Leander Beer Market Leander Reviews
Casual nearby (for me) place to meet up with friends for drinks. In and covered outside seating. Pool table and other games (cornhole) available. Really good food, check out their menu.
Pizza is great! Ton of onion rings and they were perfect. You order at the bar and the lyrics bring your food out. No servers otherwise.
Leander Beer Market has a great selection of craft beers and a relaxed, laid-back vibe. The outdoor seating is a big plus, and the staff usually knows their stuff when it comes to recommendations. The only downsides are that service can be a bit slow during busy times and some menu items feel slightly overpriced. Overall, a solid spot to hang out, grab a drink, and unwind.
I just moved to the neighborhood from Austin and didn’t know this spot was here. Truly a gem. Nice neighborhood pub atmosphere with plenty of screens and good tap beer/ full bar. My Portland, OR family felt at home. Will most likely be a regular. Food was good enough. It’s not a 5 star restaurant. It’s a bar/pub. A win for a cool place to meet up and watch the game, etc. Staff were friendly
Update as of June 25th, 2023: Always a good spot for a microbrew and pie. The pizza was on the crispy side but tasty. Service is always grand. Original Review: Great pizza. Big micro-brew selection. As a matter of fact, you can't get a major macro-brewed here (a la Bud Light, Miller Lite, etc.). The anything you want pizza all in for $9 is crazy. Fun locals spot.
We really enjoyed sitting at the bar and having a couple beers and a couple apps. The garlic bread with tomatoes was surprisingly perfect. We also tried the baked spinach dip and loved it!! The bar tender was friendly and accommodating. The beer selection was appreciated also. They had a sour that I really enjoyed and an amber that wasn't the same ol Austin Amber. Great experience!
Neighborhood “cheers” bar with great beers, full bar, and delicious food! TVs everywhere for Sports fans. Inside bar is warm and inviting, and there’s an outdoor heated patio too with a billiards table. Ask for John at the bar, he let me sample IPAs before deciding on Hoppy Right Infringement (double IPA with great citrus tones). “John at the bar is a friend of mine” (Piano man). I’m thankful this place is 10 minute walk from my home! New resolution for 2021: try everything on their menu! LOLs
Great place to hang out with friends and have some beer. Tuesday nights are comedy night. It was good 👍 I ordered a meatball Calzon .... so yummy!!!!
We stopped by yesterday around 3:30, they had a handful of customers and it appeared to have 1 bartender/server. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating, definitely a plus. The Bloody Mary was fantastic, I could’ve had several haha! The Mexican martini was pretty good and the honey cider on tap was delish and light. The only negative was the fact that they use plastic cups, some drinks just taste better in a cold frosted glass. We ordered the garlic bread with mozzarella and tomatoes and the fried pickles, both were good. The place looked clean and they have a jukebox that we used and the bartender did turn up the music a little bit as per our request, I’d definitely go back.
This is such a good neighborhood bar! Pretty cheap drinks and they change often - every time we go in there the draft selection is different which is kind of fun and gets you to try something new! If you’re grabbing food the fried pickles, meatball hero and wings are really good! Large outdoor patio with a misting fan, pool table and its dog friendly!
*Experienced Traveler Review Atmosphere: poor, at best. Food: literally BAD. Fine if you want just a bar / drink… although no music on patio, few fans, and uncomfortable seating on picnic tables. Food… well… look at the photos in this Review. This was supposed to be bruschetta and chef salad. Yep. Can’t say I have ever seen garlic bread and chopped cucumber / tomato salad passed as bruschetta… until today. ‘Chef Salad’ drenched in dressing and that’s cheese on top (looks like spaghetti) Yikes. Food:
I've normally really enjoyed the beer market but today was atrocious. My two girlfriends and I walked in during the Leander Christmas fest, our intention was three shots of cos amigos quick in and out.We walked in and no other patrons were in line. We stood off from the bar stools for quite some time. Several bar tenders seemed to help others without ever acknowledging we were present. Finally 5 minutes later a patron told us there were checkpoints you needed to stand in to be served. Ok.... understandable.. but why didn't the bartenders standing 1ft from us notify us???? Did I mention NO ONE else was in line at the time? So we stood in line behind the 3 people who walked in after us. Then someone directed us to the opposite "order line" we stood there for an additional 5+minutes and NO ONE SERVED US. What was so strange was the bar tenders were ABSOLUTELY aware we walked in before anyone else waiting to be served but intentionally ignored us despite us being unaware there was a rule to where to stand. Like why wouldn't they lean 1ft over and say "oh hey ladies the line is here" ..before 10 people walked in after us. I finally locked eyes with a bartender who I honesty felt was sympathetic to how crazy long we had been there and I said " we've been waiting really long" and she responded soooo unbelievably rude that we could not justifiably stay. We walked right the hell out and went straight to Night Owl where we were treated like royalty. Yall just need to be aware.
Great little local pub with great food and atmosphere! Lots of covered outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. Update: 3/24 This place has definitely gone down hill. Ordered a philly and charged 12 plus 3.5 for fries are ADDON charge wow. Only to receive a bread sandwich. Literally only a single piece on Shredded meat. Plus a little can of cider is 6 dollars! Will never go back!
