Oh my goodness, you have to check it out! I’ve try different flavors but my favorite since the beginning it’s the LONESTAR BOURBON, and it comes highly recommended. First off, the baristas there are so welcoming and friendly – they always greet you with a genuine smile that really brightens your day. It's easy to tell they enjoy their work, which significantly enhances the overall experience. And the owner? Seriously, he's a wizard when it comes to coffee. He knows so much about different tastes and origins, and you can practically taste the love and creativity he pours into every single drink. They've got these amazing, wild flavor combinations for their lattes and other beverages that are truly out of this world – not just your usual coffee shop stuff. But wait, there's more! The pastries and desserts are also incredible. It's clear the owner puts so much care and effort into baking and preparing them – you can literally taste the freshness and quality. It's not just about selling coffee and pastries; it's clear he's always trying to go above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy and have the best experience possible.Seriously, if you're looking for a great coffee spot with fantastic service, amazing drinks, and seriously yummy treats, you've gotta try Dark Rock Coffee. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely loved my visit to this coffee shop in Laredo! The staff is incredibly welcoming. Their coffee menu is refreshingly creative—you won’t just find your standard lattes here. Each drink has a unique twist, with flavors that feel carefully crafted and thoughtfully balanced. Will definitely come again on my next visit!

Not much of a coffee drinker but this place has such a vast menu, uncommon coffee blends and flavors that make this spot stand out. Plus, the Ambiance and hospitality are warm and welcoming! A must try shop if near the Outlet shops of Laredo! 😋

Very great service ! Goes beyond to explain each drink with detail and will recommend anything that will fit your taste buds. Very strong coffee also. They have their menu online which makes it easier to look at my own pace. The workers there also mentioned other drinks that weren’t on the menu, since my mother was looking for something more simple. I got a Texas sunrise (which was really picturesque) and my mother got a latte, also very delicious. 10/10 would recommend

I’m from Dallas visiting family and was recommended Dark Rock Coffee from a friend who was just passing through Laredo and found and stopped for a drink. They did not disappoint! Every coffee we ordered (about 6) was so delicious and so well thought out. The way the flavors mixed, not too sweet and not too strong, just perfect! Absolutely delicious. And I’m very picky when it comes to coffee. Simply Amazing 🤤 Alan was very patient with us and very helpful with it being our first time. Very kind and attentive. He took the time to ask what type of milk we wanted and answered all our questions. Please make sure to stop and get some coffee anytime you’re in Laredo.

The coffee here is soo good! For myself I prefer something sweeter and it’s always kind of hard to find something I’ll like but I absolutely loved this place and its menu! So many options and flavors. And my fiancé is the opposite he likes really strong coffee and not a lot of flavor and we both found something we really liked! Shout out to Shan, (the blue hair barista) she helped us picked our drinks and we loved them! She was so nice and explained the menu to us so well! Definitely coming back to try other drinks!

This coffee spot is a gem! It’s my usual coffee spot and I love how although they have such a good staple menu they’re always introducing seasonal drinks that are just as good. On top of great coffee they’re service is always warm and welcoming and the staff go the extra mile to make sure the coffee is just how you want it. A must try!

First time visiting Dark Rock Coffee and I was excited to try it out. I asked the barista about the Rattled Brown Sugar drink, and she mentioned it was similar to Starbucks’ brown sugar drink. I decided to order it in a large size ($8). Unfortunately, it was really disappointing — it had no brown sugar flavor at all and tasted very watered down. For $8, it did not feel worth it. 😔

This place is okay if what you mean by coffee is sugary, iced "coffee" blends (if that makes any sense). I went up to the window and asked for a latte - they person at the window said they didn't have lattes. So I asked for just a plain coffee - they said they don't have that either. The person at the window said the only coffee they have is an americano. That is it. I ordered one. Their menu is online. Again, it's all just sugary iced "coffee" with a bunch of different flavors blended together. We did also order the Smoky Outlaw - too sweet. I understand this type of "coffee" is what's hip, but if you're just looking for a regular cup of coffee, don't let the sign mislead you: this is not it.

I ordered the mustang cooler drink from the menu & before ordering, I made sure to check the ingredients because I have a medical condition that prevents me from having carbonated drinks. The menu didn’t mention anything about carbonation or that the drink contained Topo Chico. After taking just one sip, I realized it was carbonated. I brought it back to the counter (the drink was practically untouched) and politely asked if there was anything they could do, since the menu didn’t list carbonation or Topo Chico as an ingredient. Unfortunately, the cashier w blue hair responded with attitude & insisted it was mentioned, even though I double-checked and didn’t see such note. I understand policies can vary, but a bit more understanding and transparency would have gone a long way. I just wanted to share this in case others have similar dietary or medical restrictions, double check before ordering!!

This place calls itself a coffee shop but it’s more of a dessert place. All of its drinks seem to be made of sugary concoctions, and their menu is vague about ingredients, on top of being out of date. I asked the barista if there were any drinks that could be made without sugar, and he said just the ceremonial matcha. I asked if there was anything else, or at least a drink with less sugar, and he said that was it, as everything has the same amount of sugar. After the initial conversation and spending a long time looking again at the menu deciding what to order, I got in line again and when I place my order, the barista tells me they don’t have certain things on the menu. Would have been good to know that when I spoke to him the first time. If you don’t update your menus, at least let customers know what you don’t carry. Hugely disappointing experience.
