Cafe Nur Los Altos Reviews
While in the Los Altos downtown, we were looking for a spot to eat and found this on Yelp. It was a nice find. We enjoyed the food on the hot day and sat outside under the umbrellas on the benches. I ordered a greek salad with chicken and it was very good and fresh. It came with few pieces of bread on the side. The service was great. I would recommend!
Great food, awesome people. We went there during a random walk in Los Altos, we were so delighted! We liked it so much we actually ordered for another meal to go as well! Menu diversity: fairly diverse, dominated by Turkish dishes! Prices: great for portions and quality! People: very friendly and awesome Portion Sizes: fair, not big! Cleanness: seating area was very clean Seating: indoor and outdoor seating! Beautiful patio/streetside seating! Has accessible seats inside and out!
Really really really delicious food! We had chicken shawarma, mixed kebab grill and Adana kebab platters. Every single meat was flavorful and delicious! Rice was buttery and yummy and the salad was so fresh with just the right amount of dressing! We had the lentil soup and Turkish tea, both of which we loved. We’d love to try their brunch menu next, which looks amazing.
Excellent little cafe with healthy food. I had the grilled salmon salad and it was cooked to perfection. Simple tomato cucumber salad on the side but fresh and delicious.
Wow are we lucky to have stumbled upon this place for brunch. I ordered the Turkish breakfast for $16, and my husband ordered the lamb beef gyro plate for $12. We were stuffed by the end of it, and they were both delicious! The owner(?) was there and service was great. So good!
Cafe Nur in downtown Los Altos is a great spot for Mediterranean food with both indoor and outdoor seating. The grilled salmon and chicken shish-kebab were flavorful and perfectly cooked, served with rice, pita bread, and a fresh salad. A delicious and satisfying meal in a cozy setting!
Delicious food, well presented, and friendly staff who were patient with me as I asked questions about the menu. I ordered the greek salad with chicken gyros, which came fresh with large chunks of feta and tasty olives!
Very nice Mediterranean cafe. It features a terrace so you can enjoy your meal outside. The menu is fairly priced and portion are generous. Don't miss the Baklava

Very good eggplant salad, and the falafel wrap doesn't disappoint compared to other places in the area.
Amazing food. Nice owner! The special spanakopita with lamb was 10/10
The cafe is a great place to eat. The lamb skewers were great and the atmosphere was nice.
Cafe Nur is a local gem with staff that is genuinely kind and helpful. The lamb and beef gyro salad is incredibly flavorful and generous, packed with fresh vegetables and a thoughtful slice of seasonal fruit. If you’re dining in, you have to try their tea.
Cafe Nur is a great Mediterranean spot in Los Altos! I came here for breakfast and tried their shakshuka — it was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and served fresh and hot. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Definitely one of the best places around for a hearty, flavorful Mediterranean breakfast. Highly recommend it!
Great food. The taste is very good and the meal is well balanced, with meat, rice, and multiple vegetables. It took a little time to prepare, but that shows it was made fresh. The owner is welcoming. When I ordered dessert, he offered me tea that paired with it, which showed he really stands behind the food.
Excellent food and very friendly staff. The wraps are healthy and delicious. The hot tea in the glass cup takes me right back home :) This is one of my favorite places for Turkish/ Middle Eastern food. Highly recommend !
We over ordered, but wanted to try different flavors. It was worth it. Everything was delicious! The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We'll definitely be back for more .
Cute, cozy restaurant and we enjoyed the complimentary Turkish tea :)

The falafel plate was delicious, especially notable was the babaganoush. The staff member who helped us, Mohammed, was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. I would definitely return.
Located in a beautiful neighborhood. Very friendly staff. Excellent place for weekend family and friends lunch. Plenty of seating. Fresh food. Turkish cafe providing halal lamb and chicken. No beef or pork dishes. Nice fresh dessert options. Weekend special meals. Variety salad options. Simple fresh platters.

We have ordered only twice so far. The Greek salad is spectacularly good, as was the Adana wrap; and we enjoyed the Vegetarian Combo. The shawarma chicken on the Greek salad with chicken item was tough and chewy; and had little flavor, as if it had been left over from a day or two ago--most disappointing as I had read reviews praising it.

We ordered 2 wraps, falafel and gyro. Both were too salty. My wife couldn't finish her gyro, it was bad! IMO it's a bit over price considering the quality. Service is ok. You need to order before seating. The atmosphere is mediocre. All in all, I don't recommend the food here unless they've had a rare bad day.
