The Infamous Long Island City Reviews
Hip Hop and drinks in a cool location!!! Shout out to PJ!!!
Awesome low key bar with great service!
Didn’t have any food but as a bar it’s top notch. Bartenders are knowledgeable and personable. A great drink spot
Super chill bar. Highly recommend! Any cocktail will be great. Good place to unwind.
Really cute speakeasy! My husband and I stopped in after dinner and the cocktails are amazing, and the staff is super sweet. Definitely recommend!
Best bar in LIC!
Fantastic vibes - the drinks are top notch and the intimate setting makes for a really well curated cocktail bar experience. 10/10 would recommend
amazing drinks and service! Loved their espresso martini & make it clap 😊
Excellent cocktails, service, and company! A must try when in the neighborhood. Love Paul!
There cocktails are unique and made with love. I look forward to coming here to have a drink
Great service! The tamarind sauce was amazing even if it’s not around all the time. Great drinks and atmosphere
Staff was friendly, accommodating and fast. Drinks were A+++
Small bar w/ limited seating inside, but it does have outdoor seating (~3 tables). Cocktails were good and strong. Service was attentive and friendly. Glad to have a cocktail bar come up in the area - much needed, as we typically would go to Dutch Kills for cocktails in the Court Square area.
Delicious drinks in a very nice space. Smooth Operator and I'm Sorry Ms Jackson were both very good. Door to enter is from the street level. We were there in the early evening so it was brighter than usual. Great music too!
lovely lowkey spot, great atmosphere, great drinks
No food just a little small bar a quick walk to the train and nice drinks and nice atmosphere. Small but perfect little hip hop hole in the wall ❤️
Lovely spot, great drinks, music and bartender.
Such a good spot. Delicious drinks and a great convo with the bartender all night. Highly recommend! The space is small fyi
Went to this place with the Mrs. and our 21 month old at around 8 pm on a Saturday evening... because it was overcast, the place was moderately busy and we were lucky to get seating outdoors. They have arranged about 3, 4 seater tables outside. We ordered Shook Ones (Dewars, orange zest, home made orange syrup) which was an absolutely brilliant smoked whiskey that my wife absolutely loved. I ordered No Show which was good... Service here is absolutely excellent. The staff is very friendly, and they were very nice enough to get some finger food for our 21 month old. Overall, we had a very nice experience here and we'll definitely return here.
Infamous is one of the best cocktail bars in NYC and I've been regularly coming here for the last year. They make custom cocktails and have a rotating menu every few months.
Great hidden, little cocktail bar. The staff is very knowledge about their drinks. They also have a pretty solid beer selection. Entrance is unmarked around the corner from extra butter or you get in from inside of extra butter
Love it it's definitely a good crowd and old school vibes, come check us out
Excellent experience, bartender was on point, great conversation and attention to detail with his customers. Space is cozy, and it has a nice, relaxed vibe. Great spot to come and hang out while enjoying some specialty drinks.
Drinks are super high-quality. They do not skimp on the amount of alcohol they put in their drinks. Bartenders are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about mixology. Great date spot.
Stumbled upon this place w my friend and they took such good care of us. I didn’t get his name but the bartender in the Air Force one jacket was the best 💘
Best bar in New York. PJ is the best bartender in the world, amazing drinks and conversation. Would love to go back any time I am in LIC. Just wish I lived near by.
Great vibe, solid prices, awesome bartenders!
This is a fun little bar tucked behind the butter streetwear store. I ordered the cocktail with the pineapple puree and it was so good! Refreshing and hit the spot. I feel like this would be the perfect place for a first date!
This is one of the best speak easy bar I've been to in NYC. It is more of an exclusive bar where you have to be lucky to find and get into it. The vibes is amazing and they got too many signature drinks. I was amazed by the cool talks and service from the bartender Anand. Dude was too coool and made my time there worthy. Overall, I love the place and will definitely be there again n again
Sexy space for the right crowed. Amazing knowledgeable bartender with exceptional crated cocktail options. Must be visit.. lowkey gem!
Great atmosphere, even greater drinks. Shoutout to Paul, he’s the best!
Such a cool spot - really love the dark green lighting. Our bartender was very friendly and the drinks were so creative! A great place for a date but maybe not the best spot for larger groups. The space is small but very tasteful in the way they made it more intimate.
Pj very kind and friendly first time visiting and loved it, great drinks!!! Defly coming back
The attention to detail to service, PJ and the staff are polite. Stop by for a quick drink or night out with friends
Stopped in for a cricket event. Friends and I were happily surprised to try the bartender’s tamarind syrup — so delicious! Definitely a place that cares about cocktail craft. Some fun beers on the menu too. Small but mighty spot.
Brings a much needed cocktail bar/speakeasy vibe to this part of Long Island City
Really enjoyed the hole-in-the-wall ambiance here, and the server was excellent. A great place to escape a good cocktail or two.
Great mocktail list - I enjoyed the NY state of mind drink - very balanced and niece garnish. Very intimate atmosphere. Really cool place for catching up w/ friends.
Ambiance: Dimly lit, comfortable couches/cushions Music: Early 2000’s to latest hip hop/rap music Drinks: If you like sweet cocktails, “Crush on you” and “Make it clap”. If you prefer Smokey cocktails “Ms. Fat Booty”. If you prefer more bourbon, “Rebirth of Slick”. Music isn’t too loud, a good balance of hip, loudness, and casual. They have variety of drinks like wine, beer, and cocktails. Something for everyone. Staff are friendly, and you can comfortably chat with locals. It would be local 5/5 place for me if they had some small bites along with the drinks. Maybe some fries, fried peanuts, small bite tacos/tater tots.
cozy little spot that’s really easy to get to from the train. i like how compact but spacious of a space it is. prompt service, communicative, delicious drinks! will definitely be back.
Went for drinks 8/7/2025 and it was hopping. DJ on the street and three tables outside. There were like 6 small tables inside. Some were reserved however not sure how you reserve a table. Cool vibe mostly young people being seen. I asked bartender to make something fruity and with vodka. He did just that and it was very good! Was able to get a table after a bit which was like gold! Very small inside however chic and city vibe. Husband and friend had a version of an old fashioned with bourbon and mezcal which they thought was different and they liked it. The name was Know the ledge. I would try this for a drink and cool for a date just know with music hard to hear.
Lovely clean bar! I kind of want to gate keep because I love how empty it was on a Saturday night , not full of disgusting screaming people 🤣. The staff were super courteous and made great cocktails. I posted on IG and would definitely return
It’s disconcerting, the ability we have to drink beers in the sunshine. We arrived at a table whose conversations echo into and abound from the nook that sits behind. The nook belongs to PS1, so every now and then you hear whispers of the wonderful artists whose careers were lost to the sterilization of that great space. The sun sets, the beers are delicious, the environment is curious, and entirely welcome for those who recognize the vision. Brilliant establishment, for the beer curation and the sun shine angle.
This is a cool trendy bar in LIC, with a speakeasy style vibe. It’s quite small so it will get filled up quickly. The entrance is found within the graffiti - in case you get stuck looking for it. The drinks are well made, the lavender one was delicious, very lavender forward, but it works. The “Sorry Miss Jackson” drink is the flaming one and is worth the show. There’s only one washroom, so you’ll have to be prepared for that. They play some cool late 90s to early 2000s hip hop, which I definitely appreciate. Will definitely come back to try some of the other drinks on the list.
They have a new menu thats not online yet, cocktails all go up by ~$1 I had something with mezcal which was eh, but other people in my party ordered different things which they all liked Tiny, overpriced, but if you choose the right drink it’s worth visiting once
Probably the most expensive cocktails you’ll find in the entire borough but I don’t think they’re elite. You’re better off heading over to Dutch Kills for my money.
Great selection of drinks and cocktails. Amazing atmosphere. Horrible ventilation do not recommend for cold weather visits.
Cute little speakeasy in Queens Their entrance is on the corner around Extra Butter, don’t go down the stairs into the basement. The entrance door is right behind the stairs which looks like subway stairs but it’s right behind it on the wall I had a good espresso martini, I’ve had better but it’s nothing special And the infamous, the look is really cool but towards the bottom all you taste is melted water
Cool bar in a trendy space, but not exactly a speakeasy (not hard to find since you can access from the open door to the street... Haven't seen the access through Extra Butter). Small environs, so you may or may not get a seat. If you do, cocktails are elite and several are tropical themed. Plan around $17 per drink. It's good and certainly a place to check off the list. But didn't really impress our small group enough to warrant a return visit.
The trendy interior decor was lovely, however the consensus of our group seemed to be that the drinks tasted watered down and on the sweeter side, nothing ordered was particularly well balanced as far as cocktails. Definitely left wanting. I feel like this bar is unsure if it wants to be a club or a speakeasy, but it needs to make a decisive choice. This place may be cute for a craft beer or a glass of wine, but for $17 a cocktail there are much better cocktail bars in LIC and the city.
The place was so so small, next to a clothing store. Is not really a speakeasy, more like a simple bar that you can see right away. Each cocktail was like $20 dls.. I’ll give 3 stars for the friendly staff and the cool decor.
The atmosphere is odd - well-decorated, very small, & hip-hop/rap music & murals, but it doesn't seem to match the sleek interior. The drinks were decent, although the bartenders were kinda inattentive.
Cute space and all but felt a rude vibe from the bartenders. We came in on a weekday and we were the only ones at the bar. We were excited to check this place out because we had a great experience at extra butter! Coming in, we didn't really feel welcome but brushed it off. Towards the end of the night, the bartenders started to give us passive aggressive attitude, cleaning up and staring almost like they wanted us to leave. We thought we had stayed past the closing time so we checked and it was like 30-40 min before closing time. If your bar is closing/want us to start heading out, why not communicate that instead of making customers feel uncomfortable and weird lol. The entire time it just felt so off that I would definitely reconsider coming back.
Not planning on ever going back. Bartenders seemed to barely know basics which they could barely make because there were all of absolute minimum inventory, in a very Ikea-feeling space. Thinking maybe two dudes decided to open a bar and had very little to invest in vibes and stock. I suppose it's a fine space if you're looking to do some shots.
Loud, hot and pricey. Came with a small group, most of the other drinks were fine, "crush on me" was flavorless. The waiter took a while to come back to our table and I had to ask for the drink to be returned (he took it back without asking too many questions which I appreciate) and then again we had to ask for it to be taken off the bill. The bartender asked if I wanted a new one, but at that point the rest of the group had already finished all of their drinks and we just wanted to get out. Decent effort, but not worth 18-20$ per drink, especially compared to what other places in the area have to offer.
Drinks were mediocre and did not taste good. Priced like a Manhattan cocktail bar but the quality is not there. Vibes were not it. They blasted Eminem on repeat, not really fitting for a cocktail bar. NOT the speakeasy feel that all the reviews talk about, it’s quite small but there’s no atmosphere and the clothing store is very visible through the back wall. The staff seem nice but I feel misled by the reviews!
I ordered three cocktails and a 20% tip was already included in the bill without telling it. Lots of ice not much to drink
My friends and I ordered two hummus plates among other things. The waiter came with two flatbreads probably defrost and a microscopic side pot of « hummus » (the one you usually get for the mustard). When we asked for the hummus, he told us that was everything left for day… we thought they would not charge us for the hummus, but they did. We complained, and they offer 20% on the hummus. Bottom line, pita breads were very expensive.
