Just enjoyed a fantastic meal at Smokey Mo's BBQ in Leander! We ordered brisket sandwiches, potato salad, and beans – all of which were absolutely delicious and prepared quickly. Our little one loved the grilled cheese and mac n cheese from the kids' meal. The staff provided truly great customer service, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for delicious, timely BBQ in Leander, we highly recommend Smokey Mo's!

Smokey Mo’s absolutely nails it across the board. The food is incredible, greatly made and everything served hot and fresh. You can really taste the care that goes into every bite. The service? Top-notch! Friendly, extremely fast, and genuinely welcoming. You feel like they actually appreciate having you there, which makes the whole experience even better. And the atmosphere? Clean, and full of that down-home BBQ charm. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the vibe is always warm and inviting. I always love to go to the Smokey Mo's. I crave BBQ constantly and the Smokey Mo's offers great food, service, and the food is relatively affordable considering how much it costs to eat out these days. I love their sausage. It's mouth-wateringly tender, flavorful and it also comes in jalapeño if your palette favors the spicy. It also pairs quite well with their BBQ sauce which is a nice blend of sweet and smokey. I really dig their potato salad which is nice and moist. It scoops like ice cream and is tasty like a scoop of ice cream. Potato salad should never be dry. I'm also rather fond of the macaroni and cheese. My wife says they add a little bit of citric acid to it. It's how they make it so creamy. It is O so creamy. PRAISE CHEESUS! The employees are both courteous and professional. They cut off the blackened portion of my moist brisket at my request to make it easier to chew and digest. Class act! They have bread, pickles and onions out on the floor so you can make your own BBQ sandwich. And I suggest you do. Praise Cheesus!

We’ve lived right near the Leander smoky Moe’s for a little over a year and a half and have never had anything but great experiences! I’m a huge fan of their brisket and breakfast tacos- both are out of this world (do yourself to save her and order the brisket, egg and cheese breakfast taco, if I could give it 10 stars, I would). My partner often orders the BBQ baker/baked potato and it’s beyond delicious! Good selection of drinks and food as always fresh & delicious. Clean restaurant great location and wonderful staff!!

I stopped here the day before eclipse 2024. Not busy at 4:. I got three meat dinner. Sausage and ribs was excellent. Brisket was a little dry but tender and ok overall. Nice dining area.

I recently placed an order with this restaurant and wanted to bring an issue to attention. I had specifically ordered pork belly, but when the order arrived, it had been replaced with “weight in meat,” without any prior notice, explanation, or apology. Additionally, I was not offered a refund or compensation for the item I did not receive. I understand that sometimes items may be unavailable, but I believe it’s important to be informed and given the option to choose a replacement or request a refund. This location has done this twice now. Perhaps look elsewhere for pork belly.

I have tried to order here for delivery and all 3 times they have gone to a different address and I have to get in my car and go find them to get my order! Why can't they have english speaking people deliver? They can never understand and have NO clue how to find addresses and by the time I get to them the food is already cold! On top of that....I order brisket and it is always chopped? I keep asking for sliced brisket but they just do NOT care to read what I order! I gave it 3 chances and all 3 were a complete failure! I even asked for red salsa and bbq sauce and I ordered 4 tacos and received 1 bbq sauce! Again, they DO NOT read what people order! Yet, they charge me $8 for del fee plus to tip a person that cannot even deliver it to me!! COMPLETE FAILURE!!! I will go elsewhere now!!!

Just paid about $19 for five tacos which I thought was overpriced. Get on the road and realize they shorted me a taco. And the tacos were kind of small should’ve went to Bill Miller like I usually did. Yes I should’ve checked before I left.

We ordered $50 worth of tacos for the brisket tacos to have about an ounce or less or dry brisket, the potato, bacon taco had about 5 small cube potatoes, 1 small slice of bacon, chorizo tacos had grease that spilled out through the bag onto my seat. Never again! We even drove to a further location to give it a second try. Seems consistent across locations.

We went and ordered 3 tacos and they were HORRIBLE. They were extremely salty potatoes burnt and two pieces of Pacino not even cut up. Smokey mo’s did not use to be like that. Sadly we won’t be returning even though it’s so close.
