. The service was amazing since you enter the place. The whole experience was great. Recommended!
Breakfast to remember. Amazing pancakes. Fast service. Fun atmosphere that harkens back to the marketing of the 50's. This location has a large outdoor seating area that is covered, and dog friendly. Free parking in a shared parking lot.
I really like this little place… Breakfast all the time. Had the avocado eggs Benedict and they were quite good. Great selection of drinks and a really interesting bar also
Great place for breakfast and drinks (if you are in the mood). Casual atmosphere. Wide selection of food. Great friendly and fast service. For those that care, they have a dog friendly covered patio with heaters.
Fun retro vibes. Good food. Good service. The food was really good. My chai tea latte left something to be desired. It was watered down and not as flavorful or satisfying as expected. Relaxed vibe. Prices were all around $14-$17
Wait staff was so nice. We were outside and our server was able to snag us an inside table on a rainy day. Bacon flight is alot of delicious fun if you like bacon. Had the crab benedict and would recommend. Had a coffee cocktail that hit the spot. Pancake flight was tasty and worth sharing. Food was delicious and atmosphere is cool. Always a fun place for breakfast or brunch.
They have a new springtime menu. They include some taco and burrito options head there plant powerbase breakfast, which was a smash, sweet potato veggies, and poached egg very flavorful. The breakfast burrito came with a green or red sauce and was full of flavor, eggs, hashbrowns beans. The weekends it’s normally a wait unless you set your time in line in advance on the snooze app,. We sat at the bar so we didn’t have to wait too long. Love their coffee options especially lavender latte.
Wonderful eats! We went early to avoid the rush (there is always a long wait time so make sure to use the wait-list option on their site) and could get seated immediately. Latke and Lox Benny (eggs Benedict) is excellent. We also tried the upside down 🍍 pancakes, which was good. The only item I have never liked is the soyrizo. It's far too salty.
I came here on Mother's Day... The busiest day of the year, it seemed like. I thought the service would suffer because of how busy it was but our server was great, food was tasty, and came out fairly quickly. Will definitely be back when it's not so packed and I bet it will be even better. Pancakes were nice and fluffy, I tried a bite of the french toast and those were also great. 😊👌
Snooze an AM Eatery remains one of our top brunch spots, whether we’re in San Diego or OC. The quality is consistent across locations. Every visit is a culinary treat. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Snooze, an A.M. Eatery – Laguna Niguel, CA If you’re hunting for an unforgettable breakfast/brunch spot, stop scrolling and get to Snooze! The food here is next-level delicious. The Breakfast Burrito is massive, flavorful, and downright crave-worthy. But the real star for me? The Pork Belly Fried Rice — rich, savory, perfectly balanced, and something you won’t find anywhere else in the area. Absolutely phenomenal. Service was attentive, friendly, and on-point from start to finish. Our server checked in often, offered great recommendations, and kept the vibe relaxed but efficient — exactly what a brunch crowd needs. And the decor? Total kitschy fun! Retro colors, playful touches, and a cheerful atmosphere that makes it impossible not to smile. It’s the kind of space that turns a simple meal into a mood boost. Portions are generous, flavors are bold, and the whole experience feels thoughtfully crafted. Snooze nailed it — highly recommend! Will definitely be back soon. 😎🍳✨

Living by the beach, I never wanted to go “inland“ for breakfast since we do have some nice choices that include a view of the ocean. However, I ended up meeting a friend there and now I am a huge fan! The food was beyond good; it was GREAT! Many vegetarian, and even vegan, selection to choose from as well. The service was excellent too, and the atmosphere was very nice.
Snooze’s habanero pork belly fried rice surprised me — bold, balanced, and comforting without feeling heavy. The heat builds slowly, the pork belly melts into the rice, and every bite feels intentional. Big serving that my sis and I shared it. I was also caught off guard by the huge bar in the middle of the space, serving everything from craft coffee to cocktails any time of day. Their coffee is genuinely great, and their hot choco hits the spot. The whole place has this bright, playful brunch energy — sunlight, color, and a steady buzz from families and groups filling the tables, all enjoying their breakfast together.
Tortilla eggs rancheros not bad a bit cold upon arrival for my taste. Flavors a bit bland but overall pretty good for a simple breakfast. Burrito tasted like salsa from a can. Great service and love the atmosphere and checkout.

We came here for breakfast because my partner and I were watching our favorite Xolo! We wanted an outdoor, pet-friendly spot, and not only was this place recommended by his parents, but it was also very convenient. The only thing that bothered me was sitting by the wall where there’s a waste water inlet or grease trap, kind of like where the water goes when cleaning the patio. It looked super dirty, and I was hoping there weren’t any mosquitos coming out of it. The restaurant was busy, and only certain spots had shade, so we had no choice but to sit there. It definitely just needs a good scrubbing both inside and out! On a positive note, our server Jayden was really sweet and accommodating, bringing out everything we asked for, like condiments and creamer. I ordered the corned beef hash, which was sooo good. My partner went with the classic American breakfast, and that was also delicious! Overall, I’d definitely recommend this spot for breakfast.

I got the classic breakfast, which comes with eggs your choice of meat, and bread. Is there chicken patty was actually really good. I like how unique their hash browns were, and the scrambled eggs were just your average egg: nothing to brag about. They let me substitute bread for French toast, which I found to be pretty dry. It does pair well with the eggs when eating together though. Don't get me wrong I like this place, I'd visit again!
Great looking diner, but the food was underwhelming. May give it one more try by the eggs Benedict was not very good. They do serve alcohol too so if brunch is your thing then this place makes it easy anytime.
I think our server was on a break so we had a young lady take the order of our drinks. My wife asked what type of mimosas they serve and her answer was very rude. She probably didn’t know the answer, and it is not hard, needs better training. I had the Bloody Mary and it was good. I ordered the Chile verde Benedict, the taste was good but my poached eggs looked terrible and was over cooked, and the extra water made the sauce watery. My wife had the avocado Benedict with a side of bacon, 3 bacons per order. Her eggs were perfect cooked. When we got our plates, there was no silverware on the table. Dogs are aloud on the patio, we got there around 9:30 and just missed the long lines, when we left the line was huge.
