Absolutely phenomenal food. Best in the South Bay without a doubt. Service was also wonderful. Make sure you save room for the silky smooth flan. So glad I found this place, never getting Mexican anywhere else.

Delicious and satisfying Oaxacan food! The best Mexican in the South Bay. Fresh chips, spicy salsa, and rich homemade mole! High quality ingredients, generous portions, reasonable prices. Start with the tlayuda and don’t stop! Casual atmosphere and friendly service. The rotating aguas frescas are always a hit.

Love Love Love!!! This is a Xuacan restaurant and was delicious… this is a must visit type of place … I don’t think I read the reviews properly in the beginning it’s not a taco shop it’s a regional specialty place and I cannot spell Wahacken save my life. Cannot wait to come back!!

A great find in the South Bay after a surprise birthday at the Torrance airport. Was craving Mexican and was way out of our neighborhood, so went to Yelp who was spot on again. Food was awesome. Very authentic and delicious. Tried a carnitas taco, Chile relleno plate, a milanesa torta and menudo for later. The taco was good, but everything else was on the exceptional side. Just really good home style, with restaurant quality good. Service was also top notch. Due to Covid we decided to call in our order and got there so quickly we were parked up front before we ended the call. They must have had some mix ups before because they were wanting to make sure we knew their address. We told them we were calling from the car our front which they thought was pretty cool. We went in for our order and paid hit part of the order wasn’t ready so they gave us the option to take what was ready to the car. We were starving so we agreed and they brought the rest of the order to us when It was done. Nice car side service! If your in the neighborhood, give them a try and you won’t be disappointed. Pro tip: menu says menudo on weekends only but we were there on a Wed and they took care of us.

Very nice people. Authentic Mexican food. Noticably different from the typical Mexican food you will find in the city.

We walked in at lunch craving some good Birria. The place was not full for lunch. We were welcomed and promptly served. The menu here is diverse and authentic (pipian verde, mole, nopales, chorizo, etc). We saw Dos Tacos de Barbacoa con cabra and decided to order this for lunch. The goat barbacoa tacos were filled with meat- such a generous portion and it truly was Cabra! The flavours were authentic and the meat was delicate…beautifully done and so tasty! I loved the finely diced green chilies in this preparation. I’ve been craving an authentic Mexican sit down restaurant each time I visit here and I am glad I finally found one! Go check it out!

One of my new favorite places. The prices justify the size of their portions & the taste of food. This chunky beef wet burrito was plenty for 2 people to share.

Wonderful "old school" home-style dishes from Oaxaca. I could literally eat their mole amarillo every day for at least a month, and be happy. No-frills but pleasant ambiance. Excellent, efficient takeout if you call in your order! 3rd party apps like Doordsh don't usually pay attn to what's even on the current menu, and they bury small biz in fees. There's (limited but solid) parking out front. Highly recommend! So glad my cousin said they were the best Oaxacan in the area!

Just found out about this restaurant so my family and I decided to try it out and WOW. From the moment I took a bite of their tortilla chips I knew this place was gonna be great. And great it was. My family is Oaxaqueño so we obviously eat a lot of Oaxacan food and have high expectations, but this place far exceeded our expectations. A new favorite, for sure!

Family-owned and packed with flavor. I tried their wet burrito with carnitas and was amazed — it’s massive and perfectly balanced. Their agua frescas are always freshly made and refreshing. It’s a casual place with welcoming service. Prices are fair for how much food you get. It’s become a weekly stop for me.

This place is a hidden gem. In an unassuming strip of shops located on the edge of Torrance and Lomita, this place used to be a tiny hole in the wall that serves amazing Oaxacan food. Despite the craziness that has been the last few years, they have not only survived, but have expanded. I go for the mole negro, but pretty much all their food is delicious. Go and enjoy a great meal and support a fantastic small business.

The main dishes were pretty good tasting. The rice was plain instead of the Spanish or Mexican style rice other Mexican restaurants have served. The drinks they had were only traditional Mexican drinks with no refills. The parking is bad with only street parking available.

Had the chicken pepian. Sauce was amazing, tho' the chicken a bit dry, but chicken breast in a restaurant almost always is too dry for my taste. Wife had the carne asada which was delish. Prices very reasonable especially these days for the amount of food. had enough to take home for another meal! Service was very attentive, and their salsa is very tasty.

Well everything was going okay until I got the bill I had ordered a side of nopales come to find out $5 for one nopal..and 5.25 for 1coke😬. The food was decent... Nothing to write home about. I would probably came back if it weren't for these crazy prices.
