Cute dessert bar. Delicious and pretty. Highly recommend enjoy a cup of latte with their signature “The Harvest” and Milky puff. Staffs are friendly and always attentive. Seating is bright and airy. I love to spend time especially in the afternoon with a book.

I’ve known Spot for over 10 years, since their very first location on St. Marks. Over the years, they’ve expanded to more locations, including LIC and Flushing. Since the LIC location is close to where I live, I was genuinely excited when they opened in this area. Their Green Tea Lava and Golden Toast have been amazing since day one and remain consistently great even now. Back then, the dessert was called Green Tea Lava Cake. It seems they later renamed it to Matcha Lava, likely to give it a more premium feel. This time, I also tried one of their newer desserts an ube-based dish. It was okay and didn’t particularly stand out, but I do appreciate that they continue to update their menu seasonally and introduce new items. Overall, it’s great to see the brand evolving while maintaining the quality of the classics that made it popular in the first place.

5 stars because the staff was so kind! The desserts were alright. We got the plant pot thing and the Ube-errie which was nothing mind blowing. A good spot for quick hangout or catch up with friends !

Matcha lava cake is the best! Black sesame ice cream is pretty good but the red bean mochi cake is so dry. Golden toast is also pretty good. Very friendly service. Nice shop vibe.

Great venue, which is spacious and well-lit! Service was fast and the employees are friendly and helpful. The desserts are creative, colorful, and tasty. Good selection in terms of both desserts and drinks.

@spotdessertbar has been always my fave dessert place when they opened first time many years ago. You can order single dessert or if you want to order varieties of it, they have Omakase deal for $79.95 (5 tapas dessert, 3 pastries and 1 pot of tea). My top fave is Matcha Lava cake. The moment I cut into it, that warm, gooey pure chocolate started flowing. The outside is perfectly baked, soft with a slight crisp. Not overly sweet, just rich and so satisfying. Paired with a scoop of ny fave Matcha ice cream. Absolute perfection. Also must order Harvest which is in the shape of plant pot (very creative !). It's layered soft cheesecake, milk tea with raspberry sorbet on the side. We also ordered Hey Jasmine (jasmine panna cotta, pandan sago, raspberry sauce, jasmine ice cream) and Sweet Beanie (red bean mochi Mousse with black sesame ice cream). They are all so delicious and unique. Peachy Summer is very refreshing with their shaved ice of white peach granita, passion fruit cremeux and coconut sauce.

The matcha lava cake was delicious—crispy on the outside with a hot chocolate filling, and it paired wonderfully with the matcha ice cream. The honeydew cream soda was also a nice treat, served with a scoop of ice cream on top. Most of the customers here seem to be younger crowd.

I’ve been going to Spot for over 12 years across all their NYC locations. Was so excited to see the LIC location finally open over last few years! The desserts are great, and consistent with their other locations. I appreciate the quality doesn’t suffer from expanding. All their desserts are good but standouts for us are: - Milky Puff - Harvest - Golden Toast - seasonal desserts - these are always amazing and delicious! A few years ago they had a summer special, the Watermelon Dacquoise, and I am praying they bring it back!!! In my 12 years as an avid Spot Dessert Bar fan, easily their best menu item. They do seasonal menus often and they keep it crafty and interesting. We follow their IG for updates. Service is fast at this location. The desserts come out efficiently and nearly instantaneously. The only downside is that this location is always SO COLD. I’m shivering here whenever we go, even on hot summer days. They keep the AC running for sure. If you’ve never had Spot, definitely give it a try. You won’t regret. If you’re a loyal fan, this location doesn’t disappoint.

Absolutely love everything about this location! The staff is kind, quick, and attentive. Even though it’s a small space, they’re incredibly patient when giving recommendations, which I really appreciate. The menu is frequently updated—always a great sign. I’m a big fan of their sorbet scoops, though I do think they could work a bit on the presentation to make it more visually appealing for photos. The place gets popular fast and can fill up quickly, but it’s a great spot to sit down and chat with friends. No doubt I’ll be returning!

Staff was lovely and the deserts were amazing! The combo deal was perfect for all of us! They are a very small store so it did take a bit to be seated and order. But besides that it was great!

This place always has a good crowd inside even late into the evening. Came here after dinner for dessert and was able to get seated. The menu is fun and love that they have seasonal desserts. We pretty much liked everything we got.

This is the spot for dessert! We were a party of 6 and ordered the omakase. It was perfect since we could choose 5 of the desserts and some cookies and it was a great tasting. I really enjoyed the matcha lava cake and the caramel miso cookie. Great textures and flavors!

I’ve been to all spot bars in the city now and they all have the same great quality and taste. Very consistent, which is great. It’s a must go place if you want to go for a quick dessert or a dessert tasting. They have “packages” that allow you to select a a few items to share. It’s a great place for groups, dates, family outings. You should reserve a table in advance so that you don’t have to wait on line because it gets packed. They have a selection of tea that’s nice. The desserts aren’t too sweet and are portioned well enough where each dessert can feed between 1-4 people depending on if you’re eating alone or with other people! Overall, a great place that I’ll come back to!

food quality: 5/5 service: 5/5 cleanliness: 5/5 value: 5/5 I absolutely love this place! Right when you walk in, the staff is very welcoming and the decor is very fun and bright. We came here for a late dessert run and was sat down pretty quickly. Our server was very helpful with suggestions and detailed descriptions of the dessert as well. We ordered the: Harvest - with soft cheesecake, Chiffon cake, whipped cream, earl grey milk tea and raspberry sorbet. Milky Puff - a choux puff pastry, brûlée banana, white chocolate honeycomb, cornflakes, and condense milk ice cream 🤤. This was my favorite!! Earl Grey Bubble Tea - The boba was perfect and the earl grey really great! Everything came out fast and so enjoyable. I highly recommend this for anyone needing a dessert, even on a late night one!

I recently checked out Spot Bar at the Queens Plaza location and really enjoyed the vibe. It’s a great place to relax, and their jasmine ice cream is honestly amazing—light, floral, and super refreshing. The only downside was the service. The server didn’t seem very attentive and rarely checked in, which made the visit feel a bit impersonal. Still, the quality of the dessert and the cozy atmosphere make it worth coming back. Hopefully the service improves next time, because that jasmine ice cream is too good to miss!

It's a nice dessert spot. You can dine-in or do take out. You have dietary options such as almond milk. The waiter was great (despite being the only waiter) A couple of things: They put everything on one bill, and also, there is a code you have to ask to use the bathroom. The waiter gave us the wrong code a few times. I definitely would return to this spot.

The desserts themselves were delicious! Not too sweet at all. The drink menu also had some good options. Service was average. Food and drinks came out at weird timings- I got my drink after our first dessert came out. Not a big deal though. There was only one staff member taking orders and running food when I happened to be there and the place was full- doesn't seem efficient or easy for one person to do all that!

This is a nice cozy place! Been to the Spot Dessert Bar in Manhattan and it’s just always packed there but it was nice here. It felt way more spacious. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The option to downloading an app to order was not the most convenient and in the end wasn’t even worth it. We just ordered off their menu. I always enjoy their dessert. Everything always looks so appealing! I love how their desserts aren’t really sweet! All the flavors they put together for a plate really melds! Drinks were good too. Only thing is, the prices for these desserts, you can get a filling meal instead!

Been to two locations of Spot Dessert Bar, and I had the same opinion of both of them. You kinda need to just go up to the counter to order or pay because the staff doesn’t come around very often. The desserts are okay, the toast was pretty sweet as you’d expect. Wasn’t up to my expectations but there aren’t many other dessert shops in the area.

My first time at this café. I walked in and bought a coffee and a muffin. They asked if it was to-go or if I’d be staying. I said I’d stay, so they seated me, gave me a menu, and then told me that according to their policy, I’m not allowed to drink my coffee and eat my muffin here unless I order something from the menu. Question!!! Why would you seat me and not tell me about this strict policy when I placed my order at the counter?!

I came here as my first time at a Spot with my girlfriend. We were in hopes for the aesthetic cute dessert we saw online. When we walked nobody came to greet us at the door and it wasn't even busy. We went straight to the counter to look at the menu and not once did the server come up to us to ask if we were dining in or not, not even the cashier asked us if we were dining in or taking out while we were ordering. After checking out we were told to wait on the side, and thats when we realized they were making our order for to go. We got up and asked the server if we could have a seat. She set us near the front door while there were tables in back and she served everyone else water except us. When our order came out we got handed a takeout bag with our dessert in solo plastic sauce containers. We got the harvest and it came in a paper cup with no chiffon cake at all, it was just cream and soggy. We didn't pay $30 to eat premade dessert in to go cups. SMH. My girlfriend has been to the Spot in Saint Place which is equally busy if not more and she had better experience over there. Truly a disappointing first time experience for me and also with my girlfriend. There was no type of hospitality. Just mediocre food and bad service. Not trained enough and established system. Will not be coming back, go to Saint Marks!!
